Team Emman Encounter The Illegitimate Daughter of Dr. Gomez. General Chavez Tricks The NIA. Celine Allies With Dr. Calderon. Amelia Learns The Disturbing “Truth”.
Emman has a talk over the phone with Sam, expressing his misgivings in regards to how the case seems to go nowhere. He plans to pay Dr. Calderon a visit in order to get some answers and stating that she’s already under surveillance, Sam urges him not to scare her off with his actions since they’re trying to get her to trust them.
Linda cautions her daughter about how Amelia doesn’t seem to believe her claims that she løvês Anton. In the meantime, Arnold bids goodbye to his family to attend a meeting at the accounts department of A. Hernandez.
Amelia reminds him to return home early since Lester’s birthday party would be taking place later in the day.
Anton approaches his sister and offers to do anything she wants so she would give Celine what she wants. An exchange of words ensue, with Amelia bluntly refusing to grant Celine’s wish, apparently for the welfare of their family. Anyway, Arnold runs into Analyn at A. Hernandez Hospital and since it’s not yet her time to be on duty, he gets her to agree to a lunch date.
Caloy observes as they both get all friendly with each other and he calls Bernie on the phone to inform him about how his ex-girlfriend seems to be getting closer with Anton’s brother. Bernie is evidently upset but behaves like he doesn’t give a crap.
Caloy regroups with Emman and Sam at the hospital and in no time, he stumbles into the office of Dr. Calderon and puts on a ridiculous act of being sick. A nurse there comes out to attend to him and as Caloy strives to keep her occupied with his antics, Emman and Sam sneak into the office and begin searching the place.
Caloy keeps up with his pretense of having breathing difficulties and as fate will have it, Dr. Calderon arrives and catches the intruders snooping around in her office. At the NIA, Colonel Manzano receives word about fingerprints from a body that matches with the assassin of Araceli.
Emman and Sam strive to convince the doctor to cooperate with them and tell them what she knows about the syndicate since Dr. Gomez is her birth mother. Insisting that she knows nothing, Dr. Monique threatens to sue them if they don’t get out of her office.
A moment later, Emman informs Celine about Dr. Monique’s connection to Dr. Gomez and he urges her to help them. Celine agrees to it, just as Sam receives a phone call from Marcelo, telling her about the new development in the case. Leo has a talk with Franco on the phone about how he had engineered the elaborate plan to cover their tracks and appease the Hernandezes.
Clarissa questions Nick about what her husband has been up to, with all his secret meetings and stuff. Nick thinks it’s just some confidential stuff from work but Clarissa begs to differ: she charges him to spy on her husband and report back to her the next time he insists on driving himself.
Leo comes out to inform his wife that he’s cancelled all his meetings and activities so they could attend Lester’s birthday party. Sam briefs Emman about the discovery of the supposed k!ller of Araceli. At the Hernandezes, Clarissa brings Amelia Lester’s birthday cake and begins rambling on about her suspicions of her husband cheating on her again.
Leo brings Lester a gift which turns out to be a video game he’s been looking forward to having. Lester gladly receives the present but is somewhat saddened with the absence of Robbie and his grandma Araceli. Leo makes it his mission to cheer him up till the point Amelia shows up. Linda apologizes to Nick for all her misjudgements and the hurtful words she had said to him before.
Nick relates with her and also apologizes for the wrong he had done on his part. In the office at A. Hernandez, Celine apologizes to Dr. Calderon for what Emman and his friends did earlier. Dr. Calderon merely shrugs it off and recounts how her mother Dr. Gomez had abandoned her from childhood in order to preserve her reputation and her other family.
She however acknowledges that she’s now a doctor because of her help. Celine asks about how their relationship had been and Monique fills her in. The doctor then makes known her plan to find out what had really happened to her mother since she doesn’t believe that she had really k!lled herself: if it’s proven that the Hernandezes are somehow involved in her dëãth, she would make sure that justice is given to her.
Celine later discusses with Dr. Calderon about her intention of confirming whose heart Lester has since she has a conviction that her son could be alive. Both women agree to keep their discussions a secret. Leo has a talk with Amelia about their situation with their son Lester.
Clarissa almost catches them holding hands. At the NIA, Colonel Manzano and his men deliberate on their intel on Nestor. Aside from the matching fingerprints, they come to the conclusion that Nestor had motive to k!ll Araceli since she had sent him to jail for embezzlement.
Colonel Manzano begins to wonder who k!lled Nestor or had him k!lled. Sam soon updates Emman about the progress of the case. Linda urges her daughter to coordinate with Emman to find the truth about their son, pointing out the fact that he still løvës her.
Celine is reluctant to do so and is inclined to believe that they’re already over. In no time, all the family and guests gather inside Lester’s room to sing him a happy birthday song. Eventually, Lester makes a couple of wishes and things tend to get awkward for a while when he also expresses his desire to finally meet his father.
Lester brings up the strange man who had come to see him before and when Clarissa asks about it, Amelia cuts her off and has her son blow the candle to the applause of everyone else. Later, while Amelia and Clarissa are discussing about Nestor, Arnold hurries over to alert them about Lester. They dash into the room to find Lester having a seizure and Leo prompts Arnold to have Nick get the car ready as Amelia strives to attend to her son.
They soon set off for the hospital where the boy is admitted and treated. Leo paces outside the emergency room in agitation and eventually, Amelia comes out to assure him that Lester is now stabilized. Leo calms down and breathes a sigh of relief since he no longer has to worry about losing another son again.
As Amelia soothes him, Nick silently observes from where he sits. Leo soon receives a phone call from Colonel Manzano who informs him about how they had discovered who supposedly k!lled Araceli. The rotten General puts on an act of being in the dark, and he’s the least bit happy when Gabo mentions his intention of finding out who k!lled Nestor and why.
Emman is really upset to have reached another dead end due to the dëäth of the so-called k!ller of Araceli. Caloy insinuates that Amelia and General Chavez might have connived together to k!ll Nestor for revenge. Even more so, recent news of more child abdüçtions has Emman distressed as he suspects that it’s the very same syndicate behind it.
Emman notes that he doesn’t want to disappoint the bereaved parents who are counting on him to bring the crooks to justice. Back at A. Hernandez Hospital, Leo comes to check up on Amelia and their illegitimate son. Ultimately, he informs her about Nestor being the one who had supposedly k!lled her mother. Amelia is in absolute disbelief.
