The episode begins with Clarissa apologizing to Amelia for the unfortunate incident earlier. Amelia taunts her and Leo to strengthen their security next time before going on about the negative comments and judgement people have been passing on their families. Clarissa merely tells her not to listen to what people say, adding that she’s by her side.
Amelia then thanks her and wishes her a happy birthday before leaving. Meanwhile, Emman grumbles about how Celine keeps acting recklessly and laments over how she can’t seem to reciprocate his feelings for her. Sam relates with him and admits that a part of her hopes they don’t work things out because she hopes that he would løvë her again like before.
Sam hugs Emman desperately and pours out his heart to her, lamenting over how she can’t hold back her feelings for him. They get caught up in the moment and Emman allows Sam to ki$$ her. As fate will have it, Celine comes upon the scene and freezes, staring in absolute disbelief. When Emman notices her, she runs out and he goes after her and strives to explain things. Celine refuses to listen and begins throwing a fit.
An argument ensues as she accuses Emman of not wanting to believe that their son might be alive because he’s already moved on. Sam comes over and Celine begins questioning her about how long they’ve been together secretly. In spite of Emman’s misgivings, Sam reveals to Celine that she was the one who had been there for Emman when she turned her back on him all those years ago.
She says Celine has no right to be angry because she had already moved on with Anton and would have already been married by now had it not been for Robbie’s case. Both women exchange a few more choice words before Celine leaves. A moment later, Sam apologizes to Emman for the incident earlier and laments over how she had been there for him when Celine abandoned him.
In the meantime, Celine discusses the situation with her mother, upset with how she had been kept in the dark. Emman indulges Sam as she goes on about how she’s always hoped for them to end up together. Back at the Delgado residence, Linda strives to reason with her daughter in regards to Emman’s reluctance to help her fulfill her plan.
Linda insinuates that Celine might have been hurt when she found out about Emman and Sam because she’s waiting for the day they would be together again. Clarissa sees the trending video of her husband’s outburst during her birthday party and she reluctantly shows it to him. Leo isn’t the least bit happy to see the video with all the angry reactions.
Caloy comes to learn of what had transpired between Emman, Sam and Celine earlier. When Emman inadvertently admits to the details, Caloy begins to lecture him about the errors of his ways and states that he’s giving up. Bernie confronts Analyn outside A. Hernandez and asks if she’s been ignoring his calls and texts because of Arnold. Analyn snubs him and walks out on him.
Speaking of, Arnold watches a news report about his mother’s case on his phone in a bar somewhere. Some random guys begin to make mockery of him and brand his family as mürdërers. Eventually, Arnold gets upset and engages the guys in a scuffle before he’s restrained and thrown out by a bouncer.
In jail, Nestor makes a solemn vow to take revenge on the people who put him behind bars as soon as he gets out. Bernie shows the trending video to his father and brother, and he expresses his views on the matter before leaving for work. Amelia calls Leo to congratulate him on his viral video with the dozens of hate comments to boot.
Leo is indifferent and confident that the issue will soon pass. Back at the Salvadors residence, Nick informs Emman about how he had seen General Chavez talking with Amelia privately during Clarissa’s birthday party. He makes mention of a particular gesture he had seen then which suggests that they’re in cahoots.
Amelia laments over Celine’s refusal to believe that Lester doesn’t have Robbie’s heart. When Celine asks for a DNA sample of Lester’s heart to prove that it isn’t Robbie’s, Amelia throws a fit and bluntly refuses to allow it, saying that the procedure might put her son in harm’s way.
An altercation ensues and leads to a screaming fit from Amelia before Anton shows up to calm down his sister. He then urges Celine to give him some time to convince Amelia to cooperate. Arnold comes to see his mother at the NIA and apologizes to her for not being there for her before. They have a really dramatic reunion as Araceli urges him to take good care of himself.
Nestor drives somewhere in town and gloats as he listens to the radio about Araceli’s upcoming press conference. Celine asks for her mother’s help to get to the bottom of the truth: she would trick Anton and Amelia into believing that she no longer suspects them or their family by getting back together with Anton.
Speaking of, Amelia turns down Anton’s request to cooperate with Celine. They begin to worry about the possible repercussion of the confession their mother would make. Linda worries about the dangers of her daughter’s plan to play the Hernandezes and Celine urges her to help her out since it’s the only option she has left. Bernie has a talk with Caloy about their complicated løvë lives.
Linda finally returns to the Hernandez residence on the guise of being concerned about the wellbeing of Lester and Arnold. A fellow officer/secretary proposes to General Chavez not to push through with his plan of interrogating Araceli himself since people have been talking about him negatively. The General gets upset and throws a fit which Nick happens to witness.
A moment later, Nick informs Emman about how Leo had lashed out at his secretary. On account of his suspected involvement with the syndicate, Emman asks his father to resign in case it’s proven that Leo is really connected to the syndicate. However, Nick wants to stay closer to him in order to watch his every move and be of help to him in the quest for justice for his grandson.
While some shady character, a.k.a Franco, posing as a journalist slips into a room and assembles his camera and cocks his gun, Araceli is brought out by Colonel Manzano and his men. General Chavez approaches her and stating that the press conference will start in ten minutes, he demands that she tell the truth and give justice to the children that had fallen victim to the syndicate.
As Emman and his fellow officers look on, General Chavez declares that he would be taking charge of the case. Leo then asks Amelia and Anton to stay back at the holding area so they don’t get hassled by the press. Amelia has a moment with her mother who reaffirms her løvë for her and her brother as Franco, the disguised armed journalist, observes.
