Nick Ättaçks Anton. Colonel Manzano Regains Consciousness. Emman Faces Off With Anton. A Scandal Develops As Clarissa Confronts Leo & Amelia. The Salvadors Mourn & Bury Bernie.
The episode begins with Nick telling the officer about how they had spent the entire day looking for Bernie, only to discover what had befallen him. He accuses Anton of being the one who had k!lled his son and he begins to throw a fit when the officer doesn’t seem to share his conviction. Clarissa meets up with Leo at the restaurant and begins to second-guess his actions.
She confronts him with how she had found out that he’s been cheating on her with her own best friend. She literally calls them “pigs” and begins to make a scene much to Leo’s chagrin.Amelia has a talk with Franco on the phone about the farm and her plan to get more children: they would make the business flourish without their partners and prove to them that they don’t need them.
Eventually, Franco informs her about the job he had done for Anton and Amelia is exasperated. In the meantime, Leo brings a pretty disoriented Clarissa home who continuously laments over how her dear husband has hurt her. Amelia confronts her brother for k!lling Emman’s brother, thereby making things worse for them.
She worries that Emman wouldn’t stop hounding them because of that. Anton mentions that he had no choice because Bernie had overhead all their dirty family secrets and so he had to silence him for good before he snitched on them. He then assures her that he had covered his tracks.
Caloy notifies Emman that his father has gone out to face Anton. A moment later, Leo calls Amelia to notify her of how Clarissa had learnt of their affair, and Amelia reveals how Anton had been forced to k!ll Bernie. She urges him to help them so it doesn’t get traced back to Anton since they could all go down with the business if he’s caught.
Leo declares that there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for Amelia. Nick storms the A. Hernandez Hospital and after snatching a pair of scissors from a nurse, he goes at Anton and slashes his arm with it, accusing him of k!lling his son. Anton wrestles with the poor old man and knocks him down with a punch.
He then has the guards called to take him to the police station and Celine intervenes and strives to talk some sense into her sorry excuse of a finance. Emman shows up and comes to his father’s aid and an altercation ensues between him and Anton who continues to deny having anything to do with Bernie’s dëäth.
Anton tries to justify his actions and as Analyn and a few other nurses look on in disbelief, Celine gives him a reality check. Sam walks with Emman into the chapel and informs him about how the police are looking at süiçide as the reason behind Bernie’s dëäth. Emman refuses to believe that his brother could have taken his own life.
As he and Sam stare down at the open coffin at the wake, Celine comes over to extend her condolences and Emman gets upset when she continues to defend Anton. Tension erupts when the scoundrel shows his face to offer his “condolences” as well and a showdown ensues as Emman berates the Hernandezes, holding the dêspiçable family responsible for the dëäths of his son and brother.
Leo strives to reach his wife on the phone consistently. During their return to the chapel, Caloy makes a pathetic attempt to keep Nick from figuring out that Anton is at his son’s wake. Nick recognizes Anton’s car parked outside and resolves to search it with Caloy in order to get evidence to prove what he’s been saying all along.
The car’s alarm sounds in no time, alerting Anton as Nick and Caloy desperately search his car. A moment later, Anton hurries to the parking lot to check out his car and he deduces that someone had been in it recently. Nick and Caloy observe silently as they hide behind one of the several parked cars.
The doctor updates General Chavez about the condition of Colonel Manzano, who still can’t talk though there’s been signs of recovery. The rotten General stares down at the colonel, reflecting on their clashes during the investigations into the syndicate.
While Clarissa sneaks into the Hernandez residence to pay Amelia a surprise visit, Nick gives Emman a wallet he had found in Anton’s car which happens to be Bernie’s. The team all seem to agree that Anton had k!lled Bernie and staged his dëäth to look like a süiçide. Nick vows to take his life in exchange for his son’s and Emman and Sam counsel him against that so they could serve justice in the right way.
Colonel Manzano regains consciousness and signals to Marcelo to tell him something. He recalls the connection he discovered about Franco and General Chavez but struggles to put into words his thoughts and suspicions. Clarissa confronts Amelia about how she’s been cheating on her with her husband.
She brandishes a fragment of glass and as Amelia desperately strives to calm her down, Lester is wheeled onto the scene by a nurse. As Clarissa lunges at Amelia, Lester springs to his feet to intervene and he slumps to the ground and is rendered unconscious.
In agitation, Amelia quickly has the driver called to take her son to the hospital and she calls Leo to notify him on their way. Lester is soon admitted at San Raphael Hospital where he’s stabilized. Leo doesn’t waste time to get there to reveal himself as Lester’s biological father.
Clarissa happens to witness the scene and she’s in absolute disbelief. Amelia drags him outside to caution him of the possible fallout should their secret be exposed, and Clarissa makes known her presence and knowledge of the terrible truth. Amelia urges her not to cause a scene but Mrs. Chavez isn’t one to disappoint as she provokes her dear hubby to admit to his dirty secrets.
Leo lashes out at Clarissa, taunting her with his longtime relationship with Amelia and how he couldn’t be a father to Lester because of her (Clarissa). He gets in her face and rants that he’s only been putting up with her and doesn’t løvë her, much to Amelia’s disbelief.
As the nurses observing nearby record with their phones, Clarissa släps Leo and berates him and Amelia before leaving. Amelia and Leo realize too late that they’ve been recorded all this time. A moment later, Amelia urges Leo to go back home to his wife and salvage what’s left of the situation but Leo is determined to act like a father to Lester.
Amelia cautions Leo that they would be blamed if Clarissa attempts and succeeds in committing süiçide again. Nevertheless, Leo declares that he isn’t afraid of anything anymore. Meanwhile, the Salvadors proceed to lay Bernie to rest, in the company of Sam and Analyn who extends her condolences.
Nick tells Emman that they’re going to get justice for the dëäths of his brother and son. When Emman notes that Anton is the only one who can answer all of their questions, Sam asks to do something about the matter first: she says if they do anything out of anger, they would only end up losing.
