Celine Dumps Anton. General Chavez Is Scrutinized. Emman Are Celine Are Hellbent On Getting To The Bottom of The Whole Truth.
Sam is heading to her car when Caloy shows up and asks that they have dinner together. She turns down the offer to leave for home and Caloy recounts how Emman seems to be getting along with Celine’s mother. Caloy then tries to convince Sam to give him a chance as he goes on about how Emman and Celine still have feelings for each other.
Again, Sam turns down Caloy and makes it clear that she won’t give up trying to win Emman over. Celine stares sadly at a photo portrait of her son and her mother comes to call her for dinner. They have an exchange of opinions regarding what Araceli had said about Robbie. Linda thinks she had lied to misdirect the investigation.
Still, Celine remains determined to talk to Araceli personally to know what had really happened to her son Robbie. Amelia and Anton pay their mother a visit in her hospital room. Araceli goes on rambling some crap about how she has no regrets for all that had happened because she had saved many lives and extended Anton’s life.
Amelia and Anton try to reason with her but Araceli is hellbent on sacrificing herself for their sake and to protect their dirty secrets. The Salvadors watch a news report regarding Araceli’s arrest and interrogation and they deliberate on how her entire family could be involved with the organ trafficking syndicate.
Caloy mentions that the youngest son Arnold might not be guilty. When Bernie asks if the situation will affect the hospital employees, Emman confirms so and states that the hospital might also go down if it’s proven that there’s an accomplice working there.
A coworker of Analyn’s goes on about her intention of resigning from the hospital before the bad reputation of the Hernandezes starts rubbing off on them. Arnold passes by as the other nurse urges Analyn to resign as well and begins questioning the innocence of Dr. Araceli’s children.
With the company’s board members having bailed, Anton has a video call with a couple of disgruntled shareholders about the issue involving his mother. Anton promises that he would make sure they don’t lose the case. In the meantime, Amelia talks to Leo on the phone about the case and the measures to take regarding the syndicate and the children in the farm.
They plan to break Araceli out of the hospital. Amelia worries that Franco might eventually snitch on them if they don’t get him out of jail soon like they had promised.Leo offers to get rid of Franco but Amelia objects to it since they still need him: the best option is for him to be broken out of custody.
Leo then vows to make sure that there won’t be anymore delays or hitches in executing the plan. Colonel Manzano sees the CCTV footage of Dante with Franco in the interrogation room, and finding out that it doesn’t have any audio, he places a phone call to ask for the file to be checked.
Clarissa pays a visit to Amelia to check up on her and Amelia puts on a pathetic, ridiculous show of being shocked with the crimes her mother had committed. Later, Celine tries to go and talk with Araceli but some NIA agents refuse her entry. Amelia comes out and an argument ensues on account of Celine’s insistence to talk to her mother.
Celine is hellbent on knowing what had really happened to her poor son. The reporters and families of the syndicate’s victims swarm General Chavez to demand for justice in regards to Araceli’s involvement with the dëäths of their children. When asked if he’s in cahoots with the Hernandezes since they’re family friends, Leo states that it’s an insult to his integrity as the leader of national security.
He flat out denies it and vows to prove that he only follows the law. In the meantime, Amelia makes it her mission to make Celine believe that they hadn’t given Robbie’s heart to her son Lester: she claims everything had been legal. Still, Celine holds Araceli responsible for her son’s dëäth and refuses to believe that she doesn’t know about what had happened to Robbie.
The victims of the syndicate protest right outside the main entrance of the DNS, crying out for justice, all the while insinuating that Araceli’s children might not be innocent after all. Celine lingers outside the hospital room, hellbent on talking to Araceli. Anton shows up to ask what she’s doing there and she tells him of her mission.
Anton makes a quite pathetic attempt to convince her that his mother had nothing to do with what had happened to Robbie. He begins with his emotional blackmail and declaring that she doesn’t know him anymore, Celine takes off her engagement ring and hand it back to Anton. For a moment, Anton is dumbfounded.
He continues to play dumb and eventually agrees to let Celine talk to his mother when she wakes up. Inside, Amelia informs her mother about the plan to break her out of the hospital. Araceli is against the idea since Amelia and Anton would be investigated once she disappears.
Amelia makes a futile attempt to get her mother to change her mind.Celine is appalled with Anton’s act and insistence of knowing nothing. Much to her disbelief, Anton admits that he’s involved, saying that he’s the reason why his mother had gotten involved with the organ trafficking syndicate. Celine points out that it isn’t right to take the lives of others irrespective of the circumstances.
Anton says he isn’t a bad person and hasn’t done anything wrong to anyone: he pleads with Celine to believe him but she just sobs and walks out on him. Later, Celine meets up with Emman to discuss how General Chavez has also come under suspicion on account of his friendship with the Hernandez family.
Celine is inclined to believe that he’s the one protecting the Hernandezes since he occupies a powerful position. Emman vows to make General Chavez pay if it’s proven that he’s also involved. He also insinuates the involvement of Colonel Manzano and Major Francisco.
In the NIA, the colonel confronts Franco for not telling him about Dr. Araceli’s involvement with the syndicate. An altercation ensues and Dante intervenes before proceeding with his men to escort Franco to the transport vehicle. Emman is hellbent on making sure that everyone involved in Robbie’s dëäth pays, and he decides to set his sights on General Chavez.
He’s somewhat surprised to notice that Celine is no longer wearing her engagement ring. He asks about it but Celine gives him the silent treatment. Sam is surprised to learn of Franco’s sudden transfer to the city jail and she hurries out and begins shadowing Dante and his men as they take Franco away.
Anton shows up at the Delgado residence to talk to Celine and Linda merely tells him to go home, saying that Celine is tired and asleep.
When Anton asks how he can prove that he wasn’t involved in his mothers crimes, Linda recounts the countless children that had been k!lled because of Araceli’s criminal activities, her grandson Robbie inclusive, and she bluntly tells Anton to stop lying and stay away from her daughter.
Caloy is delighted and hopeful of having a chance with Sam on account of the possibility of Celine getting back together with Emman.
In the meantime, Anton has a talk with Celine and promises to do everything to prove to her that he’s been telling the truth all along. Celine indulges him and makes it clear that they’ll only talk again once he has the evidence about Lester’s legal donor.
Sam continue to tail the transport vehicle and she calls Emman on the phone to inform him of Franco’s sudden transfer. She notes that she has a bad feeling about it and Emman asks her to text him her current location. In no time, he hits the road on Caloy’s motorbike, and the episode concludes as he and Sam pursue the convoy containing Dante and Franco.
