Celine Frustrates Anton’s Wedding Plans. Emman Tries To Return To The NIA. Sam Begins To Suspect The Colonel.
Linda excitedly mentions her daughter’s wedding with Anton during breakfast at home, asking if it’ll still come on this December. Celine indulges her with little to no excitement on account of what had happened to her son.
Linda notes that she’s also in mourning though she admits that she (Celine) is in even more pain because she’s Robbie’s mother. Celine says she can’t possibly be happy with Anton knowing that her son hasn’t gotten the justice he deserves.
Sam questions Araceli and Amelia about Dr. Gomez who happened to be a resident doctor at A. Hernandez Hospital for a period of 4 years. The Hernandezes play dumb and put on a show of not knowing who Sam is talking about, even as she goes on about Dr. Gomez’s suspected involvement with the organ trafficking syndicate.
Araceli and Amelia both display fake sympathy for Robbie’s fate and Sam congratulates them on Lester’s successful operation and taunts them with the fact that both boys have the same blood type. Sam runs into Celine on her way out of A. Hernandez Hospital and recounts to her her talk with the Hernandezes earlier. She then promises to stop at nothing to get to the truth.
Emman goes to the NIA to request for Colonel Manzano to have him reinstated into the agency. LCeline confides in Sam about her situation, distressed over the possibility that the man she’s set to marry could be involved in her son’s dëäth. On this account, she resolves to give him the benefit of the doubt to prove himself.
Celine thanks Sam for all her help with Robbie’s case. Anton chances upon Sam and Celine and comes to learn of Sam’s mission at the hospital. When asked about Dr. Gomez, Anton also claims not to know her and Celine silently observes as he puts on a show of wanting to cooperate to clear things up and get justice for Robbie.
At the NIA, Colonel Manzano turns down Emman’s request because of his quest for vengeance and resentment. Emman strives to reason with Gabo and get him to change his mind but the colonel won’t reconsider his decision as he rambles on about how his actions are likely to put the other agents in danger and his family as well.
Emman gets in Gabo’s face and declares that he would punish the people involved in the dëäth of his son whether he gets into the NIA or not, and he cannot stop him. General Chavez asks Nick about Emman and he learns of his difficulty in getting a job because of his criminal record. On this account, he decides to help him out.
Dante approaches Emman on his way out of the NIA and taunts him with how he had been rejected. They trade a couple of choice words, with Dante stating that he should be appreciated for working the case of his now-deceased son. Emman throws him shade, saying that he does absolutely nothing but to take the credit for his hard work and that of Sam’s.
When Dante accuses Emman of making things harder for them with his persistent interferences with the case, Emman pronounces that he’s the one making things difficult. Emman taunts Dante, stating that the money he gets from the syndicate means more to him than the lives of those innocent children: his pockets is probably filled with cash – maybe he now has enough money to buy a conscience and a heart.
Dante gets upset at that and picks a fight with Emman and Sam hurries over to break it up before the tension can escalate any further. A moment later outside, Sam recounts to Emman her talk with Amelia, Araceli and Anton about Dr. Gomez. Emman believes that the Hernandezes are guilty and Sam urges him not to confront them since they don’t have any evidence.
At A. Hernandez Hospital, Celine observes silently as some coworkers discuss how “kind” and handsome Anton is. Back at the NIA, Sam is chastised by Colonel Manzano for confronting the Hernandezes and insinuating their involvement in Robbie’s case. Later, she grumbles over what had happened and begins to suspect the colonel of being in cahoots with the Hernandezes.
General Chavez has a talk with Colonel Manzano about Emman’s recent visit to the NIA and his rejected request. They discuss Emman’s suspicions of the Hernandezes and much to Gabo’s dismay, Leo gives heed to the matter and states that if it’s proven to be true, then the law will prevail over their friendship and family relationships.
A moment later, Leo meets up with Emman in his office and offers to give him a security job in the DNS. Emman accepts and Leo states that he wouldn’t need to undergo any training because he’s already overqualified with his experience as an ex-NIA agent. Emman expresses his gratitude to Leo for his help. He chances upon his father on his way out and informs him of the good news.
After they part ways, Nick goes to see Leo and the General asks him to go home because he has a dinner meeting later and can do fine by himself. Nick is more than willing and ready to do overtime and wait on him but Leo insists on going by himself. At A. Hernandez Hospital, Anton notifies Celine of the reservation he had made at a restaurant as well as the other preparations for their wedding.
Celine is indifferent and not happy to be taken by surprise. Anton pushes for her to give an exact date for their wedding and he throws a fit when Celine says she doesn’t know. When Anton persists, Celine rants about how she isn’t in the mood to get married and go through all the lively preparations while the people who k!lled her son are still out there having fun.
Anton asks whether she’s not pushing through with the wedding and Celine walks out on him.
Later that night, Emman and Celine both attend a meeting with the other bereaved parents who had also lost their children to the organ trafficking syndicate. Clarissa also joins them to give them some encouragement.
Over the phone, Amelia informs her mother of how she had reserved an entire restaurant in order to meet with their ally. Araceli wants an assurance that they would be safe and Amelia reminds her that they can always rely on him because he’s their longtime business partner and number one protector. In no time, she meets up with said protector who’s identity isn’t revealed.
