Anton & Amelia Plot Against Emman. Bernie Suffers A Series of Misfortunes. Sam Tries To Rekindle Her Past Romance With Emman.
Clarissa gives Amelia some takeaways and walks her to her car. She brings up Nestor, Lester’s absentee father and tries to convince her to let her son get to know him but Amelia won’t have that. She goes on about how Nestor isn’t good for Lester and states that she can be both mother and father to her son.
Leo comes over and after he and his wife say their goodbyes, Amelia walks away and receives a phone call. It’s from her mother and she’s surprised to learn that Emman had found Dr. Gomez. Amelia and Araceli decide to come up with a plan against Emman before he brings about their downfall.
Speaking of, Emman comes to see Celine at home and reluctantly tells her of the location Robbie had mentioned when he had called him earlier. Anton meets up with his mother and sister to discuss the best way forward. Since Anton has already dealt with Paraguas, Araceli promises to deal with Dr. Gomez.
Amelia worries about how to get Emman out of the picture. Anton declares that Emman would never find Robbie. Emman beats himself up for his inability to solve his own son’s case when he had been the top agent of the NIA. As Celine tries to strengthen him, her mother spots them and storms over to berate Emman as usual.
The insufferable woman even has the guts to call him a useless good-for-nothing father and continues to lash out at him for putting her daughter’s life in danger. Celine strives to calm her opinionated mother, even as Emman assures her that he would keep Celine safe and get back her grandson.
A moment later, Emman regroups with Sam and Caloy and they head for an old place they had rented in Bonifacio. Once there, Sam reflects on how Emman had left her to stay in Alcala for good. She gets quite emotional and recounts the tons of memories she had made with Emman.
Sam reflects on their past relationship and tells Emman that she still lōvês him. She throws herself at him and asks if he can find it in his heart to lövê her. Emman just stands there silently like a stone. Sam asks if he still lōvês Celine and when he still remains silent, she walks out of the room and slips into her car to cry some more.
Emman observes without a single word, and so does Caloy. In Alcala, Nick finds Bernie’s savings book and realizes that he had been telling the truth all along. Bernie tries to convince Analyn to get back together. He offers her a bouquet, only for her to reprimand him for abandoning his family when they are going through a lot.
Bernie justifies his intention and urges her to take him back. However, Analyn brings up how he had dropped out of school because of his delinquent friends, and had even kept the whole matter a secret from his father. When she charges him to get his act together, Bernie gets upset and begins ranting.
Analyn challenges Bernie to prove himself to his father and everyone else who thinks he’s a bad person. As she turns to leave, Bernie holds onto her and tries to convince her again. Suddenly, Arnold shows up and shoves him away. A fight breaks out and Bernie gets his ass kicked. Analyn announces Arnold as her new boyfriend to compel Bernie to leave.
Later, she apologizes profusely to Arnold for getting him involved in her mess and thanks him for standing up for her. Arnold treats Analyn with indifference and walks out on her. In the meantime, Sam calls his father’s phone only for his wife to pick up and chastise her for calling at such an ungodly hour.
Arnold gets scolded on his return home for getting into a fight. Amelia has a talk with her brother about Emman and laments over how he keeps backing them into a corner. She fears that Emman might eventually get to rescue Robbie. Anton is quite confident that Emman wouldn’t be able to find anything on them.
While Robbie prays for his parents to find him, Amelia tells Anton that she would perform Lester’s operation tomorrow. With the end near, Anton declares that by the time Emman gets to his son, Robbie would just be a cold deãd body.
Amelia says he better make sure. In the meantime, Emman talks to his father on phone and gets to know of his brother’s presence in Bonifacio, courtesy of Analyn. Bernie has gotten himself drunk and he makes the mistake of venting out his anger on some poor car on the road.
The alarm notifies the owner and the guy confronts him and beats him up silly. Caloy talks to Sam on the phone about her apparent feelings for Emman. When he reminds her that Emman still lōvês Celine, Sam points out that they can’t get back together because Celine is about to get married.
Emman observes some photos of Celine and Robbie, confident that their family will be whole again. Sam continues to talk to Caloy on the phone about her relationship with her father. Caloy relates with her since they’re both in the same boat and want to prove themselves to their families.
On that note, Sam promises Caloy that she would do everything in her power to clear his name. The next morning, Celine is talking on the phone with Emman when her irritating mother snatches the phone from her to talk down at Emman. Modern witchcraft in display.
Celine makes a futile attempt to reason with her mother and that leads to another argument. Later, Anton brings Celine to see his big shot uncle Leo who assures her that he would make her son’s case one of their top priorities.
He assures her that the culprits will be brought to justice and suggests that it would be best if Emman stops with his search so his men could do their work. Celine makes know Emman’s suspicions of the police being connected to the organ trafficking syndicate.
General Leo assures Celine that only his trusted personnel would be assigned to the case. A moment later, Leo talks to Amelia on the phone about the matter and promises to bring everything to an end soon. At the NIA, Sam briefs her comrades about Robbie’s case. Major Francisco brings up how Caloy is wanted by the police for k!lling chief Galang.
For some reason, Sam admits that Caloy has been joining her and Emman on their searches.
Colonel Manzano questions Sam, asking if she’s really harboring a criminal. Sam denies it and declares that he believes Caloy had k!lled the chief in self-defense. She insinuates that the late chief had been working with the same syndicate they’re after.
Back in Bonifacio, Nick joins Emman and Caloy at the old house and they discuss about Bernie. Nick regrets how he had mistreated and sent him away. Emman hopes that both Robbie and Bernie would return to them safely.
When Nick asks Caloy if he’s off the hook for shöôting the chief, Caloy tells him that Sam is helping him out with the case. As Nick suggests that he turn himself in to clear things up, Emman notices some policemen at the gate and he gives Caloy the signal to hide.
The officers show Emman a warrant for Caloy’s arrest and suddenly, Caloy slips out through the back and runs out of the house. The policemen chase him down and unfortunately, Caloy ends up getting knocked down by a car, and he’s rushed to the hospital.
