Terante Has General Borja Arrested. Cardo & The Vendetta Consider Their Next Move Carefully.
“Why should we be scared of them? We were the ones who elected those people in government. The government should be serving the people, not scaring or threatening us! It’s high time we fight the corrupt system that Lucas has fostered.”
The episode begins with the PNP ceremony of the assumption of command where General Terante is promoted to become a Director General. The rights are read and Lucas gladly oversees the formality for the change of command. Having been sworn in as the new chief of the PNP, Terante gives a blasted speech about how he would do everything to reinstate peace and order in the country. He then issues a warning to the supporters of the Vendetta.
While the members of the Vendetta dine together peacefully at their hideout, Terante continues with his dubious act much to the applause of the audience. Among the audience, Billy, Chikoy and Vargas watch and listen silently with disgust, worried that Terante and his cohorts will give them a hard time. Lucas soon mounts the podium and charges the officers to fully support their new chief.
Anton and a couple other members of the Vendetta resolve to stand guard in various vantage points in hopes of protecting the neighborhood and their hideout from the enemy’s infiltration. Anton has a talk with Soriano, and he’s quite hopeful that they can fix the government’s rotten system once President Hidalgo regains power. Also, Earthworm and Tadpole discuss about the plight of the country. Bubbles joins Jerome and apologizes for how she had almost shot him during their mission to rescue Aubrey.
Jerome trivializes the matter, and when Bubbles asks if he’s married yet, he replies in the negative. Bubbles also says she’s also not married yet but hopes to have a family with lots of kids. They talk about their relationship preferences, with Bubbles giving hints of her apparent attraction to Jerome. At the Palace, Brandon brings his wretçhed father huge bundles of money and informs him that there had been a meeting between the biggest gambling lords in Luzon.
Reportedly, the gambling lords are willing to offer 25 million every week for protection from the government. Lucas charges Brandon to always cover his tracks and he in turn promises that no one outside the Palace would know about it. At the hideout, President Hidalgo, Cardo and the others deliberate on their next move against the rotten government. Oscar wants them to make their move already but Diana suggests that they tread carefully since their enemies are powerful.
“Our country’s in a really bad situation,” Cardo notes. “Why should we be scared of them? We were the ones who elected those people in government. The government should be serving the people, not scaring or threatening us!”
President Hidalgo agrees that the people must be awaken. “It’s high time we fight the corrupt system that Lucas has fostered.”
Hipolito informs Lucas about his scheduled meeting with a mining agency that is ready to offer them hundreds of millions. As he tries to give more details, Lucas snubs him to answer a phone call from Terante. Lucas is made aware of the disappearances of officers Jerome and Soriano from active duty. Terante has included them in the manhunt and when asked about General Borja, he declares that he’s next on the list.
Terante doesn’t waste time to make a public announcement about the disappearances of Jerome and Soriano and their probable alliance with Cardo and the Vendetta. At the hideout, Ramil asks Romulo when they would make their next move and Romulo tells him that they have to lie low for now. Ramil hopes that Cardo will be able to come up with a plan soon before it’s too late. Terante has General Borja arrested for supposedly conniving with Cardo and the Vendetta.
When Lucas gets wind of it, he charges him to make Delfin talk and give up the location of the troublesome vigilante group. Brandon being a lôvër of chaos offers to torture Delfin to dëāth. With General Borja detained at an undisclosed location, Billy and his team begin to worry about the fate of the police force and who they could go to for help. In Baseco, Patrick makes deliberate attempts to convince his family to send Ana and Aye back to their mother.
Efren calls for a meeting with some community leaders to discuss about their country’s situation. He assures them that not every news on TV against the Vendetta is true. Melba contradicts the reports of the dëāth of President Hidalgo and reveals that he and his daughter are staying with them – they had been rescued by Cardo and the Vendetta.
Everyone agrees that with the help of our favorite hero and his group, the country’s problems could be solved. On that note, they would protect them.During a meeting between Lucas and his partners in crime, a secretary of the justice system speaks against the unlawful detainment of General Borja and makes a futile attempt to reason with Lucas on the matter.
Mayor Adonis has a few exchange of words and opinions about Delfin’s arrest with Margie. Lucas plans to replace all the opposition members of his administration with his trusted allies. In Baseco, a buddy of Patrick’s asks to be shipped with his sister Marie.
“And we’ll be pushers-in-law?” Patrick scoffs.
“Your future kids will be runners,” jeers one of the other guys.
Marie is questioned by Rosa about the whereabouts of her kids. The despiçable woman says she misses them because she has no one to do the house chores anymore. Patrick comes over with his buddies and for some reason, he seconds his sister’s claim that they have no idea where Ana and Aye are. Margie pays a visit to Grandma Flora’s family to inform them about the arrest of General Borja. Flora and her family are distressed with the news.
When Efren comes to know of Rosa’s search for her kids, he plans to continue keeping them in his protective custody. If Rosa storms his property to take back the kids, he would run her off by threatening to report her illegal drüg dealings to the police. Teddy calls Flora to express his concern about Delfin’s situation and decides to continue writing his articles on the injustices of the Cabrera administration.
Delfin sits dejectedly in his cell and reflects on how Terante and his minions had taken him out of camp Crame, knocked him out and transported him to the holding facility.
Later that night at camp Came, Billy, Chikoy and Vargas deliberate on how to find where General Borja had been taken before something worse happens to him. In the meantime, Delfin worries about what’s become of his beloved country. Also, he wonders how Flora, the children and Cardo are doing right now.
