Shannon (Pinky) Sçäms Jack & Engages Him. Jenny Crashes The Engagement & Tries To K!ll Shannon.
Gordon asks Shannon (Pinky) why she’s chosen to marry Jack when he’s already married twice, adding that he has a son too. Shannon says she doesn’t care about his past and would treat Shawn as her own. Betsy then tells her not to blame them if things don’t end up well for her.
Cue in Shirleen to express her disapproval and caution her about Jack’s playboy character. Jack comes over to shut up his sister. Shannon makes another attempt to get through to Shirleen but she vows to never accept her as her sister-in-law. Jack leaves with Shannon and apologizes to her for his sister’s rudeness.
When Shannon asks about the key to the safe, he hands it over to her. Shannon then tells him that they would fix the pledge with the lawyer tomorrow, adding that the 50 million would be transferred to his account soon. The next morning, Shannon has Jack meet with Mrs. Gao’s lawyer and manipulates him to sign the contract without even going through it.
Shannon catches Jenny spying when she goes to see Mrs. Gao at Venus with the document, and she chases her off before gladly showing the signed contract to Giselle. She gloats over how she had fööled Jack into placing Betsy and Shirleen’s stocks in Shufon Group as pledges as well.
Giselle is amazed and she points out that they now own more shares in Shufon than Gordon himself. They would become the largest shareholders soon and Giselle would take over the management. Mrs. Gao shows Pinky a photo and message Windsor had sent her.
In the caption, Windsor urges her to stop wasting her life on her ridiculous rëveñge. Giselle agrees with his son and asks Pinky to think twice before moving into Jack’s house.
Nevertheless, Pinky states that she can’t turn back now because rëveñge is a road with no return.
She would take great pleasure to witness Jack’s life destroyed. Giselle then tells her to be careful. Jenny takes a break from cleaning and observes as Shannon and Giselle walk out of the beauty salon. She begins to suspect that they’re planning something.
In the meantime, Betsy goes to a jewelry shop and against the better judgment of her daughter, she buys a diamond worth 500k. She plans to give that to Mrs. Gao as a token of her appreciation for the gifts she had given her. Later, Shirleen tracks down Windsor and urges him to help her stop Jack and Shannon’s marriage.
Windsor turns down the offer so Shirleen reveals to him the hotel and the room the engagement would be held in. She says he should come there in case he changes his mind. At home, Betsy tries to convince her husband to attend the engagement but Gordon flat out refuses because of the shame Jack keeps bringing their family with his divorces and affairs.
After he storms off, Pauline comes over and urges her aunty to take her along so she could see “Pinky’s ghost”. Betsy reprimands her.
While Shannon (Pinky) gets ready for the engagement, Windsor reflects on some memories with Pinky and ponders over Shirleen’s words.
Outside Venus, some employees taunt Jenny with how Jack and Shannon are getting engaged. Jenny stops cleaning and asks if it’s true that they’re getting engaged. The girls confirm it and after they leave, Jenny fumes. On the way to the hotel, Pinky receives a call from the girls and they tell her that they’ve done what she asked of them.
Shannon arrives at the hotel with her mother and they head in with Jack and his family after exchanging some pleasantries. Jenny alights from a cab a moment later and strives to catch up with them. She fails misërãbly so she takes to her heels to find another way into the engagement room.
Meanwhile, Betsy thanks Giselle for the gifts she sent her and shows her the løvely diamond she had gotten for her in return.
Giselle checks out the diamond and thanks Betsy. When Betsy says that it can’t compare to the five sets of jewelry she had given her, Shannon drops the bømb – the jewelry Giselle had given her are fake and not worth that much.
Betsy is appalled. Still, leave it to Mrs. Gao to taunt her with the quality of the diamond. The moment after Jack and Shannon exchange rings, Jenny storms in lashes out at Shannon for trying to take her place in the Hung family.
As the Hungs and Gaos look on in bewilderment, Jenny grabs a bottle and smashes it against the table.
She brandishes the broken bottle and tries to ãttaçk Shannon with it. Fortunately, Windsor shows up to stop her, though he ends up getting wounded in the process. Some security guards come to drag Jenny away and she also gets cut when she steps on the shards of glass. Jack follows and dismisses the guards after they’ve dragged Jenny out of the hotel.
Jack gives Jenny an earful and resolves to tie a handkerchief around her wounded foot in spite of her resistance. As Shannon tends to Windsor’s wound, he urges her to keep him company and not leave. Shannon thanks him for saving her life. She then reminds him that she’s already Jack’s fiancée. Windsor makes another futile attempt to convince Shannon to stop seeking rëveñge. He begins to wonder how he can save her and keep her right by his side.
Mrs. Hung is distressed over the çråzy actions of Jenny earlier at the hotel and Gordon cautions her not to provoke her to avoid any further çråzy display. In the meantime, Shannon watches over Windsor as he sleeps. Giselle offers to help her if she changes her mind but Shannon will push through with her plan. The moment she enters the Hung house, would be the beginning of their nightmares. Before leaving, she asks Mrs. Gao to take care of Windsor for her.
Jack wanders around Shannon’s room and takes note of the countless drawings of Windsor. When Shannon shows, she assures him that it doesn’t mean anything. Jack tries to hold her hand to take her home, only for Shannon to pull away. When he asks what’s wrong, she comes up with a flimsy excuse which Jack swallows. Shannon stares at a drawing of Windsor before leaving with Jack and her luggage.
Somewhere, Jenny walks the street, limping and bleeding from her wounded foot. Ethan spies on Jenny and calls her to ask about where she’s staying after the divorce. Jenny claims that she’s living in a big house and that Jack had given her a huge sum of money that would last her whole life. She then hangs up on him and carries on. Once she reaches her place, Ethan reveals himself.
Once Ethan notices that Jenny is injured, he insists on treating her. Apparently, Jack had called Ethan to check up on Jenny. Ethan takes out a sliver of glass from her foot, saying that he would be leaving after he cleans and dresses her wound. Even if she begs him to stay, he wouldn’t. Jenny stares at Ethan with a hint of interest and awe.
