The Vendetta Receive Bad Press. Gapuz & Panting Escape. Cardo & His Comrades Seek Refuge With An Ally. Diana Faces Off With Homer. Brandon Schemes Against His Enemies.
Cardo leads the members of Vendetta through the market neighborhood and eventually, he asks some random woman about where he can find a former colleague of his by name Rolando Reyes, a.k.a Lando. Damien shows his bruised up face to President Cabrera and goes on about how Brandon is a ticking time bømb and the cause of half of their problems.
Having heard enough, Lucas shuts up his secretary, declaring that he would take care of the matter. At the precinct, the media question grandma Flora about the ättaçk on her and her family and she recounts the details. Councilor Gina watches the live broadcast with her lackeys and plans to find new protectors for her illegal businesses.
Flora is asked about the massacre in Santo Niño and the supposed involvement of her grandson and his group. She’s left speechless as some officers ward off the press. Meanwhile, our favorite hero and his companions are led to the house of Lando and the guy receives them warmly and gets surprised at the sight of President Hidalgo and General Borja.
Lando glances at the other guys and realizes that they’re the infamous Vendetta. At the Palace, Brandon makes a pathetic attempt to have his despicable father finish off Damien. Lucas charges wretçhed son to hold back his anger and apologize because secretary O’Campo is one of the few people he can trust in their current situation.
News of the massacre in Santo Niño begins to spread across the country and Homer gloats over how Cardo and the Vendetta are being blamed for it. The Arevalos watch the news of Lucas’ act at their hideout and JP mentions that the rotten president is just using the situation to ruin the reputation of Cardo and his comrades.
As always, Virgie begins to worry about the safety of her daughter. In the meantime, Lando is inclined not to believe in the bad reports about the vigilante group. After Cardo and the others reveal the mission they’re on, Lando agrees to help them out in spite of how dangerous their situation is.
Gapuz and Panting, now CIDG detainees, plan to figure out a way to get out of the mess they’re in. Citizens all over the country discuss among themselves about the massacre that had occurred in Santo Niño: some are inclined to believe in the negative reports incriminating the Vendetta while others continue to believe that the enemies of the honorable vigilante group are just trying to make them look bad.
At home, grandma Flora and her family watch a news report of how President Cabrera had addressed the press in Santo Niño and blamed Cardo and Vendetta. Elmo in particular berates Lucas and speculates that he might have ordered the massacre and blamed it on Cardo and his group.
Flora also believes that the evil Cabreras had something to do with the horrible incident and hopes that they get stripped of their power. Brandon offers a lame apology to Damien in the presence of President Cabrera and VP Hernandez. Lucas urges them to stay united to deal with Vendetta.
Hipolito soon joins them and Lucas gloats over how people are now preoccupied with the Santo Niño massacre, stating that they need to maintain the matter and finally capture Cardo and the Vendetta. Bubbles informs Diana about the incident at the mines and she declares that Lucas and Renato will eventually pay for each life they took in Santo Niño: in time, Homer will also pay for the dëäth of Romulo.
At the Palace, Hipolito assures greedy Lucas that Lily Ann would carry out his order of collecting double the protection fee from the çriminal syndicates. Lucas later has a talk with Brandon and offers to give him another chance to prove himself: he’s free to eliminate all of their enemies except the Vendetta.
Homer taunts Diana with how Vendetta’s reputation has gone down in the eyes of the public, stating that their days are numbered. To spite him, Diana gets in his face and vows not to leave him breathing if she manages to escape. Homer snaps and tries to go at her with his güñ but Bubbles holds him off.
Homer then cautions Diana not to piss him off if she doesn’t want to die before Hipolito gives the order.Alyana has a talk with Cardo about contacting their family and our favorite hero points out the fact that they would be in even more danger if their enemies find out.
Alyana eventually goes to get some air. Lando cooks something for his guests and proceeds to strike up a conversation with our favorite hero about the tough situation he’s in. Cardo makes a solemn vow to get President Hidalgo back into power and rescue their other comrades no matter what.
Lando recounts how the son of President Cabrera had k!lled Mayor Dimagiba. During their transport to the city jail, the police convoy carrying Gapuz and Panting is ambushed and ättaçked by some scoundrels.
The rotten cops manage to escape in the ensuing chaos but are eventually caught by the goons. In the meantime, Soriano recounts to Jerome the times he had worked with Lando and Cardo. A flashback shows how our favorite hero had singlehandedly taken on some armed robbers at a bank.
Jerome recounts how he had become friends with Cardo through their rivalry on Glen’s account. He then brings up their current situation , hoping that they can succeed in their mission so peace can finally return to the country. Team Billy get word about the abdüçtion of Gapuz and Panting and they’re inclined to believe that the Cabreras are trying to tie up loose ends.
Gapuz and Panting are dragged along to meet their puppet master and they plead for their lives and swear not to fail him again. Brandon agrees to give them another chance since they share a common enemy. Billy notifies Teddy about the disappearances of the rotten cops.
Cardo heads to the rooftop of the building and begins to look around. Inside, Lando has a talk with Alyana about his time with Cardo on the force and she thanks him for letting them stay at his place.
Our favorite hero takes in the view of Manila in it’s entirely from the rooftop, silently brooding by himself. Lily Ann finally arrives at the Palace with the protection fees and she exchanges greetings with Hipolito before carrying on with him into the office of the president.
