Carlos Begins To Follow In His Father’s Footsteps. Rigor Continues To Frustrate Gabriel. Victoria Covers Her Tracks. Carlos Prepares A Surprise For Bianca. Gabriel Plans To Court Bianca.
Bianca informs her family about the change of plans regarding her upcoming birthday celebration and when Ben suggests that they take Lola Lydia and Gabriel along with them to the event, she teases him. Bianca notes that Carlos had already agreed to let them come and she brings up how Rigor had returned home from jail.
Maila says she’s glad Gabriel hadn’t taken after his rotten father. Speaking of, Gabriel checks out his savings at home and looks forward to enrolling next semester if possible. Lydia gladly insists on supporting him and offers to make mango empanadas for Bianca’s birthday.
In the meantime, Rigor hangs out with his drinking buddies and blabbers nonstop about his undying løvë for Victoria. The guys taunt Rigor with Victoria’s wealthy and scary husband and how he could have him k!lled or sent to jail if he bothers his wife.
Meanwhile, Roman questions his wife about the cheque she had issued at work earlier and she tries to make him believe that it was a donation for an orphanage. Roman demands for the receipt and Vicky makes a show of searching for it, eventually claiming that she might have replaced it.
Roman then tells her to get another copy of the receipt. Rigor returns home to continue his irresponsible drinking and he urges Gabriel to join him. Gabriel discreetly pours the alcoholic drink away while his father continues to get more drunk.
Rigor begins mumbling about how the løvë of his life had replaced him with “some rich bästärd”. Thinking that he’s talking about his mother, Gabriel tries to press him for details all to no avail. Since Victoria couldn’t get the non-existent receipt, she decides to pay back with her own money.
However, Roman rejects it and insists on getting the receipt for the donation she had supposedly made. At the Villorias, Gabriel makes the mistake of asking the sorry excuse of his father about the things he had said last night and the misëräble guy throws a fit and demands that he leave him alone.
Lydia comes upon the scene and when she later asks her son why he’s so distant toward Gabriel, Rigor answers with sarcasm and indifference.Lydia asks Rigor about who Gabriel’s mother is and he evades the question. Gabriel pays a visit to Bianca at home to confide in her about his strained relationship with his father.
Bianca gives him some sound counsel and promises not to ever leave him again. At the Olaveri Compound, Lydia pesters Rigor for information about Gabriel’s mother and he tells her that she had died after abandoning the baby. Out of nowhere comes Maila and her father Ben for an impromptu visit.
Rigor is unsettled but recovers as the Agbayanis come over to exchange greetings and to catch up. Back home, Bianca tells Gabriel about the conflict with their plans and he gladly agrees to join her at the sports camp to celebrate her birthday. Gabriel is in the process of finally confessing his feelings for Bianca when they get interrupted yet again, this time by Jay Jay.
At the airport terminal, Isabel in the company of her cousin Derek, waits for the arrival of her mother Sandra and half-sister Steph. They soon arrive and after tolerating the pleasantries, Isabel treats them with indifference, saying that she’s getting late for work.
Gabriel goes to make some inquiries to enroll in a particular school. He’s hopeful of getting in since he can make a down payment and settle the rest of the fees in monthly installments. Isabel brings her family to her house and her mother assures her that she would return home again soon after finishing up some work abroad.
Isabel is reluctant to take in her half-sister and as Sandra strives to talk her into it, she receives a phone call from Carlos and snubs her to leave for work. At TigerShark, Carlos unleashes his frustrations on Simeon his assistant for not having the events logo printed on the board on time.
Isabel arrives and receives her fair share of the scolding as Roman observes from outside the office. Ultimately, Carlos threatens to fire everyone if they don’t fix the mistake. Roman has a ridiculous look on his face as if to say, “That’s my son. Now he takes after me”.
Anyway, Maila has a talk with his father about how Rigor seems to have changed. Simeon soon shows up to deliver some clothes the Agbayanis would have to wear for the sports camp. Victoria finally handed Roman the receipt of the 300,000 pesos donation she had supposedly made, successfully covering her tracks for now.
Gabriel returns home with some new clothes he had bought for his grandma and himself and his father too. He excitedly mentions his plan to court Bianca and Lydia shares in his joy. At TigerShark, Carlos orders Simeon to remove Gabriel and his family from the guest list of the event.
Bianca confronts her brother for scoring 7 out of 100% in his algebra exams after all the time she had spent tutoring him. Jay Jay merely pleads with her not to tell their mother about it. Maila comes upon the scene and she’s left in absolute disbelief to learn of her son’s depressing exams mark.
Maila lectures Jay Jay and charges him to get his act together and Bianca strives to calm her down. With work done for the day, Roman finds his son asleep in the conference room and he goes to wake him up and urges him to go home and get some proper sleep. The next morning, Simeon finalizes the preparations Carlos had ordered to surprise Bianca on her birthday.
Carlos shows up and charges him to make sure that Gabriel isn’t present. Meanwhile, Gabriel gets dressed up and waits for his grandma to wrap up the gift they had gotten for Bianca. Rigor resolves to belittle and berate Maila and Bianca and he begins to throw a childish tantrum when Gabriel defends them.
Bianca has a talk with her mother about the inspirational speech they’re slated to give to the kids and the participants of the sports camp event. Following a dramatic goodbye between her mother and stepsister, Isabel grudgingly decides to take Steph along to the sports camp. The Villorias arrive at the event, only to be told that their names aren’t on the guest list.
Isabel then comes over and after confirming them as Bianca’s visitors, she proceeds to take them to the standby area she had prepared for them. Rigor observes as Victoria stands by her husband Roman who happens to be giving an interview to promote TigerShark’s event. Victoria turns and freezes for a moment in shock when she sets her eyes on Rigor.
