Jack & His Family Struggle With Their New Ordinary Lives. The Real Shannon Returns. Jenny Cooks Up A Sinister Scheme Against Pinky & Shirleen Suffers The Consequence.
Windsor reiterates his wish and intention to marry Pinky and after objecting to it, Miss Gao leaves the dining table without touching her food. Windsor then goes after her. Later that night at the new Hong residence, Jenny makes the mistake of asking Jack to come to bed since he has to wake up early tomorrow to go job hunting.
Jack lashes out at Jenny for lecturing him. He tells her that he’s already divorced her so they can’t sleep in the same bed. When Jenny tries to persist, Jack accuses her of being the root cause of their problems because of the fake products she had sold. Meanwhile, Windsor talks to Pinky on the phone and promises to convince Miss Gao to acknowledge their relationship.
Betsy has trouble sleeping as she keeps tossing and turning in bed. Gordon on the other hand sits nearby in solemn silence, drowning himself in alcohol. The next morning at the villa, Pinky, Mr. Lin and Ethan dress up formally for work and Mrs. Lin is compelled to take on the house chores by herself.
Pinky comes to see Miss Gao at her new office in Xu Feng bearing a bouquet of flowers. Giselle plans on selling Venus for good so she can fully focus on Xu Feng while Pinky runs Dr. Queen. She hands the deed of the villa to Pinky and insists that she and her family keep it. At Xu Feng, Mr. Lin and Windsor both compliment each other’s outfit.
Mr. Lin now works as a security guard and when Windsor the General Manager tells him to just call him by his name, he jokingly says that he doesn’t want to get fired. Pinky shows up and Windsor talks her into going out for coffee. They run into Shirleen outside and Pinky asks for a raincheck with Windsor before going after Shirleen.
Shirleen seems to hold no grudges against Pinky because she acknowledges that her family had isn’t that innocent. When Pinky asks her to reach out to her in case she ever needs something, Shirleen makes it crystal clear that she would always side with her family in spite of the fact that they had greatly wronged her.
Jack has been reduced to a mere cleaner in a car washing company, and his father decides to join him there. It doesn’t take long for him to have an encounter with a former business partner. The guy pities Gordon’s condition and tries to offer him some money but he refuses to take it.
Pinky fires Jenny from Venus since her services are no longer needed. She makes it known that the company will be sold soon, then taunts her with the deed of the villa in her possession. Jenny throws a fit before storming out. She plans to get her hands on the deed and get back Venus. In no time, she reaches out to contact of hers and convinces her to help her.
Jenny convinces Mrs. Hong to put on a show of being sick in order to compel Shirleen to talk to Pinky and have her give back her house. Betsy doesn’t waste time to put the ridiculously, calculating plan into motion and emotionally blāckmails her daughter to get back her house. A moment later, Shirleen meets up with Pinky to plead with her to return her mother’s house.
Pinky makes it crystal clear that she can never do that because she’s certain that her mother is just putting on an impressive performance. Shirleen goes on her knees to plead some more but when Pinky refuses to change her mind, she tells her that she would never forgive her if her mother ends up dying because of the loss of the house.
Jenny spies and vows not to give up. Meanwhile, Windsor has a glimpse of a familiar figure at a certain mall and his efforts to catch up with her proves futile. The person turns out to be the real Shannon Gao in the flesh. Anyway, Pinky has a nightmare of the ordeals she’s been through and when she startles awake, Shirleen’s pleas echo in her head.
The next morning, Miss Gao and Pinky agree to sell off Venus to Mrs. Jang the former owner. Since she doesn’t have the money on hand, she had asked for a period of one week to pay. Pinky informs Giselle of her decision to relinquish the ownership of the villa to the Hongs. She soon calls Shirleen to ask her to come and meet her later at the office.
Shirleen gladly informs her mother about the good news and Betsy gets excited and suddenly recovers from her supposed illness. In the meantime, Jenny sneaks into Pinky’s office at Venus and manages to get her hands on the deed. Shirleen arrives outside the company with her mother and has her stay back while she goes in to get the deed.
Pinky’s assistant asks Shirleen to wait for Pinky in her office. When Jenny notices someone coming in, she hides and pushes the person from behind. Shirleen falls and hits her head on a table and when Jenny crouches near, she holds onto her coat and pleads for her to help her. Jenny breaks off Shirleen’s hold and runs off.
Pinky finally arrivés at Venus and heads into her office to find Shirleen blöôdied and unconscious. She desperately tries to revive her and calls the emergency number. Outside, Jenny spots Betsy still lurking around so she calls her on the phone in order to make an alibi for herself.
Back inside, Pinky finds a button Shirleen had been holding onto tightly in her clasped hand.The commotion inside the office draws the attention of Betsy and she hurries inside to see what’s befallen her daughter.
A moment later, Shirleen is rushed to the hospital and wheeled into the emergency room to be treated. Betsy lashes out at Pinky and blames her for the incident, and Windsor comes to her defense.
When Jack shows up with his father, Pinky explains what had happened but Betsy continues to blame and accuse her. Windsor defends Pinky again and an argument ensues between him and Jack.
In the meantime, Jenny returns home and smiles mischievously when she gets her hands on Betsy’s ID card. Back at the hospital, the doctor announces that Shannon has suffered eye damage due to the impact and is appalled, Betsy asks if it means that she would go blind.
