Cardo & Vendetta Escape Baldo’s Group With A Tragic Loss. Brandon Targets Mayor Dimagiba & Ättaçks Him.
The two separate groups of Cardo and the Vendetta continue to run as they’re being pursued by their relentless ättaçkers. In Manila, Mayor Dimagiba resolves to head for the Arevalo hideout with Margie in order to avoid drawing much attention, ignorant of the fact that Brandon has his lackeys tailing them.
At the Palace, Lucas has a strong conviction that the mayor is helping and protecting Teddy and his family. Secretary O’Campo suggests that they don’t pursue and k!ll Teddy’s family since they’re not wanted by the law. Lucas says he doesn’t give a damn, and he begins ranting about what Cardo had done to his psyçhø son Marco.
Cardo and his comrades manage to catch up with the other group and they successfully come to their rescue by finishing off their pursuers. Baldo’s group come after them, with güñs blazing and grenade throwers causing explosions as our favorite hero and his companions make a run for it through the river.
While Shirlene informs Grandma Flora about how Margie had tagged along with the mayor to visit the Arevalos, Margie and Adonis continue their journey, with Brandon’s henchmen still on their tail. Eventually, they’re made out and the mayor resolves to make a deliberate wrong turn.
The action continues way back in Santo Niño: halfway through the river, Cardo and Vendetta trade shots with their enemies and strive to hold them off while the unarmed try to get away. Baldo in particular fires off a series of expløsive büllëts and shøøts Aubrey in the head as she escapes with her father and the others.
The güñ battle drags on as President Hidalgo makes desperate attempts to revive his daughter. With some assistance from Patrick, he and everyone else manage to get to the other side of the river where the güñ battle continues. Oscar makes another futile attempt to revive his daughter, and Diana notifies Cardo and the others about Aubrey’s dëäth.
Cardo and the guys continue to trade büllëts with their enemies, with a couple of them taking moments to behold the gloomy sight of Oscar crying and clutching his daughter’s body. At the Palace, Lucas tells Hipolito of how Brandon had left to deal with mayor Dimagiba.
Silently, Hipolito gloats over the fact that Lucas has acquired a lot of enemies, and since it’s only a matter of time before he gets kicked out of the Palace, he (Hipolito) vows not to go down with Lucas. Back in Santo Niño, Baldo retreats with a couple of his guys while the rest stay back to continue the fight.
Our favorite hero and his comrades manage to lose the remaining goons. Cardo and the members of the Vendetta flee to a nearby village to seek shelter, only for the people to run helter-skelter and avoid them altogether. The guys desperately strive to convince the folks to help them before they lose their wounded comrades.
Oscar bothers a certain woman to help his already-dead daughter but he, like the others, are turned down in spite of their persistent assurance that they wouldn’t hurt anyone. The quite depressing and heartbreaking scene is a sight for the angels to weep over, with our favorite hero and his comrades having such misëräble looks on their faces.
Mayor Dimagiba drops off Margie at Flora’s house while the goons continue to spy. Once inside, Margie informs the family about how they had refrained from visiting Teddy and his family because they noticed someone following them earlier.
In the meantime, Adonis arrives home and when Brandon gets word of it, he decides to go and confront him to force him to give up the whereabouts of the Arevalos. Later, Lucas urges his son to have his men do the job but Brandon insists on handling the mayor personally because of the countless times his men have screwed up.
Margie talks to Adonis on the phone and as she tries to confess her feelings to him, she’s interrupted yet again by Elmo and Wally. Baldo rejoins his equally dêspiçable brother and tells him of how Cardo’s group had gotten away.
Back at the de Leon house, Margie reveals to Flora’s family how she really feels about Adonis and they all share in her joy and hope that she gets the chance to be with her beloved once their troubles are over. In the meantime, Mayor Dimagiba receives a güñ from one of his bodyguards to use as protection in case he needs to defend himself.
Adonis thanks him before leaving the güñ in his drawer.While Brandon sets off for the mayor’s house with his henchmen, Secretary O’Campo cautions President Cabrera about the probable fallout that could arise from what Brandon intends to do.
Lucas backs up his son’s decision and charges Damian to do his job by brainwashing the public and misleading them so they don’t get blamed for whatever happens to the mayor. Javier cowardly begins to harass and molest Doray and when Caloy tries to intervene, he beats him up and leaves him in such a bløødy mess. Cardo and the members of Vendetta continue their journey on foot.
Ramil can’t seem to understand why the group have no one to turn to when they have always been willing and ready to help anyone in need. As he laments over how no one wants to help them and had closed their doors on them, Cardo states that they shouldn’t lose hope because he believes someone will help them.
They soon come across a house on their way and decide to go and ask the people there for help. In Manila, Margie talks to Adonis on the phone as she’s on her way to confess her true feelings to him. Meanwhile, Cardo and his group reach out to the locals and they agree to take them to the medical center.
Brandon sneaks into Mayor Adonis’ house after güññing down a bodyguard of his with a silencer-equipped handgun. In the living room, Adonis is having a cup of coffee in peace when Brandon rears his ugly head to confront him about Teddy’s whereabouts.
Adonis plays dumb and gets pretty loud and vocal as Brandon grabs him. In a fit of anger, Brandon punches the mayor in the belly, demanding to know of where Teddy is hiding.Adonis insists that he has no idea of what he’s talking about and Brandon angrily kicks him down and holds him at güñpøint.
Before he can shøøt, Adonis literally kicks him in the balls, shoves him away and flees into his room. Brandon recovers and goes after him, only to be blindsided and shot in his side. Adonis looks on and the episode concludes as Brandon holds his wounded side, all the while glaring at the mayor angrily.
