Cardo & Vendetta Surrender To The Authorities. Oscar Regains Power. The Allies & Accomplices of Lucas Are Arrested. Lily Continues With Her Cunning Schemes.
Hipolito regains consciousness to find Lily staring down at him. When he asks what had happened, she begins taunting him with how she had saved his life, and with the dëäth of Lucas Cabrera. The news of Lucas’ dëäth begins to spread throughout the country.
Meanwhile, countless policemen surround the Vendetta hideout and Jerome notifies Cardo and the others as soon as he spots them. After Flora and the Arevalos are made to go upstairs, our favorite hero and his comrades brace themselves to fight back.
President Hidalgo urges the group to surrender peacefully and Ramil and a couple of the guys get upset to learn that he was the one who had sold them out. Tension spikes on that account. Cardo gives the order to get ready to defend themselves and Grandma Flora interferes to ease up the tension, pleading with her grandson to surrender peacefully so no one else has to die.
President Hidalgo seconds her and reaffirms his promise not to abandon them. The police assemble outside the house and call out for our favorite hero to surrender. A moment later, Cardo steps out with the members of Vendetta in tow and they all drop their wëäpons and give themselves up to the authorities as the Arevalos and Flora’s family look on woefully.
President Hidalgo shows up and gets acknowledged by the officers. Cardo and his group are then cuffed and taken away. The news of the arrest of the Vendetta begins to spread on TV and Caloy and his family express their outrage. However, the entire country begins to celebrate the return of President Oscar Hidalgo.
Oscar is escorted back to the Palace by the chief justice and some other trustworthy officials. He’s asked whether Cardo and Vendetta were really the ones who saved him and he confirms so. Speaking of, the vigilante group is transported to camp Crame where they’re processed as CIDG detainees.
Oscar walks into his office where he expresses his disgust over how Lucas had tarnished the honor of the presidency for his own personal gain, orchestrating the dëäths of so many. He then vows to rebuild everything Lucas had destroyed.
Oscar retakes his oath and he’s sworn back in as president, while Cardo and the members of Vendetta are exhibited at a press conference in camp Crame. The Arevalos and Flora’s family discuss about the situation of Cardo, Alyana and the rest of their companions, with grandma Flora quite confident that President Hidalgo would eventually fulfill his promise to the Vendetta.
In the meantime, Oscar gives a speech about his reinstatement into power and reveals how he had been rescued by Cardo and Vendetta from Lucas’ diabolic plan. As the whole country tunes into the live broadcast, Oscar declares that the vigilante group aren’t bad people or criminals or enemies of the state.
Cardo and the members of Vendetta are taken into custody where they begin wallowing in their misery. While Makmak is mourned and cremated, Oscar sadly reflects on some memories with his departed family. He intends to draw strength from their memory in order to fulfill his sworn duty to their country.
Flora finally returns home with her family and Makmak’s remains.Back at the Palace, Oscar orders some officials to have all the allies and associates of Lucas Cabrera apprehended and brought to justice. VP Hernandez and Secretary O’Campo are soon caught and milked for information that leads to dozens of arrests of their partners in crime.
President Hidalgo is surprised to learn that Hipolito is still alive and on the loose. He gives the order for his men to prioritize the search and capture of Hipolito. Speaking of, Hipolito considers reaching out to Albert and Damien to help him with his current situation, only to learn that they’ve already been caught and arrested.
Lily taunts Hipolito with how he’s now probably a wanted man, saying that he has no one else to turn to but her because Oscar is likely to hunt him down. Cardo and the Vendetta are brought before the law court to face the charges of rebellion against them.
Albert and Damien are being transported to prison. The former harbors the ridiculous idea of seeking out Hipolito for help, ignorant of the fix he is in.Cardo, Alyana and Delfin receive a visit from Grandma Flora and the rest of the family. Elmo takes note of the new hairstyle our favorite hero is sporting.
When Flora asks how they’re being treated, Delfin assures her that she doesn’t need to worry because they’re all safe in camp Crame. Cardo asks about what’s been going on out there and he’s told about Makmak and Lucas’ funeral, as well as the disappearance of Hipolito’s body.
Delfin is taken by surprise, even as Cardo concludes that Hipolito is still alive. Flora is then urged to seek assistance from President Hidalgo to protect their family.
Meanwhile, Hipolito has an exchange of words with Lily in regards to her plans. Lily soon sets off somewhere, gloating over how she has Hipolito, President Hidalgo, Cardo and Vendetta all wrapped around her finger.
