Cardo & The Vendetta Plot To Rescue General Borja.
“We need to make our move soon. We have no other choice. We have to face the enemy head-on. We will do everything we can to save grandpa Delfin. Cabrera and Terante will pay for this.”
The episode picks up from where General Borja is being strangled by the disgruntled goon. The crook only stops when another points out that he would have to explain himself to General Terante if their prisoner dies. Homer plots to devise a plan to get rid of Terante and make Lucas realize that Hipolito is more competent than ‘that arrogant bãstârd’.
Hipolito declares that Homer is a scümbag but hopes that it plays out like that. Terante comes to see Delfin in the holding facility to question him about the whereabouts of his grandson. Delfin insists he has no idea and trades some words with him. Before leaving, the rotten official gives his hounds the signal to beãt up Delfin some more.
Jerome tries to call General Borja to ask him for updates on their case but isn’t able to reach him one phone. Going with Soriano’s suggestion, he calls Billy and he’s shocked to learn about what had happened to Delfin. In no time, Jerome informs Cardo about the troubling news. Our favorite hero seethes and won’t let the injustice slide.
“We need to make our move soon,” Cardo declares. “We need to save my grandfather.”
Grandma Flora is quite emotional as she takes in the photos, tributes and other belongings of her brother. She caresses his police uniform and holds close to her heart an old family portrait of herself, Delfin, the late Pablo and her grandsons. In the meantime, Cardo informs the rest of the group about how Terante had had his grandfather arrested.
Yolly gives Flora comfort and assures her that Billy and his men won’t stop until they find Delfin and bring him back home safely. At camp Crame, team Billy question a higher up about General Borja’s situation but they don’t get anything. While Cardo and the Vendetta deliberate on where Delfin might be held, Lucas calls Terante for updates on the mission he had given him.
Cardo pushes for the group to find his grandpa before something worse is done to him. When Romulo asks how they would go about it, our favorite hero states that they would keep an eye on the new PNP chief since he’s the one who arrested General Borja. Speaking of, Terante makes a solemn vow to break Delfin and make him give in.
Billy and his team consider opening an investigation to look for General Borja themselves, just as Terante and his minions begin to plot against them. The kids are distressed over the disappearance of their grandpa and Flora resolves to console and strengthen them. Teddy has a talk with Jonathan about Delfin’s situation. At camp Crame, Terante introduces the new CIDG chief, Fernando Marquez.
Cardo and the members of the Vendetta, with President Hidalgo inclusive, make their weäpoñs ready and head for the boat bound for Manila. At the Palace, Lucas entrusts an important position to VP Albert and charges him to ensure that all the local government officials would obey and cooperate with them, especially the mayors.
Billy pays a visit to Flora to inform her that Delfin has officially been dismissed as the Director of the CIDG. Flora is grateful for the loyalty of the guys as they make known their intention of searching for Delfin themselves. She also reveals her plan to get a lawyer to fight her brother’s case.
In the meantime, the Vendetta arrive in the city and decide to head for the CIDG headquarters in search of Terante. “That would be like walking straight into the lion’s den,” George voices out.
“We have no other choice,” Cardo declares. “We have to face the enemy head-on if we want to save grandpa Delfin.”
At the hideout in Baseco, Aubrey plans to teach more of the neighborhood kids about art and how to take care of the environment. At the Palace, Lucas introduces Damian, his new secretary to his wretçhed son. Turns out that he had had his previous secretary kĩdnäpped. Said secretary is törtùred by the goons in another cell in the holding facility.
Delfin is distressed with the agonizing cries of the unfortunate guy. As Aubrey proceeds to educate the kids, Lucas assigns Damian to deal with a few news outlets that continue to ãttaçk his misërãble administration. Damian vows not to let him down. Grandma Flora goes to the public attorney’s office to ask for help with her brother’s case. The lawyer agrees to help Flora file a case.
Cardo continues to drive his Jeep somewhere in the city. “We will do everything we can to save grandpa Delfin. Cabrera and Terante will pay for this.”
Jerome and Soriano worry that it would be a dangerous move to get into camp Crame and Cardo states that they have no other choice and the best they can do is to be extra cautious. The taxi driver carrying Flora and Yolly begins passing terrible remarks against the Vendetta and those they’re connected to and Yolly shuts him up.
After listening to Terante’s ridiculous announcement on the radio for a while, Flora asks the driver to take them to camp Crame. A moment later, she arrives there with Yolly in search of Terante and soon comes face-to-face with the crook. Flora is worked up and wants to know where her brother is but the rotten official refuses to do so and begins throwing allegations.
Flora makes pathetic futile attempts to reason with the rotten Terante. Not satisfied with his monstrosity, Terante actually thrêatens to get Flora arrested too if she doesn’t stay quiet and becomes a person of interest. And with that, he carries his despiçable self away. Yolly is then left to console Flora, just as Cardo and the Vendetta are still on the road.
