Carlos Makes Desperate, Deliberate Efforts To Woo Bianca & Frustrate Gabriel. Rigor Blackmails & Pesters Victoria. Gabriel Joins The Triathlon.
Gabriel and Bianca reflect on the time they had first met each other in Zambales and how they had ended up going their separate ways. They look forward to becoming closer friends and remaining so until the end. The next morning, Gabriel returns home and upon learning that he had failed to confess his feelings to Bianca again, his family tease him with his delay tactics.
Later, Gabriel gladly talks to his grandma about his reconciliation with Bianca and how he’s been struggling to confess to her. Meanwhile, Bianca updates her mother about the reason for Gabriel’s sudden disappearance during the sports camp event and Maila isn’t that surprised that Rigor still hasn’t changed.
Bianca can’t seem to understand why Gabriel has been acting weirdly around her lately. Maila says that she (Bianca) doesn’t know whether to treat Gabriel as a friend or something more because she’s also come to like him.
Bianca doesn’t deny it and her mother urges her to stop worrying so much since Gabriel hasn’t said anything to her yet. Bianca has running practice and the coach commends her form, confident that she would bag the gold medal if she keeps it up.
Carlos finds Bianca in such a happy mood and assuming that it was because of the surprise he planned for her birthday, he insists that they have dinner together later to discuss about the next triathlon. Reluctantly, Bianca agrees. Rigor the father of the year begins talking trash to Gabriel upon learning of his intention to court Bianca.
Gabriel gives him a piece of his mind and as Rigor threatens him, Grandma Lydia comes upon the scene. When she asks what’s going on, both men play dumb. During dinner, Carlos makes it a point to urge Bianca to aspire for something bigger besides being an accountant and helping out her family after she retires as an athlete: a corporate job with TigerShark.
Gabriel arrives at the Agbayani residence in search of Bianca, only to learn that Carlos had picked her up for a supposed meeting. Carlos proposes for Bianca to become his wife in order to live the good life. When Bianca reacts with disbelief, the scoundrel makes a joke of the matter and begins grumbling about how she can be negatively affected by Gabriel’s father’s scandals.
Bianca defends Gabriel and cuts their meeting short. In the meantime, Gabriel is caught in a tight spot when the Agbayanis begin grilling him about his relationship with Bianca. Grandpa Ben in particular bluntly pesters him with questions about whether he likes Bianca or not and Gabriel evades and practically runs off.
At TigerShark, Isabel trades words with Carlos about how she would easily beat Bianca again in the next triathlon.Gabriel is downcast as he’s inclined to believe that Bianca had gone out with Carlos because she likes him. At the local gym, the guys discuss with Jojo about the upcoming triathlon and who to sign up to join the event.
Gabriel comes over to pay a portion of the house rent and since he’s strapped for cash, Jojo urges him to join the race and try to beat the champion triathletes. Maila informs her daughter about Gabriel’s visit earlier and she in turn recounts how Carlos seems to be making a move on her again.
Rigor blindsides Victoria on her way to work and grumbles over the games she’s been playing with him.Vicky asks what he wants and he tells her that he wants them to talk about the boy (Gabriel) she had abandoned years ago. Vicky then proposes that they talk later at a nearby coffee shop.
While Olsen strives to convince Gabriel to accept Jojo’s offer, Vicky makes it clear to Rigor that they can’t be friends anymore because a lot of things have changed since the last time they met. Rigor then taunts her with the child they have together.
At the Dela Vega Building, Carlos makes a presentation to the board about the benefit of the sports camp event and Roman questions the stagnant revenue of TigerShark. In the meantime, Vicky pleads with Rigor not to ruin her life since Roman doesn’t know that she had a baby.
Roman second-guesses Carlos as he tries to explain how TigerShark’s revenue could increase once Bianca wins the gold medal in the upcoming triathlon. Vicky makes a pretty pathetic attempt to buy Rigor’s silence with money. Rigor says he’s lonely and only wants to spend time with her.
Gabriel informs Bianca about Jojo’s offer and she convinces him to join the race. Later while they’re walking home together and conversing happily, Carlos sees them and isn’t pleased. Out of jealousy, he orders Simeon to schedule a one week training session for him and Bianca in Batangas.
Jojo brings Gabriel to a coach who decides to let him join his team after testing his skills and potential.Bianca is unsettled when Carlos informs her about the training she supposedly has to undergo in Batangas. Roman isn’t pleased to learn that his son plans to abandon his duties as president of TigerShark to personally train his endorser.
Carlos pathetically tries to convince him. Gabriel excitedly informs his grandma about the triathlon and when Rigor learns of it, he has nothing better to say than to ridicule his “son” and proceed with his pathetic plan to get a job in order to be “worthy” of the woman he løvës.
Upon learning that Isabel plans to join the race, Carlos blackmails her out of it. Later, Carlos goes to pick up Bianca and she bids goodbye to her family. Gabriel is worked up since he’s not been able to reach Bianca on the phone for a while now.
It turns out that Carlos has taken Bianca to a dead spot with no cellphone reception so that she can supposedly focus on training. Pathetic much. Rigor manages to secure a job as a salesman and he drops by the Dela Vega Building to see Victoria, flaunting the collared shirt he’s wearing.
Vicky actually berates him when he compares himself to her husband Roman. As fate will have it, Roman arrives at the office and when Vicky spots him, she tells him sweet nothings to Rigor in order to get rid of him.
Eventually, Roman notices them and after Rigor leaves, he comes over to question his wife about the guy she had been talking to. Vicky claims he was just a salesman who wanted to sell her a vacuum cleaner.
