Rigor Returns To Trouble Gabriel. Gabriel Plans A Romantic Date With Bianca To Confess His Feelings. Carlos Becomes A Stumbling Block. Roman Deliberately Makes The Save For His Own Agenda.
Carlos plans to promote TigerShark by carrying out some sort of outreach program focused on public schools and underprivileged kids around Metro Manila. He asks Simeon for Bianca’s profile to study and Simeon insinuates that he wants to get to know her better for his own sake and not the company’s. Carlos shuts him up with the threat of firing him.
Jay Jay notifies his mother that he needs to pay his school fees because his exams are coming up. Maila scolds him for not telling her earlier and Bianca resolves to pay for it when she gets her next allowance. Apparently, she doesn’t want to dip into the savings she’s been making for her mother’s operation so she doesn’t have to walk with crutches any more.
Victoria reflects on the unfortunate incident that had befallen Maila during their days on the Philippine Team and the part Rigor had played in it, hell-bent on making sure that the latter doesn’t destroy all the dreams she’s worked so hard to fulfill. She vows to make sure that no one finds out about her little dirty secret.
Upon her return to the Dela Vega Building, Roman confronts his wife on account of being unable to reach her on the phone for a while now and Victoria feeds him with the crappy story of how she’s been getting tons of spam calls and texts.
Rigor finally manages to track down his mother at her workplace at the market and Lydia is delighted to reunite with him. She then introduces Gabriel to him as his son.Rigor treats Gabriel with indifference and reveals to his mother how he had been framed and imprisoned.
When he asks of where they’re staying so he can go and rest, an emotional Gabriel offers to show him the place but Rigor discards him and has Lydia go with him instead. Later, Gabriel tells his co-workers about his intention to court Bianca and he gets teased for it.
At home, Lydia catches up with Rigor and goes on about how hard working and smart his son is. Rigor doesn’t really seem to be listening or interested to know anything about Gabriel. Speaking of, Gabriel informs Bianca about the return of his father and Bianca can’t seem to understand why he doesn’t seem happy about it.
Gabriel says he’s grateful to God for making all his prayers come true and he agrees to bring his father over to their house for a visit soon so Maila could see him. Gabriel then brings up Bianca’s upcoming birthday and he proposes that they go out together because he has something to tell her.
Rigor reluctantly let’s Gabriel join him after serving him some tea and bread at home. Gabriel brings up his time on the Philippine Team and his excitement is cut short when Rigor begins to belittle him because he’s over 20 years old and hasn’t graduated yet.
To add insult to injury, he also taunts and ridicules him for not taking after him. While Gabriel continues to juggle his jobs, Carlos informs Bianca about the sports day camp for the awareness of TigerShark’s brand.Bianca is excited for it until she learns that the event will be on March 19.
Since everything is already set, she asks if it is a whole day event and Carlos asks if she has a date or something. Bianca gives him the silent treatment. Later, Gabriel calls Bianca from home and they both talk about how they had been thinking of each other on account of the pre-rainy weather.
They then talk about the plans they had made for Bianca’s birthday and as Gabriel works up the nerve to tell her something, the call suddenly gets disconnected. Unbelievable. He’s just ran out of credit. In her room at home, Bianca urges Marilyn to let her borrow her phone but she playfully refuses to do so.
At the Villorias, Olsen teases Gabriel as he tells him to buy his own phone already. Carlos has a talk with Isabel and another employee of his about the sports camp event. He goes on about how he wants to highlight Bianca’s efforts to teach the children and oversee the training of the participants and Isabel throws him shade.
Also, he reveals his plan to surprise Bianca on her birthday, saying that it’ll be good publicity for TigerShark. Clearly upset, Isabel refuses to do anything about it so Carlos decides to take care of the birthday. Bianca strives to teach her little brother algebra at home and Maila comes over to lecture him on his attitude.
Bianca gives her mother some money to pay the utility bills and she reveals the sports camp event she would be going to. Ben and Maila are saddened that they can’t surprise her anymore on her birthday. Bianca brings up her plans with Gabriel later that night and proposes that they all celebrate together.
Gabriel works overtime in order to make Bianca’s birthday special and his co-workers tease him with it and offer their candid suggestions. Roman is reluctant to approve the budget for TigerShark’s sports camp since it’s too much and when Carlos offers to shoulder the expenses himself, he gives him a talking-to.
Roman asks his son to slash thirty percent and only after that will he approve the budget. Also, he has to take his mother with him as a resource person. Lydia prepares dinner for the family and Gabriel makes the mistake of going to wake his wretçhed father from sleep.
Rigor grabs Gabriel violently as soon as he wakes up and after Lydia quickly comes to restore order, he offers some lame-ass apology to a stunned Gabriel. Lydia then explains to his grandson how his father usually becomes very violent when his sleep is interrupted. Rigor justifies his actions and charges Gabriel not to ever wake him up again.
After going for running practice, Isabel laments to her cousin Derek about Carlos’ plans for Bianca and how her mother is coming back to the country with her half-sister Steph whom she’s not happy to babysit. At work, Lydia urges her grandson not to get upset with his father regarding yesterday’s incident but to give it a few more days for them to get along.
Bianca discovers the activity schedule for the sports camp and she’s surprised and unsettled to see that it would last until the evening. When she asks Carlos about it and mentions how she already has plans to celebrate her birthday with her family and friends, he tells her to just bring them all along.
Even Gabriel? Nah, Carlos doesn’t want Gabriel to come though and Roman eavesdrops on their conversation for a while before coming into the office and telling Carlos to attend a ball tomorrow night on his behalf. Much to his disbelief, Roman bluntly tells Bianca to take her “boyfriend” to the event and Carlos hopelessly tries to protest as Bianca sits there uncomfortably.
