Jenny & Psyçhö Shannon Scheme Against Pinky. Pinky Comes Close To Clearing Her Name & Exposing Jenny.
Betsy reprimands Pinky for making a fòöl out of her and wasting her time over nothing. Pinky is dumbfounded and can’t even find where she left her brain to make sense of the situation. Psyçhö Shannon and Jenny spy as she walks away in such a misërãble manner. It doesn’t take long for Pinky to go and see Miss Gao and inform her about how she had lost the 10 million cheque.
Miss Gao scolds Pinky for being so careless. Pinky figures that it might be Shannon who took the cheque and when she mentions it, Giselle takes offense at that. A moment later, Pinky goes with Windsor to the bank and they have them agree to help them – if someone tries to cash the cheque, they would be alerted immediately.
Psyçhö Shannon spies as they stand together by the roadside. Shannon glares with mürdērous eyes directed at Pinky and vows to knock her deãd the next time she finds her alone. When she returns home, Miss Gao makes a futile attempt to get her to take her pills.
When she brings up the issue with the missing cheque, Shannon throws a fit. Jenny offers Jack a more suitable position at Venus. Jack turns down the offer since he’s certain that she had gotten back the company through shady means. He cautions her to stop her dirty tricks for her own sake and their son’s.
In the meantime, Pinky notices Pauline wearing a ring that has a striking resemblance to that of Miss Gao’s. When questioned, Pauline reveals that her uncle had given it to her and told her that it belonged to her mother. Pinky begins to wonder if Pauline could be Giselle’s Mini.
She goes to the car washing company to ask Mr. Hung about it. Though he denies it flat out, Pinky connects the dots and realizes that Pauline is actually Giselle’s daughter, Mini. At Dr. Queen, Jenny meets up with Shannon to plot against Pinky. Suddenly, Pinky shows up to föôlishly confront them about the missing cheque.
After Pinky leaves, Jenny worries about being exposed but Psyçhö Shannon is indifferent. She declares that Pinky would be shocked when she finds out where the money had gone to. Outside Xu Feng, Betsy eavesdrops as her husband talks with Giselle about their past and Mini. Once Giselle leaves, Betsy shows up to question Gordon and he trivializes the matter.
Miss Gao personally fills in Betsy on her history with Gordon and confirms that Mini was her daughter with Gordon when she had been engaged to him before. Betsy begins to throw a fit so Giselle calls for security to escort her out. At home, Mr. Hong beats himself up for letting his wife and children down, and he even calls himself “an old fòöl”.
Jack and Shirleen sympathize with him and urge him to apologize to their mother for keeping the truth from her all these years. Pinky indeed has the shock of her life when she learns that a villa had been bought in her name for 10 million. As if on cue, Psyçhö Shannon shows up just then and Pinky confronts her about it. Of course she plays dumb and turns the tables.
Pinky informs her brother about the trouble she’s in. Psyçhö Shannon wastes no time to go and show her dear mother proof of where the 10 million had gone. She makes it her mission to discredit and incriminate Pinky. Still, Miss Gao harbors doubts that Pinky could be capable of such a thing.
Ethan goes with Pinky to the pawnshop to ask about the house deed, and when the pawnbroker plays dumb, he thrêatens to drag him to the police station to settle the matter. After Ethan intimidates him, Pinky cautions that he won’t escape punishment if Jenny is imprisoned for stealing the deed. Eventually, the pawnbroker admits that Jenny had come to redeem the house deed with 10 million.
Pinky comes to the realization that everything that has been happening is all Jenny’s dirty tricks – she stole the deed to the house, ãssaülted Shirleen, and stole her cheque with the help of Shannon. On this note, she plans to figure out a way to prove her innocence and let the police take care of it. Just then, a phone call comes in from Miss Gao.
Giselle questions Pinky about the villa that had been bought in her name and Pinky strives to make her see that Jenny is behind it. Giselle is faced with a dilemma – not knowing whether to believe Shannon or Pinky. Meanwhile, Jenny plots with psyçhö Shannon to sue Pinky for embezzlement and make her lose everything she has.
While psyçhö Shannon strives to manipulate her mother against Pinky, Betsy suffers a ‘nightmare’ where her husband and Giselle happily dine together. In the dream, when she confronts Gordon for cheating on her, he rewards her with a slãp as Giselle looks on casually. Betsy startles awake and begins cursing at Gordon.
Betsy storms out of the bedroom and when she finds her husband sleeping peacefully on the sofa, she grabs a glass of water and grudgingly pours it on his face, startling him awake. She then begins ranting and the commotion brings out everyone. Shirleen and the others try to calm her down, only for Betsy to scream her lungs out like a lünatiç and run back into the bedroom. Gordon looks on in disbelief.
