Shannon Tricks Jack & His Father. Shirleen Begins To Get Suspicious of Shannon. Jenny Searches For Evidence To Prove That Shannon Is Pinky.
Shannon (Pinky) returns to the Hung Villa, only to be pampered by Betsy because she was the one who had helped her son to be released. Betsy thanks her and asks that they make peace and Shannon snubs her. She says she’s tired so she’s going to bed.
As soon as Shannon enters the bedroom, Jack takes her by surprise and begins making advances at her but before things can get any serious, Shawn barges in with Pauline in tow and insists on sleeping with his father. Shannon takes advantage and gladly goes to sleep with Pauline.
The next morning, Mr. Hung asks Shannon how she had been able to convince the Lin family to redraw the case against Jack and Shannon plays him for a fòöl. She then suggests that he let Ethan supply his company with materials for their biggest ongoing project. Gordon gladly agrees and also signs the contract without even reading it. Like father like son.
Shannon then talks him into giving the Lin family some compensation money. Windsor informs Ethan about his feelings for Pinky and makes known his intention to marry her once she lets go of all the hatred in her heart. Shannon goes to see Miss Gao to update her about her plans against Jack’s family.
Giselle looks forward to make Gordon file for bankruptcy. In Shufon, Gordon asks Jack to go to the bank and ask for an emergency loan with their current project as a pledge. Jack worries about how to get such money because the project is already in Giselle’s name.
Ethan informs his parents about his talk with Windsor earlier and they’re surprised with it all. Jack returns home to tell Shannon of his plight. Shannon asks if he has any other assets he can use as a pledge to get another loan and Jack reveals that his mother has some gold bars.
Also, the Hung Villa is in Betsy’s name so he would go and ask her about it. Shannon then urges him to try and get Betsy to use her gold bars and the house as collateral. She assures him that he would get the loan he so desperately needs from Miss Gao.
Jack is amazed at how Shannon continuously comes to his aid and he even calls her an angel sent from above. He begins to make out with her, only for Shawn and Pauline to intrude again. Shannon would be sleeping with Pauline again while Jack is stuck with his son.
The next morning, Jack urges his mother to help him out before he k!lls himself. Betsy is reluctant to put up her house for a pledge and Jack assures her that the deal with Miss Gao is completely safe.Shannon brings Miss Gao Betsy’s gold and the papers to the Hung Villa and they both plot to bring Shufon down with their own money.
Giselle charges Shannon to be careful of Jenny since she’s started suspecting her. Meanwhile, Jenny desperately tries to get into Shufon. She gets past the guard and when she finds Shirleen talking with Windsor, she drags her along to discuss something with her. A moment later, Jenny tells Shirleen of Windsor’s feelings for Shannon.
Shirleen dismisses the crazy theories of Jenny and walks out on her. Windsor takes a basket of fruits to the Lin family to formally let them know of his feelings for Pinky. The Lin couple worries about how Miss Gao might react to it negatively. After the meeting, the Lins walk Windsor out of the house, only for them to run into Jenny.
Jenny begins spinning her theories, asking if Shannon whom Windsor lōvês is the daughter of the Lins. Mr. Lin gives Jenny an earful before leaving with his family. Jenny insists that Shannon is Pinky but Windsor disagrees and claims that he had just been having a business meeting with Ethan.
After Windsor leaves, Jenny asks Ethan why they had let Jack go so easily. Ethan comes up with some flimsy reason which Jenny doesn’t believe. She believes Pinky is Shannon and she would find some evidence to prove it. Meanwhile, Shannon runs into Windsor on her way home and urges him to stay away from her before he ends up exposing her secrets to Jenny.
Windsor pulls Shannon back as she turns to walk away. As they stare at each other, Shirleen comes upon the scene and after Shannon heads inside, Shirleen asks Windsor about the woman he lōvês, if she’s really Shannon.
Windsor denies it flat out. Upon his return home, Miss Gao expresses her disapproval over her son getting into a relationship with Shannon. Back at the Hung Villa, Shirleen asks Shannon if she had married her brother for some ulterior motive.
Jack and Gordon arrive home for dinner just then and that’s the end of the interrogation. Later, Shirleen tries to trick Shannon by asking her to make her some ginger tea. She’s amazed that Shannon knows where the ginger tea is kept when it was a secret between her and Pinky.
Shannon explains that she had merely discovered it when she had been tidying up. After receiving a text from Windsor, Shannon heads outside to meet him. She tells him of how Shirleen has began to get suspicious of her.Jenny goes to the Hung Villa with some toys she had bought for Shawna and happens to see Shannon outside with Windsor.
While Jack is looking for Shannon inside, he receives a cryptic message from Jenny. Jack comes out of the house to see Shannon and Windsor hugging and he pulls away his fiancée and punches Windsor in the face. He throws a fit over Windsor’s relationship with Shannon before dragging her inside.
Shannon strives to curtail Jack’s suspicions even as he pushes for them to consummate their union already. Shannon makes it clear that she would only have her once she’s certain that his love for her is genuine because of his history with women.
The next morning, Shirleen catches Shannon in a lie about a college mate and Shannon tries to do damage control. In the meantime, Jenny asks around the swimming club about Shannon and comes to learn that she had initially been scared of water.
Jenny also finds it suspicious to learn that Shannon had told her swimming coach that she had almost drowned before in the past. On that note, she concludes that Shannon is Pinky and begins to wonder why she had decided to marry Jack again. Ethan brings Pauline along to see Miss Gao who tasks him to sign the contract with Shufon Group.
Pauline gets her hands on the old photo with Mimi on the desk and when Miss Gao tries to take it from her, it ends up tearing. Giselle gets upset and has Ethan take Pauline away. Ethan brings Pauline home to inform them of how Miss Gao had told him off because of what Pauline had done.
The Lin couple are inclined to believe that Giselle had acted that way because the photo means a lot to her. Talk leads to Ethan’s relationship with Pauline and when his parents express their disapproval, he gets upset. Mrs. Lin asks her son if he’s in the right frame of mind to concede getting into a relationship with ‘that little ïdiøt’.
After Ethan grabs Pauline and storms out of the house with her, the Lins decide to stop their son from seeing Pauline again, and Mr. Lin begins to wonder if stûpĩdity is infectious. At the Hung Villa, Gordon asks Jack about the loan and he tells his father that he doesn’t need to worry about it. Jack asks about Shannon and when he learns that she had gone to her mother’s, he gets surprised for some reason.
