“I have your money, Daniela. Don’t worry sweetheart. I brought cash. And I promise I will pay you back down to the last cent. Nothing more, nothing less. It is cash, Daniela. But in coins, since you weren’t specific. Happy counting, sweetheart.”
Nanny Esther showed Mikoy’s note to Marga and pressed her for answers. Marga asked what it meant if someone who was irritated with her helped her, and Esther said it was either the person pitied her or liked her. The cab driver who had driven Carlos last night brought some taxis to the autoshop to be serviced. Turned out that he was the owner of the taxis. He asked for a discount and Carlos was more than happy to oblige. Daniela was excited about the launch of her promo team.
She was confident that she would soon patch things up with her husband since he had prepared dinner for her and Marga last night. Repairs were still ongoing at the factory. Romina put Neil in charge of the materials to be bought while Bonita handled the food for the workers. A man came over to introduce himself as Armando Ortiz. Romina was ecstatic when he offered to invest in her company. A moment later, Bibeth the snitch-witch called to inform Daniela. Kristoff was happy with the way Cassie had stood up to Marga earlier, glad to know that she still loved him. Cassie reaffirmed her løvë for him.
“So do you think it’s time?” Kristoff prompted.
“For what?”
“To get back together. Let’s continue our relationship.”
“But Tope…”
“I can’t stand our situation anymore. It’s really tough. I’m sure you feel the same. Let’s keep it a secret, okay?”
Cassie stared silently in contemplation. Daniela met up with Armando Ortiz and offered to pay him, provided he pulled out his investments in Romina’s company. Armando then revealed that Carlos had paid him to invest in Romina’s company. Danny girl seethed. She later went to confront her husband at the car shop and threatened to cause trouble if he didn’t pull out his investments in Romina’s company. Cassie was blushing over Kristoff’s text, asking to have lunch with her. Puppy servant/ most loyal lapdog caught her in the act and pressed her for details, certain that she had gotten back together with Kristoff. Cassie played dumb but Roxy didn’t seem to buy it.
Romina was having a talk with Bonita and Neil when Leon and his guys came over with some food to celebrate the launch of her company, as well as the investor. Felix gave Bonita something special he had bought for her, calling her his baby girl. Romina was having a hard time finding can suppliers so Leon offered to supply her with jars, just like that of Cassie’s. Daniela stormed into the factory and demanded that Romina return her money. Mina lashed out at her. Danny girl then announced that her investor was just a dummy hired by Carlos. Romina was in disbelief. Carlos came over and admitted to it, and Mina rewarded him with a slap. Daniela mocked and demanded for her money again.
Mina wrote her a cheque. “Shove it down your throat,” she hissed, handing it to Daniela. “I wouldn’t have accepted it if I knew it came from you.”
Daniela however insisted to have her money back in cash. She gave Mina a deadline – 9am sharp tomorrow morning, she wanted her money brought to her. Marga confronted Mikoy and asked why he always helped her. Mikoy dodged the question and Marga went on about how she didn’t need his pity. Mikoy walked off. Most loyal lapdog/puppy servant came over to inform her puppy master about her suspicion of Cassie and Kristoff being back together. Romina was determined to make Carlos pay for embarrassing her infront of her employees. She didn’t want the people to think that Daniela’s accusations were true.
“What’s your plan?” Bonita asked.
“I’ll give Daniela a taste of her own medicine,” Romina declared.
Hector was going on about how he couldn’t get a decent lawyer for his brother. Puppy servant spouted a bunch of crap and suggested to her father that he ask Daniela for help. Daniela was eagerly waiting for the 9 am mark so she could humiliate Romina if she failed to make it in time. After answering the telephone, Savannah told Daniela that Hector was waiting for her downstairs.
“About what?” Daniela asked.
“I don’t know. But don’t worry, I didn’t say you were here.”
“Good. Now according to my timer, there’s ten seconds left.”
An employee came in just then. “Ma’am, there’s a truck outside the building with a delivery.”
“A truck?”
“Yes, ma’am. Apparently, it’s for you.”
“What?”
Daniela came out of the office just as Romina stepped out of the truck. Mina sauntered over, and Daniela demanded for her money again.
“I have your money,” Romina announced.
“I don’t see any money,” Savvy commented. “Maybe she’s referring to the truck.”
Danny girl seemed confused. “What the? I told you I wanted it in cash. Am not going to accept this old truck in exchange.”
“Daniela. Don’t worry sweetheart,” Romina mocked. “I brought cash.” She started opening the truck. “And I promise I will pay you back down to the last cent.” Mina flung the door wide open to reveal sacks full of coins. “Nothing more, nothing less.”
“Is this a joke? I said cash.”
“It is cash, Daniela. But in coins, since you weren’t specific.”
Danny girl ranted, and Romina gave her a piece of her mind. “Happy counting, sweetheart,” Mina mocked as she sauntered off, laughing mischievously.
Hector was waiting by reception when he noticed Daniela getting into her car outside. He hurried over, forced the driver out and confronted Daniela, who suddenly had belly ache. Daniela asked him to take her to the hospital. Once there, the doctor mistook Hector for Daniela’s husband. Hector was more than happy to play along. Romina arrived at the factory, only to be ambushed by Carlos. She wanted him gone but Carlos wouldn’t budge, asking for her forgiveness and saying that all he wanted to do was help her. Mina didn’t want his help though. As they argued, Leon arrived and asked Carlos to leave. Carlos gave him attitude. Romina asked Leon to ignore him, but he however insisted on Carlos leaving.
Carlos threw the first punch. A fight ensued, and Leon practically handed his ass to him. Carlos was no match for him. Leon barely restrained himself from bashing his head in as some officials came to restrain him. Kristoff asked Cassie to be his date for the Maxwell ball, but Cassie wasn’t up for it since people could notice that they were back together. She however agreed to show. Hector treated Daniela to a feast. Danny insisted on having soursop (an apple-like friit), so Hector sent out a waiter to get some. Daniela eventually gave him the number of her friend’s law firm. At the town hall, Carlos claimed that he hadn’t done anything wrong. Romina mentioned that Leon had just wanted him to leave.
“Why are you defending him?” Carlos asked. “I’m the one who got hurt here.”
“It’s not my fault you’re weak,” Leon jeered.
The official called Carlos to order as Romina asked him not to make a scene. “Can’t you see I’m on your side?” Carlos said. “I’m helping you get revenge on my own wife.”
“If you really want to help, then leave me alone,” Romina shot back. “Don’t ever come see me again.”
“I can’t do that.”
“Why, Carlos?”
“Because I still løvë you.”
Romina stared in disgust as Carlos went on saying that he wanted them to go back to how things were between them before. Marga asked Kristoff to be her date for the Maxwell ball, but he turned her down. Marga however persisted. LJ and Fatima came along just then, and Kristoff announced that he would be going as their dates instead. Mini-Daniela was appalled. During dinner, Daniela received a call, asking her to come to the town hall because her husband had been arrested. The guys were glorifying their boss’ fighting skills and how he had bested “that idïøt” as Romina tended to his bruised lip. Romina asked where he had learned those fighting techniques.
“From my father,” Leon revealed. “He was a business man, as well as an army instructor. Don’t worry, I’ll teach you sometime so that you can give Carlos a good whooping too.”
Leon then gave her a pepper spray to use against Carlos, but Mina said she could protect herself just fine. Leon however insisted that she take it. Daniela arrived at the town hall and asked for her husband. The receptionist suggested that she leave him since he was a womanizer and had even confessed publicly his løvë for another woman. Leon pressed Romina for an answer regarding Carlos’ revelation, asking whether she still loved him. Romina said she didn’t and their relationship had ended years ago.
“Your feelings might return,” Leon said.
“They won’t, because I løvë someone else.”
“Who?”
“Robert. My husband. He might be gone, but my løvë for him is as strong as ever.”
Back at the town hall, Carlos gave Daniela attitude, and she resorted to making a scene on account of his public confession of løvë for Romina when they were still married. She then revealed how she had been hospitalized earlier while he had been out brawling and trying to show off for ‘that woman’. Carlos seemed repentant, even as Danny girl promised to show him what hell on earth was truly like if he got back together with Romina. Mini-Daniela found her mother crying in her room. She asked what her dad had done this time, and Daniela told her Romina was determined to take Carlos away from her.
Marga spouted crap after crap about getting rid of Romina and Cassie permanently. Daniela recalled the words of the receptionist last night at the town hall. She began throwing a fit, revealing last night’s incident to her bratty lapdog and how her husband wanted the annulment so he could go and chase after ‘that woman’. Savvy suggested that she do it since she was still young and deserved better than ‘that loser’.
“I’m not done with him yet,” Danny girl declared. “If he still løvës Romina, then I’ll always get in their way.”
“Daniela, let go before it’s too late.”
“No, Savvy. I just need to make sure they’ll never get back together. You have to help me find a way to finally get rid of Romina.”
“What do you have in mind?”
“What else? I’ll have to teach Romina a lesson she’ll never forget. She’ll pray for dëäth. I’ll sue Romina and ruin her company. Let’s just see if she won’t hate Carlos completely once I drag her name through the mud.”
