The Dëäths Of Homer, Lucas & Anton. President Hidalgo Regains Power. The Capture & Freedom Of Cardo & The Vendetta.
Homer “Scorpion” (Alakdan) Adlawan is one of the recurring antagonists in Brothers (FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano). He’s the leader of the Venom (Kamandag) Group and an ally of Renato Hipolito.
Throughout his stint in Brothers, he’s taken pleasure in k!lling several people, enemies and allies alike, including Cardo Dalisay’s son Ricky Boy, General Oligario’s son Joel, General Alejandro Terante, Romulo Dumaguit among others.
He’s codenamed “Scorpion” because he hides his identity while destroying innocent people. He is considered one of the most violent villains in the show, due to how he had k!lled major characters and massacred the innocent.
Homer was a trigger-happy member of the Bløødy Sun, a rebel group dedicated to fighting for freedom. However, his greed and lust for power led him to conspire with then Director Renato Hipolito in his dirty schemes, which mostly resulted in flat-out chaos or the massacre of innocent lives.
Lucas Cabrera, one of the worst villains in Brothers (Ang Probinsyano), was the head of the Cabrera Family and the incumbent Vice President to President Oscar Hidalgo. They were supposedly best friends, both at the same party.
However, because Oscar always refused to grant Lucas any favors that went against his morals and principles, Lucas decided to get rid of him by attempting to assassinate him along with his family, with the sole purpose of becoming the next President and ensuring Brandon’s release from jail. His diabolic plans succeeded up to a certain point until Cardo managed to rescue President Hidalgo who later joined their cause and mission.
The ultimate løver of money and power, and the tormentor and executor of anyone who went against him, Lucas orchestrated countless mürdërs of innocent people, including the kidñappiñg and tørtüre of his detractors, the annihilation of Patrick’s entire family and Makmak.
Homer had several encounters with Cardo but always managed to get away. He was good in hand-to-hand combat, power-hungry, and dreamt of k!llng Cardo and marrying Bubbles in his lifetime. After k!lling Romulo during the encounter in Santo Niño, he kidñäpped General Oligario and Bubbles.
Following Brandon’s demise, Lucas gave the order for his private army to k!ll every family member of Cardo’s family. Team Billy managed to rescue the Dalisays but unfortunately, Makamak sacrificed himself to protect Grandma Flora. This tragedy paved the way for Cardo and Alyana to be reunited with their respective families.
Hell-bent on avenging the dëäths of his sons, Lucas decided to bait Vendetta with Diana and Bubbles, despite Homer’s attempts to save the latter due to her pregnancy. Lucas secured Makmak’s corpse, while preparing for Brandon’s funeral. However, a motivated Cardo used himself as diversion, letting Alyana, Jerome and Rigor into the morgue to get Makmak’s body.
A güñ battle ensued between our favorite hero and the Cabrera henchmen, and the rest of Vendetta helped Cardo finish them off before making a successful escape with the casket that contained Makmak’s remains.
With the help of their treacherous frenemy, Lily Ann Cortez, Cardo and the Vendetta managed to track down Renato Hipolito’s hideout. Acting on her own treacherous ambitions and lust for power, Lily showed Vendetta where Renato’s hideout is.
Cardo and the members of Vendetta then stormed the house and a güñ battle broke out between them and Homer’s Venom dëäth squad. Bubbles was rescued by Jerome while Diana was rescued by Rigor. All this time, our favorite hero dueled it out with Homer.
Ultimately, Cardo served vengeance for Diana’s son, Joel, Romulo and Ricky Boy and the other countless victims by shøøting Homer three times, executing him on the spot.The Vendetta then plotted to disrupt Brandon’s funeral and finish Lucas Cabrera once and for all.
However, they were betrayed by Lily who called Renato to tip him off about the ättaçk. During Brandon’s funeral, the people demonstrated against the Cabrera administration for justice for Makmak’s dëäth. Lily was absent from the cemetery, playing safe from both sides.
As Lucas and his convoy left, Vendetta intercepted them. A firefight then ensued and some members of Vendetta got wounded as they walked right into the ambush.Anton saved Diana from being shot by Renato and he was güññed down instead.
Ultimately, Cardo k!lled Lucas while Diana also shot Hipolito, and the vigilante group left him for dead and retreated. The news of Lucas’ dëäth was received with great joy all over the country, and rallies supporting Vendetta was organized.
Cardo and Vendetta returned to the hideout where they mourned Anton’s dëäth. President Hidalgo suggested that they surrender to the authorities, but when they refused, he was forced to betray them. A battalion of policemen arrived to arrest them, infuriating the vigilantes who were more than ready to fight to the dëäth.
However, Grandma Flora pleaded with her grandson and managed to convince him to surrender and put an end to the bløødshed. Cardo and Vendetta then gave themselves up peacefully. The entire country rejoiced when they learnt of the return of President Hidalgo.
After Oscar was sworn in again, he revealed to the media about Lucas’ crimes and the noble cause of the Vendetta. Meanwhile, another storm begins to brew as it is revealed that Renato actually survived the latest encounter with Vendetta, and he was helped by Lily.
Hipolito stays in hiding while recuperating. He desires to cause chaos once again, but Lily has other plans. Just as she used Vendetta to ensure Lucas’ downfall, so too will she use him for her own personal use. Vendetta was brought before court to face their punishment regarding the rebellion cases the government filed against them, which they plead guilty.
Purges and arrests against Cabrera’s allies begin after Oscar assumes the Presidency, starting from VP Hernandez and Secretary Damien O’campo. They confessed to their crimes and gave up their other partners in crime, and they too were arrested.
The country was given another reason to rejoice when President Hidalgo finally fulfilled his promise by granting presidential pardon to Cardo and Vendetta, thus, ensuring their freedom.
Makmak was cremated, and Cardo returned home with his family and comrades to pick up the pieces of their lives. Meanwhile, a task force was created to pursue other members of Lucas Cabrera’s remnant circle and capture Renato Hipolito.
