“I wanna thank all of you for saving my life. I made a mistake. And now I hope to ask you a favor – my daughter Aubrey is in grave danger. I have to save her no matter what. And I really need your help.”
While Grandma Flora talks on the phone with her brother and assures him that the family is doing alright, those wretched neighbors are at it again at the mayor’s office. They defame Flora’s family and when Margie defends them, they ask the mayor to make the family leave the community. Adonis says he can’t do that unless they’ve committed a crime or done something wrong. The look on his face says otherwise.
Flora has a talk with her family about their situation. She tells them that if those nosy neighbors decide to show up again, they would face them peacefully. Back at the town hall, Margie treats the mayor with indifference after he’s decided to go and talk with Flora’s family after all.
During breakfast, Oscar breaks away from Cardo and his comrades to brood about his situation. He prays for the safety of his daughter and the strength to overcome all the obstacles and challenges. General Terante meets up with his men and tasks them with the duty of securing the forthcoming funeral and keeping the Vendetta away should they show up there.
He promises to reward them generously once he becomes the new chief of the PNP. On Diana’s request, Cardo goes to talk with President Hidalgo who makes known his fear for his daughter’s safety. Oscar laments over how Lucas had used and betrayed him in spite of how he had treated him like a friend.
Oscar declares that Lucas needs to pay for everything he’s done to his family, because he knows that he would ruin every good thing he had done for the country. He then asks for the help of our favorite hero. Teddy remains determined to keep on writing his newspaper articles and exposes against the government in hopes of helping to restore peace and order in the country.
Virgie makes a fuss and laments over how they would all be in danger if he continues to go against Lucas and his cohorts.Teddy won’t relent. He declares that he’s doing it for their family and the county as a whole. Lucas is at it again, defaming Cardo and the Vendetta in front of the press.
He rants about how his family has been victimized by the unpopular vigilante group. He then announces that he would be granting absolute pardon to Brandon his wretçhed son. At the hideout, Cardo and his comrades deliberate on their situation and how they would tell the president about their worries for the country.
The despicable Lucas wastes no time to have his wretçhed son released from prison. He displays him to the media and when questioned about his selfish decision, he claims that the Vendetta had merely framed him. When Brandon is asked for a comment, he states that he’s happy to be free because he wants to help his father restore peace and order in the country.
No wonder, this rotten apple didn’t fall far from the tree. At the hideout, Cardo returns to the group with Oscar in tow.

Brandon is surprised to learn that Oscar is still alive and being protected by the Vendetta. Still, he promises to help his father deal with anything and anyone that would be a hindrance to their agenda.
Once at the Palace, Brandon suggests that they resume their güñ smuggling business since they’re now at the top. Lucas states that it wouldn’t be necessary because money would no longer be a problem. He’s in talks with international crime syndicates who are ready to pay big money to protect their businesses.
Terante informs Lucas about the plans he’s put in place for the burial of the Hidalgos, and Lucas charges him to make sure that Oscar doesn’t get away again should he show up. In the meantime, Cardo and his comrades proceed to express their grievances to President Hidalgo regarding the terrible living conditions of the people during his administration.
Bubbles laments over how she had been compelled to sell her body to survive because of how hard life was. Ramil admits that he’s a criminal who had been forced to rob banks and other places for a living because of poverty. Also, he had been forced to escape prison because of the hopeless condition there.
Jerome says that though they had been trying their best to be honorable police officers, their efforts had amounted to nothing because they had been surrounded by corrupt officials. He states that the country can’t seem to win the ongoing war against drûgs because police officers themselves are protecting the major syndicates.
“I’ve addressed the problems and provided our country with everything it needs,” President Hidalgo pronounces.
“Like what?” Romulo merely asks. “If you really have done everything for the sake of our country, we wouldn’t be here right now. We wouldn’t need to fight for the rights and welfare of every citizen.”
Alyana goes on about how those in power use taxes for their own selfish agenda. Melba concludes by saying that the president would get to have a firsthand experience of what he’s just been told. The news of the presidential pardon Lucas had granted his own son comes on TV and Grandma Flora’s family criticize the shameful action of Lucas. Cardo and his comrades decide to work with the president to fix the rotten system in the government.
Ramil declares that the group would go after all the corrupt officials ruining the government. When Oscar mentions that their number is too small to take them on, Romulo states that they always triumph in their missions because they have faith in their noble cause. Oscar then decides to join them in their fight.
Welcome the new member of the Vendetta – President Oscar Hidalgo. Virgie makes a futile attempt to talk her husband out of continuing with his articles against Lucas’ administration. Teddy decides to use a penname for his bylines in order to protect his family. Alyana has a heart-to-heart with her husband and expresses her utmost admiration for the noble cause he’s fighting for.
As General Borja and his men discuss the possibility of Lucas appointing Terante as the new chief of the PNP, Terante schemes against Delfin in order to make sure that he doesn’t become an obstacle in the way of his plans. The Vendetta are delighted because of the fruition of Cardo’s plan to get the president on their side. Initially, they had thought that they were going on a suiçidë mission.
Diana states that they would now have a clearer direction in their fight against corrupt officials. Anton notes that their group is too small to take on all those officials and Diana points out that they would take them down one at a time until they eventually get to Lucas. On Diana’s request, Jerome reaches out to General Borja.
Jerome talks to Delfin on phone and briefs him about the president’s near-escape and the terrible truth he had discovered regarding Lucas’ involvement in the annihilation of his family. George’s family look forward to the president clearing the good name of the Vendetta once he regains power.
Marie says she hopes Oscar would accommodate them in the Palace since his family is already gone, and Efren chastises her and states that the most important thing is for their country to recover from the mess. Lucas receives word from a lackey of his, telling him about how Aubrey’s condition is improving.
He charges the goon to keep an eye on Aubrey since she’s the only one left. Meanwhile, President Hidalgo broods by himself and reflects on how the Vendetta had opened his eyes to the truth. Since they’re the only ones he can really count on, he resolves to trust them and hopes that they can help him save his daughter.
