Emman & Celine Put On A Show & Finally Lay Their Son To Rest. Celine Goes On A Dangerous Mission To Expose Anton.
General Leo Chavez and his wife Clarissa refrain from attending the mass because the former has a lot of work to do at the office. They say their goodbyes to Amelia and Araceli with the promise of visiting Lester soon at home. On their way out of the church, a group of bereaved parents call out to the General and urge him to bring the syndicate to justice for the children they had lost.
The commotion draws the attention of the Hernandezes, Emman, Celine and some others. As the crowd look on, General Leo gives the parents reassurance and promises to get justice for their children. A moment later, Celine and Emman take turns to speak their heart out at their son’s funeral and they sadly recounts some memories they had with him.
Emman in particular laments over how he had been robbed of the opportunity to make up for lost time with Robbie. He berates the members of the syndicate and makes a solemn vow to make them suffer a worse fate than his son had suffered. While Anton and his wretçhed family observe silently, Celine joins Emman on stage as he breaks down.
Celine encourages Emman as he beats himself up for how things had turned out. She assures him that he had done everything in his power to save Robbie. Celine and Emman both won’t be at peace untill they’re finally able to get justice for their son. After Robbie is laid to rest, Emman and Nick go job hunting separately and they both struggle to get employed.
Emman doesn’t have it easy because of his criminal record and Nick, due to his old age. Eventually, Nick receives a phone call from a subordinate of General Leo asking him to come over to the DNS. Arnold has another argument with his mother over his insistence to join the NIA. Analyn resolves to treat Bernie after resuming his nurse training program.
The Hernandezes deliberate on how Celine has drifted from their family of late. Amelia thinks it’s a good thing as she speculates that Celine might be staying away because she’s no longer suspicious of them. Araceli however thinks otherwise and worries about how they would know if they’re compromised. Anton states that they shouldn’t be worried as long as they have a mole in the NIA.
When Amelia asks Anton if he’s talked to Dante recently, he replies in the negative and implies that it’s a good thing because it means there’s not been any development on the case. Emman and Celine run into each other at their son’s final resting place and do a little catching up. Celine is happy for papa Nick when she learns that he’s been able to get a job.
Fortunately, Caloy also managed to get a job to help with the family expenses. Celine encourages Emman as he’s downcast over his bad luck due to his criminal record and she apologizes for how she had misjudged him all those years ago. Turns out that Nick is now working as the chauffeur of General Leo Chavez.
Emman and Celine discuss about how to get concrete evidence against the Hernandezes and expose their involvement in what had happened to their son. Emman brings up the countless contacts of Dr. Gomez. On this note, Celine decides to reunite with Anton and his family so she could find out the truth for sure.
Arnold is walking into a restaurant with his lady companion when he has another run in with Analyn who accidentally spills coffee on his shirt. Arnold grumbles and heads to the washroom to clean up and Analyn follows and apologizes profusely. Enter Bernie to display his usual attitude. Soon enough, Arnold heads for his car with his companion.
Analyn has a talk with Bernie over the incident that had occurred the other night and tries to make him see that he was in the wrong. Bernie being Bernie gets upset and ditches her. When a homeless man comes over to beg, Analyn resolves to give him the food she had bought for Bernie earlier. Arnold witnesses the scene and dismisses his nagging lady companion after changing into another shirt.
Arnold approaches Analyn who apologizes for the incident earlier, and they proceed to have a little chitchat at a table in the restaurant. Arnold confides in Analyn about his ambition to work for the NIA and his family’s disapproval. In the restricted no-go area in A. Hernandez Hospital, Amelia and Araceli have a business video call with some clients of theirs about a particular child.
Following drama from one of the clients, Amelia and Araceli make it crystal clear that only the highest bidder will be able to get the child. A moment later, Anton invites Celine over to the house for his mother’s birthday party and she agrees to attend. It doesn’t take long for Celine to see Anton talking on the phone in agitation.
Celine notices that Anton has a second phone and she eyes him suspiciously. Sam asks Marcelo for updates on the contents of the SIM card he had examined. Marcelo worries about how the investigation could put their lives in danger and Sam indulges him and taunts him to stop being so paranoid. Caloy makes his appearance as a deliveryman on a motorcycle and offers Sam a cup of coffee he had brought her.
Colonel Manzano meets up with Arnold at the NIA after General Chavez recommended him for a junior agent position. He makes it crystal clear to Arnold that his acceptance will be solely based on his overall performance in training. When asked why he didn’t join his family business, Arnold states that he wants to save lives by fighting crime and fighting for the defenseless.
Celine calls Emman on the phone to inform him about the incident with Anton earlier and the possibility that he might be one of Dr. Gomez’s contacts. On this note, she plans to find out whether Anton has been using his other number to contact Dr. Gomez. Leo and Clarissa show up at the Hernandez residence to greet the family.
Amelia takes note of Leo’s new driver, Nick who stands outside near some other party guests. Emman regroups with Sam and Caloy and informs them of Celine’s plan. Though Sam worries that it could be dangerous, Emman is confident that Celine could succeed. Leo and Clarissa visit Lester in his room and it doesn’t take long for Celine to pay him a visit of her own.
Lester takes Celine and his family by surprise by announcing that he had had a dream about Robbie: they were both playing tag when Robbie suddenly stopped and said that he needed to go home because his mother is looking for him. On this note, Lester asks if Robbie isn’t coming back anymore. Celine is left speechless and Anton looks like he’s about to have a heart attāçk.
Amelia tells her son that Robbie is already in heaven with all the angels and they’re all watching over him. Celine makes a face and gives Amelia a look and Anton breaks the tension and takes her out. When he asks if she’s okay, Celine merely says that she’ll learn to cope eventually. She has Anton go ahead while she goes to use the restroom.
As soon as Anton is out of sight, Celine hurries into the washroom and she pulls out her phone and begins calling the numbers listed as Dr. Gomez’s contacts. Though a couple of the numbers are no longer in service, a particular number finally connects and when Celine hears a phone ringing in one of the rooms, she hurries out of the restroom to go and check it out.
