Cardo & Vendetta Seek Refuge With New Allies. Senõr Gustavo Begins To Suspect Madonna. Homer Receives A Pleasant Surprise. Lucas Covers Up His Son’s Crimes.
Homer orders the miners back to work with the threat of a fatal warning and Senõr Gustavo comes upon the scene and commends him. When asked about Javier and Baldo, Homer informs him of how they had gone to Santo Niño to get more workers for the mining operations.
In spite of Snooky’s warning and misgivings, Madonna remains determined to see the treacherous plan through to the end. She leads Senõr Gustavo on and manages to convince him to let her go to Manila for a while. In no time , she happily hits the road with Snooky and drives to meet up with Gascone, thinking that she’s finally free from “that wrinkly old man”.
Back at the mines, Gustavo ponders over Madonna’s strange behavior of late: if she breaks his heart, then he would break her neck.
Javier and Baldo and their lackeys continue to enslave and molest Doray and Elizabeth, taking sick pleasure in doing so.
Cardo and the members of Vendetta come across an isolated house and since it’s already late and they still have no place to stay, they decide to go and talk it out with the owners to let them stay for the night. They however find the entire place empty so they resolve to force their way in and stay there for the time being. Oscar pathetically continues to carry his daughter’s corpse.
Madonna stops somewhere to wait for Gascone in the company of Snooky. She ignores Senõr Gustavo’s phone calls as she nervously waits for their partner in crime to show up. At the mansion, Gustavo checks out his vault and finds it intact.
Gascone suddenly shows up to inform Senõr Gustavo that he just had a successful meeting with a couple of their buyers. He stares greedily at the diamond collection and Gustavo catches him in the act and observes him suspiciously.
While Diana, Bubbles and Alyana take charge of the kitchen to prepare food for the starving group, Homer reflects on that fateful encounter with Don Emilio, seemingly unable to figure out that he and Senõr Gustavo are one and the same person.
Mando and Roldan join him and they begin discussing about what could be delaying the recruitment of the more workers needed for the mining site. Homer makes known to them his plan to surprise Javier and Baldo with an unannounced visit in Santo Niño tomorrow.
The table is set for the members of Vendetta to eat. Madonna desperately makes several futile attempts to reach Gascone on the phone, and Snooky begins to speculate that he might have ran off with the treasures and probably tricked and betrayed them.
At the mansion, Senõr Gustavo grudgingly waits up for Madonna’s return: Gustavo states that if he ever finds out that she’s been cheating on him, he’ll make her regret the day she had been born. Eventually, Madonna decides to return to the mansion after Gascone failed to show up.
As Cardo and his comrades dine together, the family/owners of the house arrive and mistaking them for burglars trying to ransack their home, they confront them and try to chase them off. The members of Vendetta apologize for breaking in and strive to make the family understand their current situation, even as Cardo assures them that they’re not bad people and neither would they hurt anyone.
President Hidalgo shows up to reaffirm everything and the family is shocked to recognize him. When they come to learn of what had befallen him, they sympathize with him and the Vendetta since they had also been ättaçked and chased out of their town by ruthless outsiders.
Diana asks that they be allowed to stay for the meantime until they find somewhere else to go. In Santo Niño, Javier and his men lamely take pleasure in torturing a captive for the current hideout of Cardo and Vendetta. They eventually burn the unfortunate guy alive.
Cardo has a talk with his comrades and pushes for them to come up with a plan soon in order to save the villagers of Santo Niño. The next morning, Oscar finally buries Aubrey with the support of his comrades and allies, all the while harboring thoughts of bringing to justice everyone involved in the annihilation of his family.
Homer rounds up his men to head for Santo Niño in order to check up on Javier and Baldo to see what they’ve been up to. Diego and Gapon then decide to tag along. They soon arrive in the war-torn town and Homer confronts the brothers and asks why they haven’t returned to the mining site until now. Javier tries picking a fight with him but his brother calls him off.
When asked why the town looks like a warzone, Baldo grumbles about the group of outsiders that had interfered in their plans. Our favorite hero and his comrades deliberate on what had gone down in Santo Niño and they eventually plan to return to the town and find out why they had been ättaçked.
Also, they look forward to rescue Doray and the other survivors who are being held captive. Meanwhile, Homer presses for information on the group that had caused them trouble and he’s shocked yet delighted to learn that it’s Cardo and the Vendetta.
Teddy sits in the passenger seat of Jonathan’s car and as he observes a group of protestors demonstrating against the Cabrera administration, he begins to belittle and deem himself useless for cowardly staying in hiding. Jonathan begs to differ and points out that he’s in hiding to keep his family safe from danger.
At the hideout, Virgie can’t help but to worry about her husband since he’s not returned for a while now. In Santo Niño, Homer takes delight in how the world has brought him closer to his mortal enemy, Cardo.
Speaking of, our favorite hero informs his wife about the group’s plan to go and dig up all their wëäpons and plan an ättaçk on Javier’s group in order to rescue the townsfolk. When Roldan asks Homer why he hadn’t revealed to the others that Cardo and Vendetta are their enemies, Homer lamely states that “those morons” might betray them by siding with Cardo’s group.
At the Palace, Lucas awards some community leaders and a couple of the press begin questioning him about how he plans to fix the current chaotic state of the country.Brandon watches the live broadcast from the office and begins to whine like the little brat that he is.
VP Hernandez says that’s what they get for thoughtlessly k!lling Mayor Dimagiba and Brandon declares that he has no regrets about it. In the meantime, Lucas faces another round of questions from the media regarding the mayor’s dëäth. A reporter brings up the allegations that say that he and his administration are behind the dëäth of the mayor because of the çriminal charges against Brandon.
Lucas weasels his way out of the tough spot by blabbering about the so-called corrupt cases mayor Dimagiba had been involved in, insinuating that some of his “partners in crime” could be responsible for his dëäth. While Margie arrives at Adonis’ wake in the company of Flora, Homer approaches Javier and Baldo and treacherously offers to help them find Cardo and the Vendetta.
