Bernard called Romina on the phone and asked what exactly had happened with Vicky. Mina said she’d try to convince her to stay at the rest house and Bernard offered to get to the bottom of nurse Pearlita’s sudden disappearance. Romina then told him about Alvin following Cassie the other day. Bernard wasn’t surprised.
Mina vowed to make Alvin confess like she had done to him before. Hector was excited when his smuggling buddy brought him a bag of money. Roxy came in as he left with his men. She asked her father who they were and Hector reminded her that he was the parent. Roxy then told him about how they had saved Marga’s boyfriend.
Mryna asked Jessa to leave her sons out of her issues with her husband. Mikoy came in after Jessa left and Myrna asked how long he had been there and whether he had eaten. Hector told Daniela not to worry because he had taken care of the old lady and she was feeling better now. Daniela was worried about her talking and Hector assured her that they had scared the nurse enough to keep her mouth shut.
Myrna asked Mikoy how much of her conversation with Jessa he had heard, and the boy told her that he hadn’t heard much, adding that he understood her situation. Myrna then asked him to keep their conversation a secret so they didn’t have anymore trouble in the house.
Jessa, Gino and Kulas joined them at the table. Much to Gino’s dismay, Kulas sent Mikoy out to buy some food for Jessa since she insisted on not eating what Myrna had prepared. Kulas tried kicking out his son when he voiced out his displeasure but Myrna defended him.
Romina and Bernard met up with Alvin and asked whether he had been following Cassie around. Alvin denied it. Bernard mentioned that Vicky had already made up her mind to leave for the province. Romina was certain that something had happened and she vowed not to rest until she found out what actually happened to nurse Pearlita.
Daniela met up with Vicky and gave her some money. Danny girl told Vicky to have a talk with Romina to make her stop asking questions, before instructing her to take her mother with her and start a new life somewhere else. Daniela blackmailed her some more and made her to call Romina and set up a meeting.
At the CrAvenue Diner, Kristoff was excited to finally be able to learn how to drive. He asked Cassie where she would like to go on their first stop and Cassie teased him, saying that he shouldn’t get ahead of himself since he didn’t know how to drive yet.
The Mean Squad came over and reminded them about the upcoming summer party and Cassie said she’d have to ask her mother first. A moment later, Cassie asked her mother for permission to attend the party and Romina gave her her approval. Mikoy was helping around the autoshop when Carlos asked why he wasn’t resting.
Mikoy told him that he was feeling better now. Carlos reminded him not to overwork himself. Marga came over and tried taking Mikoy away, but the guy wouldn’t budge. He made Marga tell her father about the party they were going to and he also made her give him a hug before leaving.
Vicky met up with Romina and told her to stop involving her and her mother in her investigation. She claimed to have some money saved up to follow her mother to the province. Mina looked on helplessly as Vicky wished her good luck with her investigation.
In her office at Camila, Romina was confused about some things and Bonita suggested that she ask Alvin for help since he had given her information before. Mina was certain that Alvin was hiding something from her and Bernard insinuated that he could have been paid to keep his mouth shut.
Thinking that Carlos was covering up for his wife, Romina planned to gain his trust and squeeze the truth out of him. Mrs. Galvez was upset with Daniela for issuing a cheque in the company’s name when the board were already getting suspicious of their withdrawals.
She demanded for an explanation and Danny girl told her that she had used the money to save the company’s reputation. Mrs. Galvez reminded her that the board had set a meeting for next week and she had to return the money by then if she didn’t want to go to jail.
Romina went to the police station with Bonita to have a talk with Jude. Bonita was doubtful of Jude’s allegiance since both Carlos and Daniela were his family but Mina was ready and willing to take the risk. Jude joined them a second later and Romina asked him to investigate the disappearance of Pearlita Salvador, the nurse who had found her outside the hospital the night she had been räpëd.
Mina then told him that the nurse had claimed to have seen Robert outside the same hospital that night. Cassie, Kristoff and Fatima arrived at the summer party. Marga came in with Mikoy a moment later. Kristoff was paired with Marga for a duet since they had both won at the music fest.
Kristoff was hesitant but Cassie gave him the go-ahead, saying that she also wanted to hear him sing again. Kristoff then dedicated his performance to her. Cassie started bombarding Mikoy with questions as Marga went to the stage with Kristoff, and Mikoy evaded them all. The audience congratulated Marga after her perform with Kristoff.
Marga went to confront Cassie after learning that she had been questioning Mikoy. She asked her to stop talking to him. Cassie suspected that Marga was hiding something, and she vowed to find out what it was. Marga stormed out, dragging Mikoy along. Nadya told Nica and Maureen about her plan to oust Marga and be the new queen.
At the mansion, Romina came out of the study room, all dizzy. Carlos helped her into the couch and Mina asked him to call Neil and Nanny Esther. Carlos however hovered and stared at her, reminiscing their past memories. Daniela came in just then and started making a scene.
Neil and Esther joined them as Mina and Carlos tried talking some sense into Danny girl. Neil gave her a piece of his mind before he and Esther helped carry Mina away. Daniela apologized to her husband but Carlos was still upset and didn’t want to hear any of it.
Jude arrived home and told his brother about Romina’s request for help, worried about where the investigation might lead to. Gino reminded him that he was a law enforcer and it was his duty to help those in need.The next morning, Carlos had a talk with Romina as she got ready for work, glad that she was feeling better.
Daniela came over and both women exchanged some unfriendly words. After Mina left, Daniela confronted her husband about his sudden concern for Romina, and Carlos told her that it was his way of repaying her for everything he had done. Hector treated his brother to a small feast.
Alvin mentioned that their lives would have been far easier had they ventured into the smuggling business sooner, adding that they wouldn’t need Daniela or have any trouble. Hector was upset with the comment, but even more determined to make Daniela his.
Daniela was in a very foul mood in her office on account of Romina. Mrs. Galvez reminded her of the upcoming board meeting. She then asked her to calm down, saying that Mina would win the game if she went crazy. Flashing back to the incident at the safehouse, Daniela decided to come up with a plan to make it look like Romina had gone mad.
A rep from the agency went to the diner to tell Marga about her new endorsement and how she would be needing a partner to compliment her beauty. Marga recommended Kristoff and the rep asked to have a talk with him. Since it was Kristoff’s day off and he and Cassie had gone for driving lessons, Marga gave Roxy, who had just come in, the task of finding out where Cassie was.
After investigating the safehouse’s residence, Jude called Romina on the phone and told her about the car that had stopped near the house the day she had gone there. Mina suspected Hector’s involvement. Jepoy coached Kristoff on as he drove. Cassie, who sat at the backseat, admonished him to go slow.
Kristoff was driving a little better in no time. He was eager to go on a road trip with Cassie and their friends and Jepoy offered to be their driver and bodyguard if he couldn’t find someone to go with. Cassie teased Kristoff with his driving.
Cassie received a text message from Roxy, asking for her whereabouts. A man in a hood stood nearby, staring as Kristoff kept driving. Romina was in her office with Bernard and Jude, determined to make Alvin confess like she had done some time ago. Bernard warned her that he could get back at her this time around.
He and Mina wondered why Alvin had gone to the mansion in the first place, and Jude decided to go there and investigate when Daniela wasn’t home. Mina thanked him for all his, and Jude said there was no need because he was just doing his job.
