Carlos Befriends Gabriel To Sabotage Him. Sandra Stands Up For Isabel. Isabel Strives To Rekindle Her Past Romance With Carlos. Roman Reaches Out To Maila & Discovers Troubling Information About Rigor & Victoria.
Carlos instructs Simeon and some other workers about how to handle the upcoming campaign. Gabriel happily displays the tons of stuff he had been given. Grandma Lydia shares in his joy and begins to wonder whether Carlos is really sincere in patching things up with him. Isabel confides in Carlos about her family problem and the scoundrel actually gives her sound counsel.
As Gabriel prepares for his meeting with Carlos, Rigor surprises him and Lydia with his good guy act and ridiculous show of concern. Isabel hangs out with her cousin and blabbers nonstop about how she now stands a chance of getting back together with Carlos. Derek says she’s getting her hopes up and might get heartbroken again but Isabel won’t listen to reason. Meanwhile, Gabriel arrives at the bar and Carlos gets two glasses of whiskey for the both of them.
Bianca informs her family about Carlos hanging out with Gabriel at the bar and they hope that both men finally patch things up and even become good friends. Back at the bar, Carlos begins interrogating Gabriel about his father. He brings up how Rigor has been visiting Victoria and urges Gabriel to tell him to stay away so there won’t be any trouble.
Vicky has her husband check the first draft of her birthday guest list, and Roman gives her consent to include Sandra and Josh, both parents of Isabel. Sandra calls Josh on phone to confront him about how he had allowed his wife to humiliate their daughter. Said daughter Isabel the witch arrives home just then and listens in.
After a brief argument between the parents, Josh’s new wife snatches the phone from her husband at the other end to argue her case. Isabel gets all emotional as she listens to her mother defending her.Isabel materializes right after her mother hangs up and once Sandra sets eyes on her, she apologizes for her shortcomings and assures her of her løvë and significance.
Roman has a talk with Josh about his situation with his two families. He makes note of how he’s been investigating Victoria because he suspects that she’s hiding something from him. Rigor sponsors Gabriel’s loved ones with some drinks and makes a show of proving to them that he’s really a changed man. Bianca calls Gabriel on phone to ask him about how his meeting with Carlos had gone.
She’s inclined to believe that the boss has really changed for the better and Gabriel can only hope so. As fate will have it, Roman gets his hands on Maila’s phone number and proceeds to call her to set an appointment so she could tell him of the details of her investigation on Rigor.The next morning at work, Isabel surprises Carlos with a dish she had prepared for him as a thank you gift for being there for her earlier.
Jay Jay pays Steph a visit at home and Sandra receives him warmly. She agrees to let them go and hang out at the park but cautions them not to stay out too late. Carlos has a talk with his mother about his plan to befriend Gabriel in order to protect their dirty secret. Gabriel finally manages to enroll back into school.
Later at the training facility, Carlos continues to play nice with Gabriel. Maila has a talk with her father about Roman’s request to see her in regards to her investigation on Rigor. A moment later, she meets up with Mr. Dela Vega at a restaurant and makes known her reason for investigating Rigor – her suspicion that he was the one who had ättaçked and crippled her.
Roman then question her about her closeness to Victoria and Rigor’s history with her.Maila answers Mr. Dela Vega’s questions with some measure of discretion. Bianca returns home with Gabriel and is surprised to learn of her mother’s meeting with Mr. Dela Vega. When she asks her grandpa about it, he plays dumb.
In the meantime, Maila reluctantly reveals to Roman how Rigor had been kicked out of the Philippine Team because of his persistent attempts to court Victoria back then. They both agree to keep their meeting confidential and Roman thanks Maila for her time and asks to be updated on anything new she learns about Rigor. Isabel has dinner with Carlos and discusses with him about his decision to join the next triathlon.
Carlos claims he just wants to test out Gabriel’s skills so Isabel also decides to join to compete against Bianca and test out her skills as well. Meanwhile, Gabriel has a talk with his loved ones about why Roman wanted to talk to Maila. Rigor spies and listens in. Isabel thanks Carlos for dinner and as she tries to steal a ki$$, he backs up and merely wishes her good night.
During breakfast the next morning at the Villoria residence, Rigor questions Gabriel about what Maila has been saying about him as well as what she’s been up to. However, Gabriel doesn’t give him much to go on and merely delivers Carlos’ message – that he (Rigor) shouldn’t see his mother (Victoria) anymore.
When asked of their relationship, Rigor claims that he’s been longtime friends with Vicky and would stay away from her if her husband doesn’t like it. Maila informs Bianca and Ben about her meeting with Roman earlier. She notes that she had kept her investigation on Rigor a secret from her daughter because she didn’t want her relationship with Gabriel to be affected.
Bianca says the most important thing is to bring Rigor to justice if he was really the one who had ättaçked her. After a cryptic conversation with his son, Roman heads to the bedroom to stare down at a sleeping Victoria, wondering why she had lied to him about Rigor. Because he løvës her, he would wait for more information before he acts. Roman hopes his suspicions aren’t true.
