The officers promise to help him out and they assure him that they can now do their job with ease now that Terante is no longer around. Inside the holding facility, Virgie has a talk with the other confined women about their predicament. Teddy and JP resolve to continue the fight against the rotten system and administration in spite of everything.
In Santo Niño, Diana and Romulo reflect on how they’re both alone and consider the Vendetta as their family. Diana worries about how things might turn out after they finally accomplish their mission and Romulo assures her that they’ll still see each other and and not drift apart.
The leaders of the four dêspiçable groups discuss about the overdue recruitment of more workers and Javier takes offense when Diego passes a nasty comment.Senõr Gustavo berates Tyson for getting so many men to guard the mining site when work hasn’t even began. Tyson assures him that Baldo and his group would capture enough men to work in the mine soon.
President Cabrera is really upset at some reactions regarding Terante’s mürdër. Brandon worries that their enemies and opposers might try to take advantage of the situation and Lucas vows to crush everyone who dares to go against them. Back in Santo Niño, the papaya thieves spring into action to steal their desired quota for the night and they gladly begin to make their escape.
The members of the Vendetta blindsided the blasted thieves, corner them and give them the beating of their lives. They then proceed to round them up and take them to the town hall where Cardo introduces them as the papaya thieves. The captain interrogates them, amazed to realize that they had come from a faraway village to steal from them.
He then begins to admonish and counsel them, with our favorite hero criticizing their actions every now and then. The captain decides to detain the thieves and have them transfered to the town prison the next morning. Teddy boards a bus with his son to meet up with Jonathan.
At the Palace, Lucas plots to use Virgie as bait to lure Vendetta out of hiding. The following morning in Santo Niño, Romulo wakes up from bed and resolves to stare at Diana as she sleeps. Diana soon wakes up to catch him in the act. When asked about it, Romulo denies it, begins flattering her and even goes to the extent of making her a cup of coffee.
Diana gladly accepts and thanks him. She offers to go with him to check on their crops later and Romulo proposes that they go fishing too so they can have more food for everyone. Cardo does the laundry and eventually fetches some buckets of water. He takes them into the bathroom before going to stare happily at his sleeping wife.
In the meantime, Bubbles’ ridiculous moment of admiring sleeping Jerome is frustrated by Aubrey. Jerome soon wakes up, followed by Soriano who teases Bubbles with how she had almost ki$$ed Jerome earlier. The other guys wake up and Ramil mentions that he had also seen what Bubbles had done. They urge him to make his move before he comes to regret it. Jerome says he’ll do that in his own time.
Cardo actually proceeds to prepare breakfast while his wife continues to sleep. Alyana soon wakes up and is delighted with her husband’s touching gestures. Javier picks a fight with Diego on account of how he had built the cage to contain the miners and Gapon strives to restore order.
The members of Vendetta gather around the table for breakfast and Cardo, Alyana and Delfin tease Diana and Romulo over their apparent closeness. Cardo notes that Jerome is also acting differently, and Bubbles can’t help but to smile back at him. Romulo and Diana inform the group about their plans for the day and they get teased some more.
Soriano doesn’t pass up the chance to banter Bubbles. Grandpa Marsing and his family have breakfast, and they discuss about the capture of the papaya thieves: they’re relieved to have Cardo and his companions to keep their little town safe. Javier and Baldo head out of the camp with their separate groups to äbduçt more men for the mining activities.
In Camp Crame, Marquez is informed of Terante’s recent meetup with Hipolito and his probable involvement in his dëäth. While the faithful cops deliberate on the abdüçtion of Virgie and how to go about their duties and help out, Virgie familiarizes herself with her fellow captives.
One in particular notes that Virgie might have it worse with their captors since they would go to any lengths to make her reveal the whereabouts of her daughter and husband who are part of Vendetta. Virgie vows not to break and looks forward to when the Vendetta would finally bring down Lucas and ensure their freedom.
In the meantime, Teddy and JP rendezvous with Jonathan. Mayor Adonis hires more bodyguards to protect Margie and her family. At the canteen, Wally, Elmo and co observe as Kapus and Panting freely dish out food from Councilor Gina’s eatery. The rotten cops discuss about mayor Adonis and they plot to silence his secretary for good if he squeals.
Meanwhile, the mayor addresses the press and renders an apology to Kanor. He reveals that the security guard hadn’t really tried to blackmail Brandon like reports claim. As Lucas, Brandon and VP Hernandez watch the live broadcast grudgingly, mayor Adonis declares that he would reveal the real and actual truth.
