The Protector of the Hernandezes Is Revealed. Anton Fights With Emman & Celine. Team Emman Capture Franco.
Sam waits in vain for Emman’s return and eventually decides to go home. Caloy holds her off, saying that there’s something important he needs to tell her. As he musters the courage to profess his feelings for her, Bernie interrupts him with his arrival.
Caloy manages to make him go upstairs and for the second time, he gets interrupted again by Nick as he returns home from work. Nick unwittingly reveals to Sam that Caloy has always liked her. At the rendezvous place, Amelia urges the protector to protect their business at all cost lest they all end up getting exposed.
The protector reveals himself to be General Leo Chavez and he promises to do everything in his power to protect the farm and their family. In the meantime, Celine recounts how she and Emman had tried everything to find their son until the very end. Emman vows not to rest until he brings the syndicate to justice.
A couple of the other parents relate with him and express their gratitude to him for all his efforts with the case. Back in the restaurant, Leo proposes to Amelia that they relocate the farm. He then promises to deflect all incriminating evidence against her family. Amelia worries about Colonel Manzano and Leo assures her that he can easily lead him on and keep him in the dark about their dealings.
When Amelia mentions that Emman is the biggest thorn in their side, Leo goes on about the foolproof plan he had cooked up against him, how he’s helped him and his father in getting jobs in order to curtail their suspicions of him. Once he has their full trust, he’ll be able to have firsthand knowledge of their plans.
Outside the Salvador residence, Caloy admits his feelings for Sam, but Sam makes it crystal clear that she only sees him as a good friend and nothing more. Caloy makes a futile attempt to convince her to give him a chance. Clarissa thanks everyone for coming and for sharing their experiences and she even notes how her husband has been trying to get justice for them. Supposedly.
Said husband sees Amelia off at the restaurant’s parking lot. Amelia urges him not to underestimate Emman and Leo promises to make sure he and Celine don’t find anything against her. He actually tries to ki$$ Amelia but gets snubbed in a heartbeat. After Analyn’s shift is over at A. Hernandez Hospital, Arnold convinces her to go out and celebrate with him for being able to pass and get into the NIA.
The Salvador family have a talk about the løvë lives of Bernie and Caloy. Nick tries to encourage Caloy to give it his best in pursuing Sam but Caloy doesn’t think he stands a chance with her because she still likes Emman. At the restaurant, Analyn congratulates Arnold for his successful entry into the NIA.
Arnold goes on about how Analyn is different from all the other girls he’s dated: they always wanted to party but she actually listens to him and is the only one he can confide in. As if on cue, an ex of Arnold’s passes by and waves to get his attention but she gets ignored for her trouble.
Following the meeting with the other bereaved parents, Emman informs Celine of how General Chavez had given him a job at the DNS. Celine praises him and his wife Clarissa for being good people even after losing their child. Emman brings up their suspicions of Anton and his family and he notes that they’re definitely involved in their son’s dëäth.
Anton who happens to overhear confronts Emman angrily and a fight breaks out. Emman vows to expose the Hernandez family. Celine manages to break them up and convinces Emman to leave before things can escalate any further.
Analyn goes to use the washroom and she overhears a conversation between Arnold’s ex and a friend of hers about how Arnold is fond of ditching his girlfriends after going out with them for a while. A moment later, Analyn returns to the table and nervously gives Arnold some flimsy excuses in order to leave for home.
At the Hernandez residence, Anton argues with Celine over the encounter with Emman earlier and begins badgering her with questions about their wedding and whether she still løvës Anton. When Celine speaks out about her suspicions of his family, Anton snaps and släps her. Shocked, Celine grabs her bag and off she goes.
Caloy joins Emman and Sam at a table at a bar while they’re having a discussion. He tries to make a move on Sam but all his efforts get shøt down. In the meantime, Amelia gives Anton an earful for making things worse because of his fight with Emman and making them look even more guilty.
Anton justifies his actions and their mother shows up to stop the argument and urges that they remain united lest they get taken down by Emman, their persistent enemy. Leo returns home and is met with quite a scene as his drunk wife questions him about what he’s been up to.
Leo strives to stop Clarissa from drinking some more. Clarissa calls him out on how he had cheated on her years ago and as she begins making a fuss, Leo struggles to calm her down and assure her that that would never happen again.
Araceli has a talk with Amelia about the Chavez couple, with the former suggesting that it would be better for Clarissa to know of what her husband is doing for their family before she finds out from someone else. Amelia objects to the idea as she states that Clarissa is a walking time bømb and wouldn’t be able to handle a secret this big.
Back at the Chavez residence, Clarissa apologizes to her husband for acting out.Leo stops Clarissa from taking some pills and assures her that he would never cheat or leave her ever again. Meanwhile, Caloy continues with his advances on Sam as Emman silently observes, just as Franco heads into the bar without any of them noticing.
Eventually, Sam decides to leave to use the restroom inside and Caloy actually tries to accompany her. She passes by Franco but doesn’t notice him. Back outside, Emman cautions Caloy to stop pestering Sam because it wouldn’t work on her. It doesn’t take long for him to encounter Franco inside the bar.
Emman recalls the previous encounter at A. Hernandez Hospital and pounces on Franco. He beats him up mercilessly, all the while asking where his son is. Eventually, Franco pulls a güñ on him and Sam and Caloy’s momentary intervention gives Emman the chance to beat up Franco some more.
At the Hernandezes, Arnold has another argument with his mother and sister as he insists on pursuing his dream of being an NIA agent. At the NIA, Sam briefs Colonel Manzano and Dante about the case but doesn’t reveal the fact that she’s already caught Franco.
Sam has a talk with Marquez about her suspicions of Dante and the colonel, thus, her reluctance to reveal everything to them lest Franco gets k!lled before he talks. Meanwhile, Franco has been tied up in an abandoned building somewhere and is being interrogated by Caloy and Emman to reveal everything he knows about the syndicate.
Franco gives them the silent treatment and Emman tries to beat a confession out of him about the person who had ordered him to k!ll his son. Caloy stops Emman before he can beat Franco to dëäth. Bernie sends Analyn an apology text message but she doesn’t reply and resolves to ignore a phone call from Arnold.
The Hernandezes have a talk about how Arnold had enlisted in the NIA in spite of their misgivings. Amelia says Anton needs to talk to him personally: he’s the one who needs him the most so it’s his responsibility to keep him safe.
Anton suggests that they just tell him the truth about the family business already but Amelia objects to it, saying that he can’t handle it. Araceli worries about Arnold’s safety in the NIA as she states that he’s important to her, especially to Anton.
