Nevertheless, the audience continues to cheer for Gabriel. Later, Rigor second-guesses Gabriel’s ranking because of the time he had wasted. However, Gabriel doesn’t regret the help he had given. Carlos questions Bianca about what had happened between him and Gabriel and childishly reminds her that she can’t have any boyfriend. Isabel eyes them with her evil eye.

Gabriel tries to explain what had happened earlier but she cuts him off. During the next meeting at the Dela Vega Building, Roman whines nonstop because TigerShark’s earnings had only increased by 5% after Bianca’s victory in the triathlon. Carlos is taken by surprise when Roman bluntly asks him to fire Bianca. Isabel is delighted. Carlos makes a pathetic attempt to argue.
Carlos later vents out his frustrations on Isabel as he’s inclined to believe that she’s deliberately trying to get Bianca dropped as TigerShark’s endorser. Isabel denies it but secretly harbors a scheme to take Bianca down. Later at the office, Carlos lies to Bianca about how his father had reacted to the result of her performance.
He then reaches out to his mother for help to convince Roman not to fire Bianca from TigerShark. However, Victoria turns him down since she’s desperate to distant her family from Maila’s. Victoria reluctantly meets up with Rigor at a restaurant, and he makes it crystal clear that he would stop at nothing until he gets her back.
Vicky says what happened between them was just payment for what he did to Maila. Rigor then threatens to tell Roman everything and expose how she had switched his son for theirs. Victoria makes a futile attempt to blackmail him.
A series of flashbacks show how Vicky had persuaded Rigor to switch their baby with Roman’s. So on this note, Gabriel is the real son of Roman while Rigor and Victoria are Carlos’ biological parents. Presently, Rigor takes pleasure in taunting Vicky with how Roman might not forgive him when he comes to know of the truth.
Vicky then blackmails him with the welfare of their own son. Upon her return to her office at the Dela Vega Building, Victoria reflects on a memory where she had seen Rigor spying on her during a dinner date with Roman.
Apparently, Roman had caught his then-fianceé staring at Rigor and when asked who he was, she had claimed that he was merely a fan. After that incident, Rigor had been arrested for allegedly possessing illegal drügs. Victoria had framed him in order to get rid of him for good.
