Maila Confronts Victoria & Roman.
A Misfortune Befalls Gabriel & His Companions. Bianca’s Plans With Gabriel Gets Ruined. Roman Frustrates Carlos’ Efforts.
Roman leaves with his wife after Gabriel’s interruption but not before telling Carlos that “they’re not done”. As Carlos goes after his father, Gabriel checks on Bianca who assures him that she’s fine. Olsen urges his buddy to give Bianca the flowers he had gotten for her, only for Carlos to return and insist that they get the hell out of there because they’re interrupting their training.
Gabriel says his goodbyes to Bianca before resuming with Olsen to make their deliveries, worried about how Bianca seems to be having a hard time. Meanwhile, Bianca questions Carlos about how he had lied to her, plus the unfriendly encounter between his dad earlier. Carlos justifies his actions but eventually promises not to keep anymore secrets from her.
During the drive back home, Victoria argues with her husband about the severe way he’s been treating their son and Roman notes that he’s hard on him because he wants him to succeed. Isabel has an exchange of opinions with Carlos about Bianca’s endorsement, second-guessing his decisions and aspirations.
However, Carlos is confident that he wouldn’t lose so he urges Isabel to help him make it work. While Gabriel informs his grandma about how he had seen Roman scolding Bianca earlier, Bianca also tells her family about the unfriendly encounter with Carlos’ father.
She’s more determined to succeed now that she knows what’s at stake, and Maila insists on going to talk with Victoria about the matter. Bianca continues with her training and looks forward to improving and proving Roman wrong. Carlos urges her not to stress herself too much because he believes in her.
At the Dela Vega Building, Maila approaches Victoria to talk to her about how Roman had scolded her daughter. Once Roman shows up, she introduces herself as Bianca’s mother and his wife’s best friend during their time on the Philippine Team. Roman is taken by surprise for a moment.
Stating that he’s busy, he snubs Maila when she tries to talk to him about the matter before having her escorted outside. He then confronts his wife about her supposed friendship with Maila and Victoria declares that it had been a long time ago.
Gabriel and Bianca talk on the phone about their photoshoot and project respectively. During the shoot, Isabel begins ranting nonstop about the bad lightning and how Bianca keeps on smiling as she’s being photographed.
Carlos gives her a piece of his mind and reminds her that it’s her job to make the campaign work so she if she sees something wrong, then she should fix it. After Carlos leaves Isabel in charge of everything, she calls over the stylist and begins lecturing him as Bianca looks on.
While Gabriel makes his business plan presentation, Carlos also presents his next move to the board and like always, his father second-guesses how he’s going to launch his endorser. Simultaneously, Carlos and Gabriel make deliberate efforts to pitch their ideas to their audiences.
Roman literally belittles Carlos and demands that he study his plans carefully before presenting them to him. Fortunately, Gabriel happens to get the highest mark in his project presentation. Roman refuses to approve Carlos’ budget for his campaign as he makes it crystal clear that he doesn’t believe in it.
Gabriel talks to Bianca on the phone and informs her of how he’s planning on coming to Manila later to look for his boss. Apparently, he and his colleagues at the mango farm haven’t been paid for a while now and neither have they been able to get into contact with Boss Atong.
Bianca gladly plans to meet up with Gabriel later so they could catch up. Later at TigerShark, Bianca pays off a small portion of her salary loan with her allowance.Carlos approaches Bianca and offers to treat her to dinner but she gently turns him down, saying that she already has plans with Gabriel. Boss Carlos is stunned.
As fate will have it, some officials show up at the mango farm with a letter from the municipal hall. They reveal that the bank has foreclosed the property because Atong had pawned it and failed to pay the dues. On this note, Gabriel and his colleagues would have to leave the property soon.
Isabel pitches an idea to Carlos about making a promotional music video about making his dreams come true and including shots of Bianca while she’s training. To add to that, she excitedly proposes that they advertise online so they wouldn’t have to spend a thing.
Carlos agrees with the proposal and Isabel gloats over how she’s indispensable.Bianca informs her family about her friendly date with Gabriel at Crave Park and they begin teasing her with it. Speaking of, Gabriel arrives at Boss Atong’s house in the company of Olsen only to learn that the house had also been foreclosed by the bank.
Reportedly, Atong had gone into hiding after incurring debts on account of his gambling problem. Olsen worries about how they would be able to make ends meet and Gabriel assures him that they would figure something out.
Gabriel finally remembers his plans with Bianca and he sets off for the park with Olsen, and he begins to worry about how he doesn’t have enough money. As if things could get any worse, they end up getting stuck in traffic. Bianca has been waiting at the food park for Gabriel for more than two hours.
Some young ladies recognize her as the newbie who had won second place in the triathlon so they take a selfie with her and excitedly go on about their admiration for her. Carlos asks Simeone about the location of Crave Park and soon sets off for the place.
Desperate to get to Bianca, Gabriel ditches Olsen and strives to get a more convenient ride. Bianca is waiting by the roadside when a cab accidentally splashes water on her. The rain begins to fall and as she struggles to get her umbrella to open, Carlos suddenly shows up to shelter her with his umbrella. He then manages to convince her to go and eat somewhere else with him.
Gabriel shows up a critical moment after they’ve left. Though Bianca has reservations about Gabriel’s inability to show up, Carlos makes deliberate efforts to badmouth him for being a no-show all the same and leaving her out to dry. While Olsen has a talk with Gabriel about the very same matter, Carlos drops off Bianca at home.
The next morning, Gabriel apologizes to Bianca on the phone and she recounts her encounter with Carlos last night. Gabriel seems affected for some reason and hopes that he and Bianca can meet again soon. Bianca shares the same sentiment. Unfortunately, the mango farm is officially closed by some officers, leaving the workers distressed.
At TigerShark, Isabel overhears Carlos telling Simeone about how he had helped out Bianca last night. When she confronts him about it, Carlos claims that he’s only trying to protect his investment. Isabel sees through his act and deduces that he actually likes Bianca. Gabriel begins taking on petty jobs with Olsen and strives to get some for their other companions.
During a board meeting, majority of the shareholders of the company decide to pull out their investment in TigerShark since it’s not experienced any significant increase in sales for the last few years. Much to Carlos’ disbelief and in spite of his assurances, Roman gives the goahead for the investors to pull out their money whenever they want.
