General Chavez Strives To Turn Sam Against Emman. Celine Asks Anton For A Favor. Emman Plots To Stop Celine’s Wedding. Sam & Marcelo Save Colonel Manzano.
Caloy tells Sam that he wanted to make sure that she had gotten home safely because she had really been drunk earlier. Sam shrugs off his concern and disregards him, even as he goes on about how he would never give up on her. She heads to the washroom where she dramatically recalls her history with Emman.
Celine happens to mistake some random guy passing by her house for Emman. Her mother comes over to make another attempt to talk her into breaking things off with Anton. Still, Celine refuses to back down. A series of flashbacks reveal how she had found some information about Lester’s heart donor from India.
Sam drags her sorry self to bed in such misëräble state and Caloy comes to check up on her. After talking to Nick on the phone, Analyn is approached by Celine at A. Hernandez Hospital, and she talks with her about her worries for the wellbeing of the Salvadors, as well as how Emman has gone into hiding.
Analyn gets emotional as she recounts Bernie’s tragic fate, saying that she’s regretful that she hadn’t made up with him before he died. Celine merely tells her that the truth will eventually come out. While Emman makes a futile attempt to reach Sam on the phone, Celine visits Anton in his office and he starts bombarding her with plans for their honeymoon.
Celine merely tells her so-called fiancé to decide on his own. She then asks him to grant her just one request; before they get married, he should patch things up with Emman since he had saved his life.
Anton bluntly refuses to forgive Emman for what he had done to him, and as he rants about how he had tried to k!ll him, Celine walks out without another word. In the locker room of the nurses, Analyn continues to worry about Arnold since she’s not been able to get in contact with him for a while now.
A colleague of hers belittles Arnold, branding him as a playboy and blabbering nonstop about how the guy is probably seeing someone else after supposedly moving to the states.Arnold is revealed to be alive in an undisclosed location. He’s hooked up to a life support as a nurse attends to him.
Anton returns home to whine to his sister about Celine’s request regarding Emman. Amelia speculates that it’s only proof that Celine can’t live without Emman. She urges him to think things through and make the right decision. However, Anton declares that the wedding is on and Celine will be his.
Amelia argues that he would never have her heart because they both know that she doesn’t really løvë him. She grumbles about how his heart has suffered a lot because of Celine. Amelia then proposes that they perform his heart transplant before his wedding just to be extra safe.
Anton bluntly refuses to take the risk unless he gets married first. Sam talks to Marcelo on the phone to ask for updates about Colonel Manzano. Marcelo informs her about how the Colonel persistently told him that they have to help Emman.
Out of nowhere comes General Chavez who demands to see Sam in his office. A moment later, Leo makes a pretty pathetic and ridiculous attempt to turn Sam against Emman and compel her to give up his whereabouts. Nick informs Caloy about how Emman needs them.
Caloy is all for it but isn’t so sure that Sam would be willing to help as well. General Chavez makes it his mission to brainwash Sam into getting what he wants. He blabbers nonstop about how Emman has merely been using her since day one. Amelia deals with a client whose child is in need of a kidney transplant and she assures her that the procedure will be successful.
After failing to reach Sam on the phone, Caloy tells Nick that he knows a source where they can get the supplies Emman needs for his plan. He happens to notice Leo’s spy lingering in his car outside the house and the misëräble guy speeds off before he’s caught by Caloy.
Sam continues to drive towards the safe house and a phone call comes in from Marcelo who tells her of how he had been followed earlier. Later that night at the safe house, Marcelo charges his subordinates to guard the area and stay alert.
When Colonel Manzano asks if there’s a problem, he merely tells him that they can handle it. It doesn’t take long for some masked goons to infiltrate the place and Marcelo and the other agents strive to hold them off. Sam arrives just in time to take down some crooks.
However, another masked goon manages to slither his way into the interior of the safe house and charges into the room of the target.
Colonel Manzano blindsides the goon and manages to knock him down, thereby disarming him. He then snatches the crook’s güñ and k!lls him with it as Sam and Marcelo hurry to his aid.
In the meantime, Caloy comes to see Emman at the hideout to deliver the supplies he needs for his plan. Emman thanks him for the good job despite the danger involved, and Caloy says they need to do everything to stop the wedding because he also doesn’t want Celine to marry Anton.
A news report on the failed assassination attempt on Colonel Manzano comes on TV and the organ trafficking syndicate and General Chavez are implicated. Leo watches the news with his wife grudgingly and begins grumbling about how he could never do such a thing to Gabriel because he’s his best friend.
Sam is interviewed by the media about the attempt on the Colonel’s life and she declares that the NIA will stop at nothing to uncover the truth. She and Marcelo receive recognition for protecting Colonel Manzano. Amelia watches the news and she calls Leo on the phone to talk to him about the matter.
Meanwhile, Sam receives a surprise visit from Homer, her runaway sorry excuse of a father who comes to lecture her about the dangers of her job. Sam says he’s been her idol since childhood and wants him to be proud of her somehow. Homer claims he’s proud of his daughter. His irritating wife calls out to him and he bids goodbye to Sam to leave with her, with Sam looking on silently.
