At the police station, P03 Jude Bartholome secretly checked some files at the office, going against the orders of his superior. A fellow officer called him out for lunch and he let out a sigh of relief because he thought he had been caught. At the Tejada residence, Kristoff is on his way out of the house when his father Bernard mentions that he looks overdressed for Cassie’s operation.
Kristoff says he would first go to the studio event with Marga to work on a brand they would be endorsing before coming to the hospital. He then asked his father to take care of Cassie and Romina. Bernard says he will: now that Romina and Carlos seem close, he is afraid that Daniela might create some problems again.
At the event, Mikoy notices that Marga seems nervous and when he asks her about it, she denies it and begins bragging about the countless events she’s attended. She says if Mikoy is there to tease her, then it would be better for him to wait outside. As Mikoy turns to leave, Marga stops him and asks him to check if her parents have arrived yet. She mentions the promise they had made her and Mikoy assures her that they would come.
Just then Kristoff passed by to the dressing room and Marga followed him and told him that she is glad he came. They both decide to give their best shot, a make up artist asks Kristoff to sit for his make up. Mikoy looks at them sadly from behind. Poor guy. Marga calls her father to ask if they are coming and Carlos tells her that he is on his way. Carlos is actually at the hospital and when he asks if Daniela has arrived, Marga replies in the negative.
Back at the police station, Jude he reads out some statements concerning Romina’s räpë case and he is shocked at a statement from one of the nurses which seemed to suggest that Robert might be the räpïst. At the hospital, Romina is furious since Daniela cannot be found anywhere. Carlos tells her that he doesn’t know the whereabouts of his dear wife either.
Meanwhile, Daniela is at the office with Savannah and Mrs Galvez, talking about Daniela’s presentation to the board of directors which isn’t ready yet. They panic because they might end up in jail if they don’t present it since they have already spent the money.Romina calls Bonita on the phone and she confirms that Daniela is still at Camila. As Jude comes out of the office, a guy spies on him and informs Hector on the phone about it.
Hector orders the goon to tail Jude so they will know how far he is on his investigations. Carlos comes to the office to remind Daniela about Cassie’s operation and they both end up in a heated argument about the deal they had made, that is, Carlos will come back to her when she donates blood for Cassie. At the event Kristoff, is disturbed by the news he received from his father concerning Daniela’s failure to show up for the blood donation for Cassie. He disgraced himself on stage and even walked out of stage.
Jude pays Daniela a visit, asking her about Robert’s whereabouts the next morning after Romina’s räpë. Danniela tells him some lies before he leaves. Marga is pretty upset with Kristoff’s behavior on stage earlier, and when Mikoy tried to console her, she told him to stay in his limits as her assistant. Declaring that he’s done being her assistant, Mikoy walks out on her.
Romina goes to a television/Radio station to make an announcement in hopes of getting a blood donor for Cassie. Daniela calls Hector and informs him about Jude’s visit. Carlos finally shows up at the event and as usual Marga isn’t happy since he is late.Daniela calls Romina and tells her that she will agree to donate for Cassie only under one condition, Mina asks her about the condition. Daniela finally shows up and says “Transfer everything you inherited from Dad and leave our lives for good.”
Mina says she will give her everything just to save her daughter. Daniela looks smugly. A moment later, Mina comes to Daniela who is still on the hospital bed. Daniela reminds her of their deal and also does not tell Carlos about it. Romina breaks the deal with Bernard and her brother Neil, and they both now understand why Daniela suddenly changed her mind. Mina then asked Bernard to transfer everything into Daniela’s name.
