Clarissa apologizes to her husband for last night’s incident and Leo sympathizes with her and urges her not to doubt his loyalty to her again. He notices her holding onto LJ’s favorite toy and Clarissa notes that she couldn’t let it go. At the Hernandez residence, Amelia puts on a show in front of Linda about Celine’s suspicions of their family and though Linda agrees with her that their family couldn’t possibly be involved in Robbie’s dëäth, she speaks against how Anton had hurt her daughter.
Amelia then proposes that they both talk to Anton together. Meanwhile, Celine hands in her resignation letter to leave A. Hernandez Hospital for personal reasons and her coworkers fail to convince her to reconsider her decision. Caloy strives to calm down Emman who’s determined to deal drastically with “that bästärd” if he continues to lie to them.
Inside, Franco manages to break free of his restraint and he slips out through the window and begins to make his escape. Emman and Caloy spot him and proceed to go after him. Linda proceeds to have that blasted talk with Anton about his situation with Celine and how he had hurt her. Anton says he didn’t mean to do that and promises not to repeat it.
In no time, he comes to know of Celine’s resignation from the hospital and questions her about it. Amelia has to butt in to apologize on her brother’s behalf and Celine cuts her off and walks out on them.Anton fumes as his sister nags him about the countless times she had warned him about Celine. He grabs a nearby wheelchair and literally tosses it away as Analyn and a couple other nurses observe in disbelief.
In the meantime, Sam cuts off Franco’s escape by knocking him down with her car, and Emman pounces on him and beats him up a little before Sam decides to take him to the NIA. In no time, Colonel Manzano questions Franco about his involvement with the organ trafficking syndicate and Sam observes silently as Dante puts on a quite impressive interrogative show to get Franco to cooperate with them.
Amelia nags and bothers her mother about how Anton is starting to lose control. She rants about the scene he had made at the hospital which could make people suspect their family all the more. Araceli defends Anton, much to Amelia’s displeasure. Back at the NIA, Marquez informs Emman and Caloy about Franco’s refusal to confess.
He urges them to go home and when they both argue that his bosses aren’t trustworthy, Marcelo assures them that they would make sure not to lose Franco. Also, he cautions them that if they stick around, they might get into trouble because they had illegally detained Franco, hadn’t turned him in immediately and had even beaten him up.
Colonel Manzano cautions Franco that he risks facing life imprisonment if he doesn’t cooperate. Nick has a talk with General Chavez about Emman’s capture of Franco and expresses his worries of him getting into trouble because he had done so illegally. Leo assures him that he’ll make sure Emman isn’t faulted.
Back in the NIA interrogation room, Franco finally agrees to cooperate but only on one condition: he would be placed under witness protection, have his sentence reduced and would only talk when the press is around. Later, Leo congratulates Gabo for the successful capture of Franco, saying that it’s a huge breakthrough for the case.
Gabriel thanks the General and acknowledges Sam and Emman for Franco’s capture. When Dante begins grumbling about how they had broken protocol again, Leo puts him in his place, pointing out that he’s not contributed anything to the case.
Emman is upset to learn of how Anton had hurt Celine and Celine strives to do damage control and comes to learn of the capture of Franco. Caloy mentions the upcoming press conference and is certain that Franco would confess and expose Anton and his family. In no time, Franco is transported to the DNS to give his statement on the case and he admits to his crimes.
The Hernandezes and team Emman watch the press conference on TV as Franco recounts the crimes he’s committed, particularly how he had been ordered to kidñäp and k!ll Robbie. Much to the disbelief of Emman and his companions, Franco announces Dr. Gomez as his boss and the mastermind of the organ trafficking syndicate.
A flashback reveals how General Chavez had plotted with Amelia to protect the business and the Hernandez family by using Dr. Gomez as the scapegoat and Franco as the fall guy who would give the testimony. Another flashback shows Anton briefing Franco about the plan and paying him.
It is revealed that Franco had deliberately put himself in Emman’s path and allowed himself to be captured. Presently, the media swarm Franco for comments as he’s being taken away and Celine confronts him and begins pounding him, demanding for him to tell her the truth about who had actually k!lled her son.
Celine continues släppiñg and hitting him as he’s being escorted. The Hernandezes watch the live broadcast and gloat over Franco’s performance, confident that they’re now off the hook. General Chavez meets up with the victims of the organ trafficking syndicate to discuss the case.
Dante talks to Anton on the phone about his fear of Franco ratting them out. Anton declares that he would take care of Franco so he should focus on the NIA and make sure that they would leave them alone. Team Emman deliberate on the confession of Franco and are pretty much convinced that he hadn’t been completely honest.
Anton shows up with his usual attitude and tells Emman to let his family be because “the truth” has finally been revealed. Emman punches him for hurting Celine and vows to k!ll him if he dares do that again. Anton retaliates and a fight ensues. Eventually, Celine gets in his face and chases him off.
Later that night, Emman escorts Celine home to see to it that Anton doesn’t bother her again. He then thanks her for sticking up for him earlier. Celine apologizes for how she had misjudged him years ago and hadn’t given him a second chance. Emman says he’s already forgiven her a long time ago.
Amelia criticizes her brother for picking a fight with Emman over Celine after the damage control they had done. Araceli cautions him to be more careful before he ends up getting a heart problem again, and Anton notes that they already have a reserve..Arnold shows up with a news article about Dr. Gomez and mentions that she’s friends with her mother.
Araceli denies it and says Dr. Gomez was just an acquaintance of hers. She later talks with him and makes it her mission to curtail his suspicions. Celine broods by herself and reflects on how Anton had helped her through what she had been going through after she had parted ways with Emman.
Speaking of, Emman and his family discuss the involvement of the Hernandezes in Robbie’s dëäth and Bernie overhears and gets upset. A flashback reveals how Araceli had føøled Dr. Gomez and had Franco k!ll her. Arnold points out to his mother that she can’t deny the fact that Dr. Gomez is a friend of hers.
Araceli still insists otherwise and brings up his decision of going into the NIA. Arnold declares that he’s already decided and wants to serve the country and Araceli makes a pathetic attempt to dissuade him. Emman talks to Celine on the phone about how the Hernandezes are dangerous and would do anything to protect their business and reputation: they can get rid of everyone who stands in their way, even Celine.
Celine asks if there’s anymore evidence to expose them and Emman states that he needs to prove that it was Araceli he had seen and shøt at St. John’s. Celine declares that they’re not going to rest until they get justice for their son.
