Jenny Returns To Work & Reunites With Pinky’s Family. Shannon Finally Sets Windsor Free. Jack Decides To Grant Jenny Her Last Wish.
Pinky brings Jenny to Dr. Queen to stay there for the meantime since she had been against returning home with her. Jenny promises to do her best and thanks Pinky for everything. After parting ways, Pinky begins to wonder why she can’t seem to hate Jenny in spite of everything she had done to her.
The next morning at Dr. Queen, Jenny gladly and eagerly resumes working on some clients as a beautician and Pinky checks up on her every now and then. Later at Xu Feng, Miss Gao questions Pinky about her reason for giving up her dream of participating in the global makeup contest.
Pinky apologizes, saying that she’ll just join the competition next time.It turns out that Pinky wants to be with Jenny and take care of her until the very end. She soon confronts Jack at the police station about his reason for taking the blame and criticizes him for leaving Jenny by herself in her current condition.
Jack asks her to take care of Jenny in her last days and hopes that she leaves the world peacefully. After attending to some clients, Jenny makes a futile attempt to reach Jack on the phone and she’s surprised to learn of how Pinky had dropped out of the makeup contest on her account.
She goes to confront her and tries to convince her to go and reapply but Pinky won’t hear of it.
Jenny entrusts her son Shawn to Pinky and asks her to take him as her own child and just forget about her. Pinky criticizes her decision and refusing to do it, she urges her to pull through and take care of Shawn herself.
A moment later, Jenny goes to see Mr. Hong and pleads with him to tell her where Jack is since there’s something important she needs to tell him. Gordon merely tells her that he can’t help her. After Jenny leaves, he informs Miss Gao about Jenny’s condition and pleads with her to allow Jack to see her as her last wish.
At the police station, Jack requests to see Jenny but he’s turned down by the officer. The officer also refuses to let him talk to her on the phone. He soon receives a phone call and informs Jack of the good news: the victim’s family have set up a meeting between him and Jenny and he would have two hours to spend with her.
Miss Gao questions Shannon about what had happened that fateful night but Shannon can’t seem to remember what actually happened. Betsy pays the Lin family a visit and begins to berate Jenny upon learning that she had left her son behind to go on a trip.
Pauline calls her aunty “stüpïd”, saying that Jenny’s ghost would haunt her if she dies.Betsy refuses to believe that Jenny is ill, so Mrs. Lin reveals to her that she has advanced cancer. Pinky informs Jenny about the good news regarding Jack and convinces her to come and stay at her place for the night.
When Gordon returns home, Betsy continues to speak ill of Jenny and remains determined to get back her grandson in spite of knowing the truth. Gordon admonishes his wife, asking how she could be so cruel when she’s a mother herself.
The Lin family have a great get-together with Jenny and her son at home and they recount some fond memories with Jenny and Pinky.
Pinky and Jenny are brought their favorite fried eggs and things get quite emotional as Mr. Lin recounts how he only used to make some for them because he didn’t know of any other way to support them and the family.
Pauline takes note of how Shawn shares his food with his mother. She outright states that she envies Jenny and tells Ethan that she also wants to have a son who’ll share his food with her. Ethan makes light of the situation. Jenny thanks the Lin couple for their løvë and care.
In her hospital room, Shannon reflects on her wedding with Windsor and unfriendly encounters with him. Shannon reaches for the divorce agreement and sadly goes ahead to sign it. Meanwhile, Jenny asks Ethan to take care of her son as his godfather after he and Pauline get married. Ethan declines the offer and also tells her to take care of her son herself.
Silently, Jenny acknowledges the løvë Ethan had had for her in the past: she’s grateful for the momentary happiness he had given her and remorseful over how she had treated him. Betsy is distressed over how Jenny seems to be suffering the very same unfortunate fate of her parents and she worries about how Shawn would be affected.
Shirlene urges her mother to accept Jenny as her daughter-in-law since she doesn’t have much time left. Betsy says it’s all up to Jack and she begins to wonder where he is. Shirlene thinks that her brother’s decision of leaving home might have something to do with Jenny.
Miss Gao hands over the signed divorce papers to Windsor and apologizes for forcing them to be together. .Windsor also takes blame for how things had turned out. Jenny receives some money from Mr. Lin to buy herself some clothes for her meetup with Jack.
The policemen in casual wear transport Jack to the restaurant for the dinner and photo-taking and cautions him not to try to run away. In no time, Jack meets up with Jenny and Shawn and begins treating the former with indifference. Jenny asks for a favor for their son’s sake – Jack agrees to marry her again after dinner.
Sometime later, the undercover policemen keep an eye on Jack throughout dinner and eventually notify him that his time is up. They leave to go and wait outside as Jenny asks Jack to go with her to the seaside for their remarriage. Jack snaps and grumbles about how he had already taken photos and had dinner with her.
Jenny goes on about the things their son Shawn likes and pleads with Jack to be extra careful with him since he’s very sensitive.Again, Jack throws a fit and tells Jenny to send Shawn home before leaving. Jenny’s stomach begins acting out again and Shawn hurries after his father and urges him to take his mother to the hospital.
After dismissing him, Jack recalls Jenny’s last request and runs off before the policemen can take him back. Jenny overhears an officer telling another of how Jack had ran away and she comes over to ask whether he’s committed any crime. Shannon apologizes to her mother for making her worry with her actions.
Giselle sympathizes with her and asks her to render an apology to Pinky. Shannon acknowledges the harm she had done in her obsession to have Windsor to herself. She agrees with her mother that there’s no happiness in a forced relationship and thanks her for everything.
In the meantime, Jenny asks Pinky of why the police is hunting down Jack and Pinky tells her that she would explain everything later, adding that she and Shawn have to come with her because Jack had called her earlier. At Xu Feng, Gordon is surprised to learn of how Jack had ran away after turning himself in.
