The Scandal of General Chavez & Amelia Goes Viral. Emman Faces Off With Anton At The NIA. Clarissa Confronts Amelia. Emman Kidñäps Anton.
Clarissa calls out her husband’s intention to leave her in spite of the fact that he’s the one who cheated on her and messed things up. She throws a fit and Leo responds in kind, ranting about how he’s sick and tired of dealing with her issues and emotional blackmails.
Clarissa continues making a scene as she laments over how she can’t seem to leave him because she still løvës him. Leo says he feels the same and he makes deliberate attempts to appease his wife who’s torn with having to compete with his illegitimate son.
A moment later, Leo calls Amelia and urges her to give him the chance to fulfill his duty as a father to Lester. Amelia admonishes him and pushes for him to focus on fixing his marriage first. At the NIA, Sam reads up on Bernie’s case and hopes that she can find solid evidence to bring his k!ller to justice for Emman’s sake.
At home, Caloy urges Emman to keep his anger in check and not go after Anton unlawfully and risk going back to jail. He urges him to have faith in Sam, saying that she’s doing everything she can to make sure that the real perpetrator will be punished.
Emman seems lost in his thoughts, staring at photos of Bernie.
Celine has breakfast with her misëräble fiancé and mother at home, and they discuss about the upcoming wedding.Anton soon receives a phone call and claiming that it’s his sister, he steps away to answer. When Leo asks Amelia about Lester and how he had gotten hurt, she covers up what had actually happened and claims that the little boy had slipped and hit his head while he had been playing.
Linda makes another futile attempt to talk her daughter out of pushing through with the wedding: Celine is hellbent on finding out what really happened to her son and believes being close with the Hernandezes would help her uncover the truth.
In no time, Anton returns home to give Leo an invite to the wedding. Suddenly, Marcelo and his fellow NIA agents show up to invite him over to the agency for questioning. Leo ridiculously contradicts Marcelo and interferes, telling him and the others to go back to the office in spite of the court order they have.
An exchange of words ensue and Anton eventually agrees to go and settle the issue with Emman the complainant. At the NIA, Emman persistently tries in vain to make Anton confess his involvement in Bernie’s dëäth and the organ trafficking syndicate.
Anton obviously denies all allegations against him and even plays dumb when confronted with Bernie’s wallet which had been found in his car. He blames Emman for everything that had happened to his son and brother. Infuriated, Emman lashes out at him to admit that he k!lled Bernie and Robbie.
The Hernandez lawyer shows up just then to rubbish the case since there’s no concrete evidence against her client.An altercation ensues between Emman and Anton which leads to the former punching the latter in frustration. Anton seems to be enjoying everything in spite of suffering a busted lip.
Charges are pressed against Emman and Nick is compelled to use a chunk of the family’s savings to bail him out of jail. Emman apologizes to his father for acting recklessly and making things worse. Later, he renders another apology to Sam for messing up the opportunity she had given him.
Upon Anton’s return home, Amelia confronts him about where his loyalty lies – with Celine or his own family/business. Anton makes it pretty clear to dear sister that she has no right to meddle in his life. While Emman reflects on Anton’s venomous words and seethes, Marcelo informs Sam about how Colonel Manzano had been trying to tell him something about General Chavez after he had regained consciousness.
Amelia apologizes to Clarissa for everything and Clarissa merely tells her that she’s sorry that Lester had gotten hurt. Nevertheless, she wouldn’t forgive her so easily for betraying her. In spite of Amelia’s promise to back off, Clarissa holds onto Leo’s hand and declares that she would never give up her husband to her.
On her request, Lester is wheeled into the room and things get really awkward when the little boy urges both women not to fight or hurt each other again. And even more so when Lester asks to play with Leo. Emman arrives outside A. Hernandez Hospital and slips into the building.
Linda asks Amelia about Lester’s accident and the trending rumour about her affair with Leo and Amelia cuts her off and refuses to talk about it. Linda asks if Leo is really Lester’s father but Amelia merely tells her that she doesn’t have to explain herself to anyone; the only thing that matters to her is that her son doesn’t get affected by all the gossips and scandals.
Following the scandal involving General Chavez and Amelia, his superiors begin to wonder whether he’s protecting the syndicate. If it’s proven that he’s negligent or criminally liable, then he would face the consequences. At the Salvadors, Sam treats the family to some food to relax and they all begin to wonder where Emman had disappeared to.
Over the phone, Linda and Celine discuss about the dubious secrets the Hernandez family likes to keep. Linda doesn’t want her daughter to become a part of “that despicable family” so she hopes that they can finally uncover the truth before the wedding. A phone call comes in from Anton and Celine bids goodbye to her mother to answer.
Anton offers to pick her up tomorrow for an early breakfast and Celine obliges. Team Emman is still burdened with their inability to get into contact with Emman. Anton gets into his car, only to be held at güñpøint by Emman who orders him to start the car and drive.
The next morning, Amelia pays a visit to the farm to check up on the operations and make arrangements to get more children for their ever-increasing clientele. Franco taunts her with her scandal with General Chavez and she puts him in his place.
Amelia is exasperated to learn that her brother hadn’t shown up for their scheduled business meeting. As Sam and Caloy ask Celine about Anton and Emman who seem to have gone missing, Emman has Anton tied up in an undisclosed location.
After failing to reach her brother on the phone, Amelia reaches out to Celine only to learn that she too hasn’t seen Anton since yesterday. Meanwhile, Anton provokes Emman and receives a punch in the belly for his trouble. The episode concludes as Emman glares at his mortal enemy with a vengeance.
