Hipolito Schemes Against Lucas. Homer Clashes With Javier Again, With Their Allies Plotting Against Each Other. Cardo & His Group Arrive In Santo Niño. Romulo Prays & Reminisces.
Hipolito continues to brainwash Lucas and his wretched son about Cardo and the Vendetta’s supposed connivance with the families of Teddy and Grandma Flora. Lucas pathetically falls for the act as he makes a solemn vow to stop all his enemies before they get the better of him.
Hipolito silently gloats and plots to keep the riches from the mines to himself by diverting Lucas’ attention onto his detractors. In the meantime, Margie assures Shirlene and Denise that they would be safe at where she would be sending them.
At the hideout, Teddy beats himself up over Jonathan’s death and belittles himself for staying in hiding while others are out there standing up to the injustices of the rotten system. Virgie merely says that the most important thing is for their family to remain safe even in hiding.
While Cardo and his group continue their journey to Santo Niño, Homer hangs out with his lackeys on the bridge and they delight themselves in what they would do with the fortune they would amass from the mines. With the small number of men on guard duty, the miners take the opportunity to fight back against their oppressors.
They manage to take out a couple of the goons and begin to make their escape. Tyson rallies his men to go after the fleeing captives. At the mansion, Senõr Gustavo treats Madonna with indifference when she brings him some desserts in the bedroom.
Madonna tries to appease him but ends up getting the cold treatment even with her seductive skills. Tyson and his men ambush the escapees and after a brief guñfight, they recapture the remaining survivors.Marie and Flora’s family say their goodbyes to Shirlene and Denise.
In no time, they proceed to their destination by taxi, and Margie talks to her sister on the phone and assures her that they would finally be able to be together again once they get justice for mayor Dimagiba’s dëäth and bring down the heartless Cabreras. She charges her sister and niece to always stay inside the house and not leave for any reason once they get there.
Grandma Flora commends Margie’s bravery for standing up to the Cabreras and she promises that they would all support her and wouldn’t give up until the Cabreras pay for everything they’ve done. Brandon føølishly tells his father of his pathetic plan to k!ll Cardo and Alyana before they reveal the truth about President Hidalgo being alive.
Lucas throws a fit and declares that he is the president and not Oscar.Cardo arrives with his group in Santo Niño and they’re perplexed to witness the countless goons that have been stationed around the bridge and the river. Our favorite hero declares that they would wait till nightfall before they make their move.
They then begin retreating into the bushes. Shirlene and Denise arrive at the safe house and Teddy and his family warmly receive them. With the entire town of Santo Niño having been seized and ravaged by their enemies, Cardo and his group decide to find the hostages and ensure their safety first before they retrieve their buried güñs.
They wait it out and when night falls, they discover the place where the defenseles villagers are being held and tërrørized and after surveying for a while, they fall back to spend the night at an isolated makeshift house nearby. Doray and Elizabeth are taking some food to Javier’s group when Homer calls out to them and has them bring the food to him instead.
Javier confronts him and a fistfight ensues. It’s give-and-take for a while until Javier gains the upper hand and dominates. Eventually, Diego and Gapon manage to stop the fight, reminding them that they still have a job to do. Baldo butts in, stating that they should prepare themselves for bløødshed as soon as they all get their share of the treasure.
At the hideout, Cardo and Romulo agree on rescuing the hostages before fighting back against their enemies. Teddy has a talk with his wife, telling her about his plan to surrender himself to the authorities so she and their son would be left alone. Appalled, Virgie strives to reason with him and talk him out of it, and so does JP.
President Hidalgo vows to do everything he can to save the people of Santo Niño, even to the point of sacrificing himself. Ramil relates with him and reminds him that he can’t just give up because the future of the entire nation depends on him. Homer is pretty upset and wants to k!ll Javier and his group, even as Roldan points out that it’s too risky because they’re outnumbered.
Javier celebrates his victory with his allies and gloats over how he would have k!lled Homer had nobody stopped him earlier. Baldo declares that once they get their share of the treasures, he would k!ll “those worthless scumbags” himself.
In the meantime, Homer also makes a vow of his own to go after Javier and Baldo and finish them off once they get rid of Cardo and the Vendetta. Romulo has a talk with Cardo about the tough spot they’re in and how they might not all make it out alive. Cardo is confident that they would all survive.
However, Romulo has him promise to take care of Diana and keep on with the fight if he doesn’t survive. Alyana expresses her worries to the others about the safety of her husband and companions on their mission and Soriano hopes that they return safely by tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile, Romulo reflects on the countless battles he’s been through and prays that goodness triumphs in the end: he prays for the safety of the people of Santo Niño as well as his companions. Also, he reflects on the second chance he had been given in life to løvë again, hoping that if his time has finally come, Diana will have the strength to carry on somehow, along with Cardo and Vendetta.
