Cardo & the Vendetta Rescue General Borja. Wounded Terante Escapes.
“We must draw up a plan. Vendetta outsmarted us, but this better be the last time.”
Brandon informs his equally despiçable father about how General Borja still refuses to talk in spite of how the men had k!lled the detainee right in front of him. He’s eager to deal with him personally but Lucas objects to it. A moment later over phone, he thrêatens Delfin that he would go after his family if he continues not to cooperate.
Cardo and the Vendetta continue to tail Terante’s convoy on the road, with our favorite hero taking the lead to block the way. He fires at the car tires and successfully traps Terante. What follows is a güñ battle where the several members of the Vendetta take out the security detail. Cardo then unloads on Terante’s car with a barrage of büllets.
Our favorite hero holds the wounded Terante at guñpoiñt and demands to know where his grandpa is. As Terante pleads for his life, Cardo seethes and drags him out of the car. In the meantime, the goons at the holding facility are at it again tørturiñg some random opposer of Lucas’ administration in their attempt to get Delfin to talk.
Terante agrees to tell Cardo what he wants to know. Delfin has seen enough of the brutality of the crooks so he agrees to talk personally to Lucas. Brandon reports to his father the recent development and they gladly sets off for the holding facility together, eager to get the information to get rid of Cardo and the Vendetta for good.
Cardo and the Vendetta take Terante hostage and compel him to take them to where Delfin is being held. Once there, they leave him in the custody of George and the girls before proceeding to infiltrate the holding facility. General Marquez meets up with his lackeys at camp Crame and buys off their loyalty.
Billy, Chikoy and Vargas deliberate on how to save General Borja and the others who disappeared on Lucas’ orders. A couple of honest officers in CIDG headquarters discuss about the huge bonus their colleagues have been receiving from Terante and they resolve to remain true to their duties and not get swayed by money.
Cardo and the members of the Vendetta split up and take the crooks stationed outside the holding facility by storm. Lucas is still on his way over with Brandon. They’re still unable to reach Terante on phone and they begin to wonder if something had happened to him. Teddy has a talk with his wife and son about the victims of Lucas’ administration, General Borja inclusive.
With the growing number of people disappearing, Margie gets worked up to learn that her niece Denise had gone out at such an ungodly hour. When she returns home, Margie gives her a much needed scolding and reality check. In spite of Virgie’s misgivings, JP decides to help out his father with the articles he’s been writing on the missing citizens and officers.
Terante’s hounds seem to be getting worried because they haven’t been able to get in contact with their puppet master for a while now. The Vendetta make their presence felt as Cardo strives to slip into the building to rescue his grandpa. While the action is ongoing, the goons inside try to get rid of Delfin before he’s rescued. However, Cardo shows up and finishes them off in style.
Romulo, Anton and the other members of the Vendetta continue to take on the goons outside, just as Cardo slips out of the building with his grandpa and fights off their opposers. The wounded Terante makes it his mission to provoke and outsmart George and he successfully takes him hostage to escape.
“We don’t know what happened to them,” Brandon says to his father after failing to reach the goons on phone. “Will we still go there?”
Lucas mulls it over for a while before addressing his driver. “Radio the lead car: we’ll go back to the Palace.”
General Borja joins the fight and works alongside our favorite hero to take out their ättaçkers. The güñ battle drags on for a little while before the goons are eventually dealt with for good. At home, Elmo gets worried about the safety of the family following what had befallen those who had denounced President Cabrera.
Cardo returns safely with Delfin to find George wounded and learns of Terante’s escape. Lucas arrives back at the Palace with his son and deploys some of his men to the holding facility to find out the situation there and report back to him. Meanwhile, General Borja encounters Romulo and the other members of the Vendetta.
Delfin takes aim at the guys and Cardo defuses the situation before it can escalate, explaining that they’re not the enemy but had helped with his rescue. Delfin makes out Jerome, Soriano and General Olegario from the group. Eventually, he has the pleasant surprise of coming face-to-face with President Hidalgo.
“I’m glad to see you alive,” Delfin states. “The reports we received about you were not good.”
“That’s true,” Oscar notes. “Now I’ve aligned myself with Vendetta in what they’re fighting for.”
In Terante’s attempt to get away, he ends up getting into an accident and some random citizen finds him. The rotten officers check out the facility and report back to Lucas about how it had been ãssaülted. Lucas asks about Delfin and he’s upset to learn that he had escaped. Grandma Flora has a talk over the phone with the public prosecutor.
The members of the Vendetta finally return back to the hideout in Baseco to reunite with their allies and lōvêd ones. Nick tends to his cousin’s günshøt wound while Cardo introduces Delfin to Efren and Melba. Tension at the Palace is getting to an all-time high over what could have befallen Terante. Lucas soon receives a phone call from one of his men about Terante being admitted at the hospital.
Brandon and Lucas seem glad to learn that Terante is still alive but the look on Hipolito’s face suggests otherwise. The two rotten cops Kapus and Panting pay a visit to Councilor Gina to extort some money from her in order to keep protecting her illëgâl businesses. In the hallway, Margie overhears an incriminating exchange between the two cops about Councilor Gina.
Hipolito expresses his fake concern for Terante. Brandon can’t seem to understand how the Vendetta had managed to find the facility, and Lucas states that they would know for sure after he speaks with Terante. Hipolito then asks of what their next line of action would be and Lucas announces that he had called for an emergency meeting.
“We must draw up a plan. Vendetta outsmarted us, but this better be the last time,” Lucas declares.
