“There are only two people who could have done this to me. Daniela Mondragon and Hector Mangubat. Everything’s destroyed, but not me. They can try but they won’t win.”
Leon carried Romina out of the burning factory to be attended to by some paramedics. Meanwhile, Cassie and her friends arrived at the mansion to find Kristoff absent. He was however still inside the room, talking things out as Mini-Daniela kept denying knowing anything about the viral photo, spouting lies upon crap. Kristoff asked for her help to clear the misunderstanding.
“What for?” Marga said. “I know you like me.” (You’re so clueless)
Kristoff seemed like he was about to puke. “What?”
“I know what you’ve been doing. You’ve been secretly helping me to get close to me.” (And so st*pid)
“Helping you with what?”
“You helped me save my mom. You even sent a note, remember?”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about. I never sent any note. I’m not the one who helped you.”
Trina came up to Cassie and informed her about her boyfriend talking with Marga in a room. Mini-Daniela came out with Kristoff, who was glued to his phone. As soon as she noticed Cassie, she deliberately intertwined her hand with Kristoff’s. Cassie stormed out. Most loyal lapdog, aka the puppy servant, couldn’t keep her abominable mouth shut. She kept on spouting crap about Kristoff courting her puppy master. Cassie was confused by the situation.
“If I were you, I’d break up with him. He’s a cheater.”
“No, Roxanne,” Fatima countered. “They should talk first.”
Mikoy tried talking some sense into Marga to quit with her glorious b*tchiness. He then revealed that he had been the one who had helped her and her mom. Cassie received a phone call from Kristoff. She listened to most loyal lapdog and didn’t bother answering. Another call came in from Neil, telling her about the explosion and her mother being at the hospital. Back at the mansion, Mini-Daniela argued with Mikoy over him not telling her that he had sent the note.
Having discovered that Kristoff wasn’t really courting Cassie, Mikoy was determined to go and tell Cassie the truth. Mini-Daniela ranted. Daniela walked in on the scene. At the hospital, the police questioned Romina and co about the explosion at the factory. Leon mentioned having seen a bømb before the second explosion, as well as a suspicious looking man outside.
“Can you tell us what he looked like?” the officers asked.
“No. He suddenly disappeared.”
“Do you know anyone who might be behind this?”
“There are only two people who could have done this to me,” Romina stated. “Daniela Mondragon and Hector Mangubat.”
During the drive to the mansion, Carlos told the cab driver about his family’s issues. He then proceeded to persuade him into doing business with his car shop with the promise of a discount. Daniela went on spouting crap after crap, accusing Mikoy of trying to blackmail her daughter. Mikoy said he’d never say something to ruin Marga because she was her friend, and Danny girl just laughed and went ahead to mock him all the more. Cassie rushed to the hospital to see her mother. She asked her what had happened and Romina just avoided the question and asked her not to worry since the police were investigating. She then revealed that Leon had saved her, and Cassie thanked him.
Daniela was still going on with her ‘show of terror’ at the mansion. She actually ordered for the dog to be brought over to force Mikoy into talking. Carlos walked in on the scene, coming to Mikoy’s defense as the dog barked and growled. An argument ensued. Mini-Daniela ranted and stormed off. Mini-Daniela was throwing a fit in her room when Nanny Esther came in. She ranted on about making things worse with her ‘stupid party’. All attempts by Esther to convince her to make up for her mistakes came to nothing. Marga was hellbent on not accepting her parents’ separation or allow Kristoff and Mikoy run off to Cassie.
Puppy servant, aka most loyal lapdog arrived home to find some officers questioning her father about the explosion in Romina’s factory. She went ahead to make a scene, claiming that her dearest daddy was the saint of saints and not capable of hurting anyone. Meanwhile, Mini-Daniela discarded Esther’s words of wisdom and went on spouting some nonsense I probably chose to ignore. Daniela and her loyal lapdog celebrated the destruction of Romina’s factory with champagne. Nanny Esther and Bernard went to see Romina at the hospital. Mina was worried about her daughter since she seemed scared by the situation, and Bernard promised to follow up on the case.
“What now, Romina?” Esther asked. “What’ll happen to your business?”
“I’ll get it running, nanny.”
“Are you sure about that?” Bonita asked.
“I promised the workers of SikaTuna jobs. I can’t disappoint them.”
“But how will we start up the business? The factory was greatly damaged by the explosion.”
“How big is it?”
“Really big. The production area especially.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll find a way to solve this,” Romina thought to herself.
Romina went to the factory to see the remnants of her hard work. Neil lamented over the situation. “What will we do now, Romina? Everything’s destroyed.”
“Everything’s destroyed, but not me,” Romina declared. “They can try but they won’t win.”
A crashing sound sent them deeper into the factory. Turned out that Leon had organized his guys into fixing the damages. Bonita and Bernard came in just then with some others who were more than ready to help. Romina got emotional as she thanked them for their support. Neil rallied the people and they sprang into action. And who would join the lot? You guessed wrong. It was Bibeth, the snitch-witch. Gino informed his brother about the explosion at Romina’s factory. Meanwhile, Bibeth the snitch-witch went ahead with her sob story about how she needed a job badly to send her kids to school.
“Okay. I’ll hire you back in my company,” Romina said. “I don’t want to be the reason why you won’t be able to provide for your family.”
“I have a really bad feeling about that woman,” Bonita commented after the insufferable woman went away.
“We need to keep an eye on her,” Mina said. “She might still be planning something against the company.”
Carlos rushed in just then to offer his help, but Romina turned him strongly. She told him to focus all his attention on his family because she didn’t need him. Kristoff tried approaching Cassie but LJ and Fatima kept him away. Cassie however sent off her ‘bodyguards’ so she could have a talk with Tope. Kristoff asked Cassie why she was avoiding her, and she brought up seeing him with Marga at the party, as well as the rumours going on about them. Kristoff insisted that there was nothing between him and the queen of brattiness and all things rotten.
“But you should have stayed away from her,” Cassie argued. “You should have proven to me that what I’m hearing about you is wrong, so she wouldn’t get the wrong idea.”
“There’s nothing going on between me and Marga. You should believe me. I’m still your boyfriend.”
“Boyfriend? You don’t need to explain anything to me.”
“I need to, because I want you to know the truth.”
“Maybe my mom was right. I should be focusing on more important things than let myself be hurt by you.”
Mini-Daniela came over to add to the trouble, claiming that Kristoff was denying courting her infront of his ex. Daniela was glad with the new project of promoting her kidñappiñg sob story along with Camila products. Savannah came over to inform her about their major increase in sales. The snitch-witch then called to update her on Romina and her company, adding that Mina had gotten very upset after a Carlos came to see her at the factory. Danny girl spouted some crap after the call. Kristoff confronted Marga about her deliberately making things worse. Mini-Daniela spouted some crap about trying to save him, adding that Cassie didn’t deserve him. Kristoff gave her a piece of his mind before walking off.
As Carlos was going on about Romina’s rejection earlier, he received a call from Savannah, asking him to come to the office, claiming that there was an emergency involving his wife. Romina was excited to learn that some of the machines had survived the explosion. She was determined to do her very best to build the company from the ground up. She decided to go for another bank loan and Leon insisted on driving her. Carlos rushed into his wife’s office as Savvy made her way out. Daniela put on a show, claiming that she had been worried about their baby since she had been having cramps. Carlos started fretting over her. Cassie was sulking by herself when Mikoy joined her and assured her that Kristoff wasn’t really courting Marga.
“What about that incident at the party?” Cassie asked. “And the things Marga said.”
“None of that is true.”
“You mean Marga made all that up?”
The bell sounded just then. “You should go to class. And when you have time, go talk to Kristoff. Patch things up.”
Hector was pretty upset that his lawyer couldn’t get his brother out of jail. He sent him off, threatening to mess him up if he showed his face again. Alvin was weary of going back to the city jail and Hector promised to get him the best lawyer. Romina asked to have her business loan increased, even prepared to pay more interest since she had faith in her products. She however needed more collateral to be granted the loan, so Leon offered to cosign on her business loan and add his business to the collateral. Mina protested but Leon went ahead to ask for the documents to be prepared anyway. Marga mocked Cassie with her situation with Kristoff, and Cassie gave her a piece of her mind.
“You’re still waiting for Kristoff, even after everything you found out?”
“Ohhh, you mean the lies you made up about Tope courting you? Tell me, Marga. Why should I be scared? The stories you made up aren’t true, and sounded completely desperate.”
“Everyone in school believes me,” Marga taunted. “Kristoff is mine.”
“You can try to steal everything I have,” Cassie shot back. “But as always, I’ll never make it easy for you.”
“You sure about that?”
Cassie made a show of slapping some sense into Mini-Daniela, but she restrained herself at the last minute. Marga flinched. “Oh…why do you look so scared?”
Mikoy came over to restrain Marga as Kristoff and the girls were approaching. “I’m warning you, Marga. Stay away from me and Tope.”
Kristoff walked away with Cassie. Hector went hunting for another lawyer for his brother. The lawyer said there was nothing he could do to keep his brother from being transferred to the city jail. He then went ahead to suggest that he pay off the victim to drop the charges against his brother. Hector found the idea laughable. “So basically, I should beg for mercy?”
“That’s the only way.”
“Just admit it. You are useless!”
Marga argued with Mikoy about the incident earlier and him defending Cassie. Mikoy said she had to be thankful because he didn’t want them to fight, adding that she had to stop lying all the time too. Marga and Daniela arrived home to find the food Carlos had prepared. Danny girl was excited and grateful while Marga was indifferent. Meanwhile, Romina treated Leon to some Chinese food as a token of her appreciation for all his help.
“Why do you trust me so much?” Mina asked. “We’ve only just met.”
“Because I can see your determination,” Leon replied. “Sometimes, that’s all it takes.”
“Don’t worry. I promised the bank that I’ll pay them back. And I’ll pay you back too. That’s why I need to find investors as soon as possible.”
“But who’s going to invest in our business?” Neil asked.
“I can still talk to Camila’s investors. I might just be able to convince them to help.”
Daniela thanked Carlos for treating them to dinner. Carlos said there was no need because it was his responsibility. He then mentioned how well business was going and the new branch he was planning to put up to support Marga and their baby.
“That’s great,” Daniela said. “Do you need money?”
“No, thank you. I’ve got big customers. I’m good for now.”
