Anton Cooks Up Another Scheme To Get Celine To Himself. Emman Is Devastated With Horrific News.
Amelia and her equally despiçable mother watch over Lester and look forward to him finally waking up from sleep in Villa Corazon. At the Salvador residence, Celine recounts to Emman her suspicions of Anton’s family. She even mentions the shoulder wound Araceli has and insinuates that she might be the doctor Emman had shôt at the facility.
Emman makes known the other evidence he has on Dr. Gomez as well as her connection to the Hernandez family and their numerous affiliations to other hospitals. Emman charges Celine to make sure that the Hernandezes don’t learn of their suspicions lest they cover things up again. Celine can’t help but to hope that their suspicions doesn’t turn out to be true for their son’s sake.
At the NIA, Sam expresses her utmost appreciation to General Leo for intervening on her behalf and Marcelo’s. Leo gives them a lecture on going by the books and following protocol and eventually, Sam asks for his help with someone whom she believes can help their investigation a lot. A moment later, she pays Caloy a visit in prison.
Emman sees Celine off outside the house and as they talk some more about their suspicions of the Hernandezes, Anton spies from the comfort of his car. Back at the visiting area in prison, Sam informs Caloy of the good news – how General Leo had agreed to help him out with his case. Caloy gets excited and quite emotional with it all.
Anton continues to spy as Emman boards a taxi to send Celine on her way, and he begins to wonder what they had really talked about. Bernie receives a surprise visit from his father who strives to convince him to come back home with him. Nick resolves to leave with him the money for the replacement of the jeepney he had sold before and even tries to reason with him.
Celine arrives at A. Hernandez Hospital for her shift and when Anton questions her of her whereabouts, she comes up with some flimsy excuses and apologizes for failing to get in contact with him. Anton asks for updates regarding her son’s case and whether Emman has any new leads, and Celine gives him a dubious look and replies in the negative.
Anton looks on in disbelief as Celine claims that she’s not even talked to Emman yet. Arnold decides to leave his post at the hospital’s finance department to purse his own ambition of wanting to be a special agent of the NIA in spite of his mother’s misgivings.
Analyn soon strikes up a conversation with him and gets to know of his plans. Talk leads to the incident with Bernie the other night and she apologizes to him again for what had happened. Sam informs Emman of the good news in regards to how General Leo had agreed to help out Caloy with his case and help prove his innocence.
Emman is grateful and also hopes that Leo will be able to help them with the search for the syndicate. He then brings up his and Celine’s suspicions of the Hernandez family and Sam worries about how it would affect them if proven to be true.Anton goes to see Franco and charges him to make sure that someone finds ‘the boy’s body’.
Amelia comes upon the scene and she isn’t the least bit happy. While Analyn apportions some money for her house bills and the tuition of her siblings, Amelia confronts Anton about how his ridiculous plan could bring them unnecessary trouble. She taunts him with his obvious intention of trying to split up Celine and Emman for good.
Amelia berates Anton’s careless plan and talks down on his obsession with Celine. Anton gets in her face and taunts her with how everything he’s been doing is for their family – had it not been for his contributions, her son Lester wouldn’t be alive today. In the meantime, Emman has a talk with Sam about the ever decreasing odds of Robbie still being alive. He gets emotional and quite worried.
Sam strives to console Emman and give him reassurance. One thing leads to another, with Sam stealing a ki$$ in the process before Emman comes to himself. Linda counsels her daughter about the trouble her suspicions of the Hernandezes could cause for them. She soon receives a phone call from Amelia, telling her that Lester is finally back home now. Celine observes silently.
Bernie confronts Analyn over his father’s visit, just as Celine goes with her mother to the Hernandezes to go and see Lester who for some reason hasn’t still regained consciousness yet. She gets quite emotional as she stares at Lester and reflects on a memory with Robbie.
Presently, Celine checks Lester’s chest and she breaks down and runs off as Anton, Amelia and Araceli look on. Linda follows her daughter out to go and check up on her. As Amelia spies and listens in, Celine laments over how she can’t shake off the feeling that the heart beating inside Lester’s body could be Robbie’s.
At the NIA, Marcelo shows Sam an old article regarding the heart transplant Anton had undergone years ago. He can’t seem to understand how Anton’s family had gotten the money for such an expensive operation.Sam indulges Marcelo and asks him for updates on the SIM card she had given him the other day.
Out of nowhere comes Dante to announce that the cadaver of a boy has been found. It doesn’t take long for Emman to receive a phone call pertaining the very same matter. Sam meets up with Emman and his father at the morgue and sadly recounts how the body had matched with Robbie’s dental records.
Sam also notes that the boy had undergone open heart surgery and had his heart removed. She then expresses her sympathies. A moment later, Emman goes to see the remains of his son and he breaks down and curses at the perpetrators, all the while lamenting over how he had failed to keep the promise he had made to his son. Sam and Nick look on sadly as Emman cries his heart out.
