While the Vendetta lie low and wait for the right moment to strike, vice president Cabrera puts on a public display in front of everyone. In order to ensure the safety of her family, Grandma Flora and her family move into General Borja’s house, much to the displeasure of Councilor Gina.
First Lady Marissa and President Hidalgo take turns to give their speech and they dedicate their awards to their family. The Hidalgos captivate their audience, ignorant of the looming danger.
PSG head Harold Casillag figures out the threat surrounding the First Family and he and his men strive to keep them safe. Danger literally looms in every corner of the university. His cover having been blown, the sniper resorts to drastic action. The members of the Vendetta set off for the university upon hearing the sound of guñshöts.
In the wake of the ensuing chaos, Lucas incriminates the Vendetta for the ãttaçk. Casillag takes matters into his own hands and neutralizes the sniper. Casillag makes the ultimate sacrifice in his unflinching attempt to protect President Hidalgo and his family, much to Lucas’ displeasure.
Upon getting wind of the attempted assåssiñatiøn of the First Family, Cardo and the Vendetta strive to rescue them. When Oscar and his family come under ãttaçk again, the Vendetta spring into action. The Vendetta foil General Terante’s s plan. A crossfire breaks out when Vendetta catch up with the assailants. The Hidalgos escape, only to get ambushed again.
Hipolito gloats over the failure of General Terante’s diabolic scheme. Unfortunately, President Hidalgo suffers some losses in the encounter. The authorities discover the presence of the vigilantes around the university. Our favorite hero desperately tries to catch up with the president and his family, who encounter another ambush.
Oscar and his family are heavily pursued by their assailants and they suffer a series of tragedies. Cardo finally finishes off the goons and comes to behold the fate of the First Family. With the president barely hanging on to dear life, our favorite hero rescues him. The authorities track down the president’s car and strive to save what’s left of his family.
News of the Vendetta’s supposed ãttaçk on the First Family comes on TV and shocks the nation. More bad news as some members of the president’s family are pronounced deãd on arrival while the others remain in critical condition. Meanwhile, Cardo and his comrades bring the president to their hideout in Baseco after saving him.
Lucas takes advantage of the unrest to dehumanize the Vendetta and declare wãr against them. Teddy begins to suspect something fishy going on. The Vendetta and their allies treat the president and try to nurse him back to health. Lucas bids his time to take over the presidency following another dëāth in the Hidalgo family.
Homer plots to betray Hipolito and side with VP Cabrera. The members of the Vendetta try to figure out the actual perpetrators of the ãttaçk on the First Family. With the president’s fate and whereabouts unknown, General Terante cooks up a cunning scheme with vice president Cabrera to enable the latter assume the presidency.
In an attempt to keep his evil scheme intact, VP Cabrera bans General Borja and his men from seeing the last surviving member of the Hidalgo family. Another altercation ensues between VP Cabrera and General Borja. President Hidalgo finally regains consciousness and comes to know of his family’s tragic fate.
Oscar begins to treat the members of the Vendetta with hostility as he’s inclined to believe that they’re responsible for the annihilation of his family. Teddy begins job hunting. Cardo and the Vendetta strive to open president Hidalgo’s eyes to the truth. Oscar plots to escape to reach out to Lucas for help, only to be shocked by Lucas’ announcement on TV.
Lucas gladly occupies the Palace as the final stage of his sinister plan falls into place. President Hidalgo’s hope for Lucas to rescue him is shattered with another gruesome announcement. Lucas secures his takeover as president of the Philippines and plans to get rid of the last surviving Hidalgo.
VP Cabrera is finally sworn in as the next president. Patrick and his questionable buddies have an encounter with the police. Lucas appoints his allies as leaders of the various departments of the government.
He takes his diabolism to the next level by making a public display of the supposed remains of Oscar. Jerome notifies General about the president’s survival. Meanwhile, Oscar desperately tries to escape from the Vendetta.
