“I will become the most powerful man in this country. I want his entire family deãd. I need to make sure that Oscar’s entire family is going to the grave with him.”
The episode begins with the president addressing the questions of the media about the Vendetta. At the market in Baseco, Efren defends the Vendetta when some vendors begin badmouthing the group on account of the president’s statement.
Soriano expresses his worries to Jerome about the plan of the Vendetta. Jerome relates with him but states that he understands Cardo and his group because their plan might be the only way to change the country’s rotten system.
While Virgie is nagging her husband about the safety of their daughter in the hands of Cardo and his group, Alyana asks Jerome to watch out for her husband in their upcoming mission. Stating that they’re like brothers, Jerome promises to do everything he can to make sure that Cardo comes back to her alive.
Lucas talks to General Terante on phone, confident that they would be able to pull off the coup d’etat. Somewhere, Terante executes a reporter who had been caught meddling in his business. Lucas is eager to find some means to earn because he’s running out of funds so Hipolito comes up with a shady tactic that would favor them.
While Marissa strives to ease the worries of their kids because of the statement their father had given against the Vendetta, the members of the Vendetta gear up to leave for Manila. General Olegario charges the guys to be careful with their actions since the president is always heavily guarded.
A news reporter covers a story on the checkpoints the authorities have put in place all over the city in order to ensure public safety. Marissa informs her husband about the worries of their children because of the order he had given to the law enforcement authorities regarding the Vendetta.
Oscar states that he had made that decision not only as a president but as a father. He hopes that there will be peace in their country again. Melba and Efren commend Cardo and his comrades for their noble cause. Meanwhile, Councilor Gina is at it again with her criticism of Grandma Flora’s family. She insinuates that Flora’s family might be in cahoots with the culprit who had shôt the late mayor.
Margie begs to differ and Gina resolves to sow fear into those around, saying that the army might storm their neighborhood in search of Cardo and his group. Nevertheless, Margie refuses to believe any of her accusations against Flora and her family. Yolly, Elmo and Wally observe as the rotten councilor blocks Margie from going to her house. She spouts some more nönseñse which Margie ignores.
Margie shoves her away and she accidentally knocks her head against an electric pole. In the meantime, the members of the Vendetta get onboard a boat to sneak into Manila in order to carry out their mission. Somewhere, Lucas meets up with the rotten General to notify him of the right occasion to ãttaçk.
“Just leave it to me,” Terante declares. “Please enjoy the show.”
“Make sure that you succeed,” Lucas urges.
“I’m gonna make sure that Oscar will no longer stand in your way, Mr. President.”
While the Vendetta are on their way to the city, Oscar excitedly informs his wife that they would be attending their alumni homecoming at the university. The event is coming up soon. The lamebrain president reveals that Lucas convinced him to go with her. To make matters worse, he plans to take the children along too. Marissa is at a loss for words. She points out that it might be dangerous lamebrain Oscar has already been brainwashed.
General Terante asks about the president’s family and VP Cabrera orders him to get rid of them as well so they don’t get in the way when he assumes power. Councilor Gina cooks up a devious plan to gain the sympathy of her constituents.
She has her lackeys apply makeup on her face in order to show off her fake injuries and bruises. When the councilor notes that the makeup smells funny like flowers, Nick reveals that he had gotten it from the funeral home. Councilor Gina is appalled and she lashes out at Nick.
Nick points out that a lot of people would feel sorry for her online because she would look like a real cørpsė. Gina says she doesn’t want to dīê yet because she has ambitions of becoming a senator and a president. She looks forward to tarnishing Grandma Flora’s name and reviving their illëgâl businesses once she becomes the president. The guys don’t have much faith for that dream.
President Hidalgo’s intelligence hits an all-time low as he begins whining about how he would punish General Borja along with the Vendetta when he finds evidence that he has been helping out the group. At camp Crame, General Borja begins to wonder whether it’s now the right time for him to inform the lamebrain president about the information he received from Jerome.
Chikoy is right to point out that it wouldn’t be a smart move. The Vendetta dock the boat at a safe place and break into three groups; Jerome and Soriano set out to acquire some cars they could use to avoid suspicion, Ramil’s group will go in search of more weäpoñs while Cardo’s group stays back to survey the Palace.
Alyana worries about the safety of her husband and Bubbles and the Melba strive to ease her anxiety. On their way to survey the exterior of the Palace, George begins to worry about the plan of the group.
“We shouldn’t be afraid,” Cardo declares. “We’re on a mission to save this country.”
Our favorite hero and his comrades resolve to hide their weäpoñs to curtail any suspicion before proceeding with their surveillance of the Palace. Lucas calls his wretçhed son on phone to brief him about his plan to eliminate the First Family. He then promises to get him out after the job is done. Brandon vows to get his rëveñge for Marco once he gets out of prison.
“I will become the most powerful man in this country,” Lucas declares. “I’ll have all of them under my control. And I will do whatever I want. And you’re gonna help me run the whole country.”
Grandma Flora and her family thank Margie for her efforts to defend them and they apologize for getting dragged into their issues with Councilor Gina. Margie says she couldn’t hold back because of the çrazy lies the councilor has been spreading about them. Flora urges her to just ignore the councilor the next time around so things don’t get worse.
Margie promises to never stop supporting them and Flora thanks her and cautions her that they have more powerful enemies than councilor Gina. The Hidalgo kids excitedly look forward to attend their parents’ homecoming at the university. Yohan in particular is eager to send his application and tour the campus. Meanwhile, General Terante plots the assåssiñatiøn of the president.
“The president isn’t our only target,” Terante reminds his goons. “We have to make sure that his family dies with him.”
Hipolito is pretty upset that VP Cabrera had replaced him with Terante. He urges Homer and his dëāth squad to find Cardo and Romulo and bring their heads to Lucas in order to regain his trust.
While Jerome and Soriano manage to acquire some cars from a civilian they had helped out before in the past, Ramil approaches an old friend for assistance. He and Anton make use of their cunningness to get some more weäpoñs for the group. Marissa asks her husband if it is really necessary to take the children to the homecoming.
Oscar says they need to do it because he feels like he’s been neglecting their family. General Terante talks to a rotten cop on phone at the university and asks him to give access to his men when the homecoming event begins tomorrow. As Oscar delights his wife with how he wants to be there for the kids while they’re still young, Terante reports back to VP Cabrera.
“Today is Hidalgo’s last day as president of the country.”
