Pinky Finds Evidence Against The Real Culprit Who Had Åttaçked Shirleen. Shannon Sees Windsor With Pinky. Jenny Takes Over Venus. Pinky Frustrates Jenny With The Truth.
At the hospital, the doctor informs the Hongs that Shirleen suffered eye damage due to the heavy blow to the head. Appalled, Betsy asks if it means her daughter would go blind, and the doctor tells them to prepare themselves for the worst.
Gordon feels guilty for the misfortune as he believes that it’s karma at work. However, Betsy blames Pinky and accuses her again of ättaçking Shirleen. She vents out her anger on her and gets physical. Windsor comes to Pinky’s defense and Jack rewards him with a puñch to the face. Pinky stops the fight, takes the blame and runs off.
Windsor then gives Jack a look before going after her. Pinky is miserable over what had happened to Shirleen and as Windsor consoles her, Miss Gao notices them as she happens to pass by in her car. Having no shame, Jenny shows up at the hospital to ‘sympathize’ with Betsy on account of Shirleen’s condition.
Jenny doesn’t pass up the chance to blame Pinky for the incident and Betsy couldn’t agree more. A moment later, Jenny pawns off the deed to the villa to get a loan and she calls the previous owner of Venus and asks her to make the purchase on her behalf.
Betsy storms the villa to confront Pinky and lash out at her for supposedly ättaçking Shirleen. She makes quite a scene though Pinky insists that she’s innocent. Pinky decides to go with the policemen to give her statement and a moment later, she calls her mother from Venus to assure her that she’s fine.
Windsor comes to check up on her and Pinky tells him that the house deed is missing. She shows him the button Shirleen had been holding on to and speculates that the owner is the one who had åttaçked Shirleen. She concludes that Jenny was the one who had stolen the house deed.
Shirleen finally wakes up and begins to make a fuss when she realizes that she can’t see anything. Betsy manages to calm her down by assuring her that she would recover soon. Gordon asks what had happened to her and Shirleen recounts how someone had pushed her from behind.
Betsy insists Pinky is the culprit but Shirleen doesn’t think so. In no time, Windsor comes to see Shirleen, bearing a bouquet and Betsy throws it away and lashes out at him. Pinky shows up and Betsy is amazed to see that she hadn’t been imprisoned.
Pinky declares that she hadn’t åttaçked Shirleen but Betsy and her husband won’t believe her. As they argue and Pinky tries to reason with Shirleen, Windsor compares the button to Shirleen’s coat. Shirleen recounts how she had heard her ättaçker calling her by her name and Pinky concludes that it must be someone who knows her.
Betsy continues to throw a fit and resolves to kick Pinky and Windsor out of the room. When Windsor tells Pinky that he’s confirmed that the button isn’t Shirleen’s, Pinky deduces that it must belong to Jenny. At the new Hong residence, Jenny gives Betsy and Jack some money she had supposedly gotten from a new job.
Betsy takes hers to pay for Shirleen’s hospital bill but Jack refuses to accept Jenny’s money because he doesn’t believe that she’s sincere. Jack intercepts Pinky on her way home and promises to make his family drop their case against her as long as she agrees to come back to him.
Pinky scoffs and tells him to cut out his silly büll$hit because she would rather be imprisoned for a wrong she hadn’t done than to have anything to do with him again. Jack makes another pathetic attempt to convince her otherwise. Windsor has a talk with his mother about the unending troubles of Pinky.
Windsor suspects Jenny of being the one who had stolen the deed to the Hong villa and since she isn’t the legal owner of the house, he speculates that she might have used the deed as a pledge to borrow money from a loan shark. Giselle then decides to use her connections to look into it so Pinky’s name could be cleared.
She’s taken by surprise when Windsor admits that he’s already booked a date and venue for his marriage to Pinky. Jenny worries about the possibility of her calculating scheme getting exposed because of the investigation of the police. She soon notices that a button on her coat is missing. In the meantime, Windsor takes Pinky to the seashore to propose to her and asks Shannon for her blessings.
Pinky is reluctant to go ahead with the marriage because she doesn’t want to hurt Miss Gao. However, Windsor promises to do her best to get Giselle to forgive them. An unidentified figure stalks Pinky and Windsor as they leave the seashore. It’s the real Shannon Gao, and she throws a fit and screams her lungs out because of the scene she had just witnessed.
At Xu Feng, Windsor informs Mr. Lin about the good news of his marriage with Pinky which has been scheduled for next weekend. Mr. Lin asks if his mother has agreed to it and Windsor tells him that he would do his best to persuade her.A moment later, Mr. Lin salutes Miss Gao as she passes by but she ignores him and carries on.
In the office, Giselle asks Windsor to fly to LA tonight for a contract signing with one of their clients. Windsor says he can’t go because Pinky has accepted his proposal. Giselle asks him to cancel the wedding but Windsor refuses to do so. Giselle then disowns him and gets up to storm out, only to be intercepted by Mr. Lin.
Mr. Lin goes on his knees and pleads with Miss Gao to accept Pinky as her daughter-in-law because of how much she’s suffered already. Giselle walks away without a single word. Later in her office, she reflects on her first encounter with Pinky, the troubles and how they had bonded thereon.
At Venus, Pinky is gushing over Windsor’s proposal earlier when Jenny shows up in the office to taunt her by announcing that she’s the new owner of Venus. Jenny asks Pinky to grab her stuff and get out. Pinky indulges her and doesn’t seem that surprised.
It’s now her turn to taunt Jenny; Pinky asks Jenny to send a message to the Hong family – the stolen deed to the house will be found very soon and by then, the one who åttaçked Shirleen will be arrested. Pinky ridicules Jenny by telling her that ‘the thief’ was so unclever to leave a significant clue at the crime scene. After Pinky leaves, Jenny gets worried about the missing button and she hurries home to search for it.
