The Lins Discover Evidence of The Conspiracy Against Pinky By Jenny & Shannon. Jenny Betrays Psyçhø Shannon
The shareholders finally calm down as they believe in Mr. Hong’s reassurance. They suggest that he join hands with Miss Gao to improve Xu Feng and Giselle gladly agrees to it. A moment later, she dismisses Windsor to have a talk with Gordon about Pauline and admits that he had really treated her well. Gordon acknowledges his wrongdoings and offers to make it up to her.
He agrees to invest into Xu Feng when Giselle offers to make him the executive director. He would ask for financial help from some of his contacts. Jenny gets into another argument with Jack in her efforts to see her son. She reveals that Jack and his father can go back to Xu Feng when they’re ready because she had asked some shareholders to put pressure on Giselle.
Gordon arrives home just then to learn of the stunt Jenny had pulled and resolves to criticize her actions. Betsy seems to be swayed by Jenny yet again. Ethan is advised by his parents to stop seeing Pauline because her mother is now at odds with their family. Pauline assures the Lin couple that she wouldn’t be a burden for them and would even cook for them heartily. She then reveals that today is Windsor and Shannon’s wedding.
Mr. and Mrs. Lin decide to keep the info from Pinky but Pinky walks in just then to overhear their discussion. She then hurries to the venue and finds Shannon with Windsor, both in their wedding dresses. Pinky makes a quite pathetic attempt to remind Windsor of the promise he had made her. Windsor point-blank tells Pinky that he doesn’t løvé her anymore. He then walks away with Shannon and right into the auditorium as they’re being announced and wowed by the audience.
Pinky watches sadly from the outside as the wedding ceremony takes place. Back at the villa, the Lins begin to get worried about Pinky so Ethan decides to call her with Pauline’s cellphone. The call doesn’t go through so Pauline takes the phone to call Pinky herself and she unwittingly plays the recording of the exchange between Shannon and Jenny. The Lins are appalled to discover the scheme Jenny and Shannon had devised against Pinky to discredit her and ruin her wedding with Windsor.
Ethan vows to make Shannon pay. Meanwhile, Shannon strives to get cosy with Windsor after their wedding and Windsor treats her with indifference. It doesn’t take long for Ethan to storm the Gao residence with Pauline in tow. Ethan confronts Windsor for chickening out and leading his sister on. When Shannon protests, Ethan bluntly calls her a bïtçh.Miss Gao takes offense at that and threatens to call the police if he keeps acting like that.
Ethan dares her and plays the audio recording. Shannon is horrified while Giselle, Windsor and Pauline have disgusted looks on their faces. Giselle confronts Shannon over the stüpid trick she had come up with and släps her for for being such a huge disappointment. Psyçhø Shannon begins ranting over how she had no choice. Windsor berates her for ruining the happiness of three people just so she could get married.
Ethan cuts the drama short and stating that his sister is missing, he vows not to let it slide should something happen to her. Pauline calls Shannon a bad and evil woman and declares that she doesn’t want her to be her sister. After she leaves with Ethan, Shannon makes a pathetic and desperate attempt to get Windsor to forgive and understand her. Windsor snubs her and literally shoves her to the floor.
Somewhere in the city later that night, Pinky is brooding by herself when Windsor finds her and apologizes for failing to honor the promises he had made to her. Pinky asks why he had betrayed her when he had promised to be with her forever. Windsor can do nothing but to apologize for himself and Shannon. He then wishes for her to find her happiness and a man far better than him.
At the Gao residence, psyçhø Shannon refuses to listen to her mother’s counsel of leaving Dr. Queen for Pinky to take over. Pauline begins to treat her mother with indifference on account of how she’s changed so much. She then makes known her intention of leaving home. Shannon couldn’t care any less. Giselle apologizes profusely to Pauline for failing her and manages to convince her to stay by promising to take her to see her uncle.
Later, Miss Gao meets up with Gordon at her office in Xu Feng and they talk about Pauline’s apparent feelings for Ethan. Though they both agree to let Pauline decide for herself, Giselle worries about how to approach the Lins with the matter since she’s already fallen out with their family. Windsor returns home and when Shannon begins bugging him to explain where he had gone and what he had been doing last night, he snubs her and heads for his room.
Jenny strives to get Betsy and Shirlene to forgive her for her misdeeds and allow her to see her son. Gordon soon arrives home with Jack and Betsy manages to convince him to allow Jenny stay. Shirleen is appalled with the idea of sharing her room with Jenny. Just then, Jenny begins to exhibit signs of pain and discomfort and Shirlene is compelled to escort her to the room to get some rest.
Jack cautions his mother not to fall for it, saying that Jenny is probably putting on a show. Psyçhø Shannon calls Jenny on phone to tell her of how Windsor had discovered their plan. Jenny says that only means Windsor will go back to Pinky so to tackle the issue, she suggests that she fire Pinky from Dr. Queen since she’s the president.
The next morning, Shannon confronts Pinky and picks a fight with her in her office and demands that she leave her company. Pinky protests as Jenny secretly observes and calls Windsor on phone to notify him of what’s going on.Jenny follows up her plan by calling Jack and urging him to go and sign the contract for Xu Feng so he could be reinstated as the General Manager. Pinky has suddenly turned back into her pushover self as she allows psyçhø Shannon to belittle her and destroy her precious research data.
Windsor walks in on his newly wedded wife verbally abusing Pinky and making a spectacle of herself and she calls out her cruelness and expresses his regret of marrying her. Windsor gets in Shannon’s face and declares that he would have nothing to do with her anymore until the day he dies. He then helps Pinky up by the hand and shoves his psyçhø wife aside.
At Xu Feng, Gordon worries about losing the contract with the foreign clients on account of Windsor’s sudden disappearance. Since they can’t go ahead with the signing ceremony without him, Giselle decides to make Jack the new General Manager so he could attend the signing ceremony in his stead.Windsor drops off Pinky at home and soon receives a phone call from his mother.
When questioned of his whereabouts, he apologizes and offers to explain things to her in person. Psyçhø Shannon approaches her mother in her office and urges her to help her out. Windsor shows up a moment later and lashes out at Shannon for what she had done to Pinky. Miss Gao cuts Windsor off, disregards his explanation and trivializes Shannon’s actions, upset that Windsor had abandoned his work for a woman.
