Carlos Persistently Pursues Bianca While Spying On Her & Gabriel. Isabel Schemes Against Bianca. After Bianca’s Rejection, Carlos Picks A Fight With Gabriel. Rigor Regains His Freedom & Begins Stalking Victoria.
Bianca takes her swimming practice and since her form is inconsistent, Carlos personally shows her how to do her strokes properly. Bianca pulls away after a while, somewhat uncomfortable with having body contact with him. Thanks to Olsen, Gabriel gets another means of making more money through fishing.
Gabriel leaves his buddy in charge of the mango stall to get to his dinner date with Bianca at Crave Park. He’s reluctant to order so Bianca resolves to do so for the both of them. Gabriel apologizes to her for the inconvenience and promises to treat her out once he gets all his paychecks from his jobs.
Bianca urges him to stop worrying and she begins asking about himself and his studies, worried about the jobs he’s been juggling. Gabriel assures Bianca that he can handle it since he needs to save up for school, jokingly reminding her that he’s Superman.
They proceed to have dinner together and they recount how they had missed each other during all those years apart. When Gabriel mentions that Bianca brings him good luck, she teases him, saying that he’s only saying that because he’s drunk on food.
Carlos pulls over nearby and observes them in disbelief, even as a fan of Bianca shows up to take a selfie with her. Later, Gabriel walks Bianca home and reiterates his promise to make it up to her and Carlos spies on them. Gabriel soon returns home all smiles and Olsen teases him with how Marilyn had told him that he’s courting Bianca.
Carlos hangs out with Simeon at the bar to drink away his sorrows. He’s indifferent about the history Bianca and Gabriel have together, stating that he’s surpassed Gabriel: he says he’s done more for Bianca within the short period he’s known her.
On this note, Carlos makes a solemn vow not to lose to “someone like Gabriel”. Speaking of, Gabriel is teased by his family about his relationship with Bianca. While he takes on the part-time fishing job, Simeon assures Carlos that per his request, he had delivered some flowers to Bianca at her home.
Isabel comes over and begins taunting him with how Bianca doesn’t like him. She then makes a pathetic attempt to rekindle their former relationship but Carlos wants nothing to do with her anymore. Gabriel treats Bianca to some roadside snacks and she commends him for being able to juggle three jobs.
When asked whether Carlos is courting her, Bianca reveals how she had already rejected him. Gabriel plays it cool and mutters to himself, saying that “may the best man win”.
Bianca asks what he just said and Gabriel quickly changes the topic.
Bianca is pretty restless at home and ironically, she actually asks her younger brother about what boys do when they’re courting someone. Jay Jay makes her spill the beans regarding what Gabriel had said earlier after learning that Carlos had courted her.
In not so many words, little brother declares that Gabriel really likes big sister. Bianca pretends not to hear so Jay Jay takes pleasure in repeating his statement much louder now. Bianca can’t seem to understand why Gabriel can’t already tell her in person like Carlos did and Jay Jay tells her to take the initiative.
Bianca is appalled at the idea and she scolds her little brother, stating that it’s the guys who should be courting the girls and not the other way round. Later, Bianca is brushing up on her spoken English language when Marilyn hurries over excitedly with flowers that had just been delivered.
Unlike her friend, Bianca isn’t enthused when she realizes that the flowers are from Carlos. In the meantime, Gabriel continues to juggle jobs to save up money. Carlos asks Bianca about the flowers he had sent her and she actually tells him that she had given it as an offering to the church. Ouch.
Carlos downplays the matter and as fate will have it, he later runs into Gabriel on his way out of the training facility. Carlos unleashes his frustrations on Gabriel as he confronts him for showing up there again. He literally calls him “stüpïd” and an “idïøt”, declaring that he (Carlos) is Bianca’s future and can give her everything he (Gabriel) can’t.
To spite him, Gabriel gets in his face and taunts him with how Bianca had rejected him. Carlos snaps and punches him and that’s the beginning of a ridiculous fistfight for the ages.
Gabriel takes pleasure in beating up arrogant boss Carlos before some guys eventually hurry over to break things up. Upon his return home, Roman scolds his son when he notices his bruised up face.
Gabriel gets reprimanded by his grandma as well and she charges him not to turn out like his father. Marilyn excitedly informs Bianca about how Gabriel and Carlos had fought because of her. A moment later, Bianca pays Gabriel a visit at his workplace to check up on him and ask what had really happened.
Gabriel recounts the incident to her and apologizes, saying that he had been compelled to fight back because Carlos had hit him first. Bianca is exasperated. At TigerShark, Bianca heads into Carlos’ office to question him about the incident and as Isabel listens in, Carlos justifies his actions and declares that he would never stop fighting for her.
In no time, Isabel confronts Bianca and makes it a point to belittle and berate her and Bianca puts her in her place. As Gabriel strives to make up with his grandma, she recounts how she had failed to give his father Rigor the needed constant guidance. In prison, Rigor is delighted to learn that the officers who have been blocking his parole have been replaced with new ones.
Since he has a clean track record in jail, his parole is soon granted. Rigor doesn’t waste time to pack up his stuff and one of his guys hands him a note with a phone number written on it.Gabriel asks Bianca if Carlos has been taking out his anger on her and she assures him that it isn’t so.
To ease his worries, Bianca assures Gabriel that she would quit right away if Carlos starts making things personal. Gabriel hopes it doesn’t come to that. Rigor buys some food in town and proceeds to call the Dela Vega Building to ask to speak with Victoria.
Though he doesn’t give his name to the receptionist, Vicky figures who the caller is so she doesn’t bother to answer. At the local gym, Olsen has a talk with another guy called Jo about how Carlos Dela Vega is Gabriel’s rival in regards to Bianca.
Isabel bitçhës to her cousin Derek about how she can never lose to Bianca and Derek agrees to help with her sinister scheme. Jo offers to help Gabriel beat Carlos and dethrone him from being the country’s top athlete since he knows a lot of triathletes.
However, Gabriel tells him that he doesn’t have time for that. Jo then says that he knows where to find him in case he needs his help. During an awarding event at the Dela Vega Building, Roman gives a speech to congratulate the awardees. A moment later, he waits outside with his wife for their car to arrive.
Victoria receives a text message from Rigor which seems to throw her off. When Roman asks what’s wrong, she claims it’s merely another scam text, adding that she needs to change her number. The car finally arrives and as the Dela Vega couple get in and are driven away, Rigor comes out of hiding, looking on with sinister intent.
