Giselle Finally Agrees to Windsor & Pinky’s Marriage. Shannon’s Return Spells Disaster for Pinky & Windsor.
Jenny arrives home to retrieve her coat from the closet and she hurries out and dumps it into the dustbin outside the house. She then hurries off, unbeknownst to her that Pauline had seen her. Out of curiosity, Pauline takes a look inside the dustbin and when sees the coat, she decides to take it for her and innocently wears it right away.
In the meantime, Pinky informs Miss Gao about Jenny’s takeover of Venus.Pinky and Giselle both come to the realization that Jenny had sold the deed to the house in order to get the money to buy Venus back. Pinky plans to dig up evidence against Jenny in order to get justice for the ãttaçk on Shirleen, and Giselle assures her that she would do anything to clear her name.
Talk turns to the upcoming wedding and Giselle begins to treat Pinky with indifference on account of her insistence to marry Windsor in spite of her misgivings. While Windsor has a moment with Pinky and her family at the villa, Miss Gao makes a surprise appearance and shocks everyone by finally agreeing to the marriage. Windsor and the Lins are delighted.
As Jenny gloats over the fact that she’s the boss of Venus again, she receives a phone call from the previous owner before Pinky. Shirleen is brought home after being discharged from the hospital. Shirleen isn’t hopeful of recovering and Betsy assures her that she would get better. However, if she doesn’t, then she would make Pinky pay dearly. Jack has an exchange of words with her on the matter.
In no time, Jenny arrives home in a rush to announce Pinky’s upcoming wedding with Windsor. Betsy berates Pinky as usual and Jack storms out of the house to go and make a scene at Xu Feng. He confronts Windsor and an altercation ensues. Mr. Lin calls out Jack’s horrible treatment of Pinky in the past and berates him.
After Jack warns Windsor not to touch Pinky and shæmelëssly declares that she’s his wife, Mr. Lin has some security guards throw him out. Pinky encounters the Hong couple and after Betsy greets her with a slãp, she begins ranting and accusi her of seducing Jack and hurting Shirleen. When she tries to hit her again, Pinky grabs her hand and declares that she’s no longer the pushover she used to know.
Pinky makes mockery of how broke the Hong family has become. If Betsy ever tries to hurt her again, then she would make her pay. And with that, Pinky shoves her away and gets into her car to drive away. She unwittingly drives by Shannon who’s walking on the pavement with her luggage.
While Pinky and Windsor go shopping for their wedding dresses and have a glorious photo-shoot together, Shannon gladly arrives home. Shannon has a feel of Windsor’s room and gushes over the thought of him.
As soon as she sets eyes on a photo of Windsor and Pinky, she grabs the photo and stares at it for a while before dropping it in shock. With the photo-shoot over and done with, Pinky gets distressed when she realizes that she’s lost her ring. Windsor strives to calm her down and fortunately, the ring is found by one of the media crew.
Windsor then takes the opportunity to propose to Pinky again. When Shannon sees the changes that have been made in her bedroom, with drawings of Pinky all over the place, she throws a fit and begins wrecking the place angrily. Madness alert. Could this be a psyçhötic breakdown in display?
Anyway, Miss Gao arrives home and she’s taken by surprise when she hears the voice of her daughter crying from upstairs. She painstakingly heads into the room and she’s glad to see that she’s really alive. Giselle gladly reunites with her ticking time bømb of a daughter. She begins bombarding her with questions of her whereabouts. In the meantime, Windsor drops off Pinky home and has a sweet banter with her.
They say their goodbyes and Pinky is obliged to give him a peck on the cheek. Windsor isn’t satisfied with that so he tries to ki$$ her on the lips, only to be interrupted by a notification sound from his phone, Windsor checks the text message he received after watching Pinky head inside. It’s from Giselle and she says Shannon is back home.
Windsor is shocked. He hurries home and his mother recounts to him how Shannon had claimed to have been treated at a hospital because she had gotten pneumonia. When Windsor asks Giselle why she doesn’t seem happy with her daughter’s return, she tells him that she feels like there’s something wrong with Shannon. Miss Gao fears that her daughter might have become a little bit unbalanced.
To put it bluntly, she thinks Shannon might be out of her mind so she urges Windsor not to tell her about his upcoming wedding with Pinky. According to her, Shannon had expressed her utmost dislike for Pinky when she had told her that she’s her adoptive daughter. In no time, Windsor goes to see Shannon in her room and she gets quite excited.
When Windsor sympathizes with Shannon for what she had gone through, she outright asks him to marry her the very same day in order to make it up to her. Giselle exchanges looks with Windsor and when she tries to reason with her daughter, she snaps and begins ranting like the psyçhö that she is. Giselle manages to calm her down but that only lasts for a short moment as Shannon begins cursing Pinky for taking over her room.
Giselle and Windsor look on helplessly as Shannon continues making a scene and asking if they like Pinky more than her. She makes a solemn vow not to allow Pinky to set foot in their house anymore.
Shannon says she won’t share her mother with Pinky and neither will she allow her to steal Windsor from her. For the hundred time in a row, Miss Gao strives to calm down her lünatiç daughter. Pinky is delighted with the sweet smelling flowers Windsor had delivered to her office.
Over the phone, Windsor tells Pinky of his plan to find a suitable apartment for the two of them. When Pinky reminds him that they had agreed to live together with Miss Gao after they get married, Windsor assures her that his mother isn’t against it.
In no time, Miss Gao manages to get Shannon out of the house by making Windsor take her out for a walk. She then goes through her luggage and she’s shocked to find a card belonging to a psychiatric treatment center.
Giselle also finds some pills under the clothes. In the meantime, Windsor ignorantly takes his car to the carwash and he steps out to get some fresh air.
The ironic thing is that Jack is the one who ends up cleaning his car. After locking gazes with him, Jack stops and when he sees Shannon inside the car, he goes to puñch Windsor for having another woman in his company when he’s set to marry Pinky. An altercation ensues. Shannon hurries to Windsor’s defense and asks Jack why she had hit her brother.
Windsor manages to talk her out of making a scene and after he leaves with Shannon, Gordon comes over to caution his son to stop causing trouble because it’s not easy to find a job. Jack can’t seem to understand why Windsor had called ‘that girl’ Shannon. Miss Gao pays a visit to the psychiatric treatment center and learns that her daughter suffers from severe depression.
Shannon walks happily with Windsor to a restaurant of sentimental meaning. She recounts how she had expressed her feelings for him on her 18th birthday celebration. Windsor says he’s glad that she had come back alive but hopes that they remain as brother and sister.
He reveals that he’s in lövê with someone and would be getting married soon. At the sound of that, Shannon snaps as she figures that the woman is Pinky. She asks if he had wished her deãd so he could be with Pinky forever. Windsor is appalled that Shannon could come up with such a terrible thought.
