Jenny Ends Up As A Common Cleaner In Shannon’s (Pinky’s) Company. Shannon Manipulates Jack After He Gets Into Deep Trouble.
Jenny silently observes as Shirleen and Betsy are driven away after leaving Shawn in the care of the maid. Shawn wanders out of the house and thanks to the maid’s negligence, Jenny takes the opportunity to reunite with her son.
She brings him to the room she rented. A When the Hungs return home, Betsy gives the maid an earful for failing to look after her grandson. Shirleen strives to calm her down, even as Gordon reveals that his people are out looking for Jenny.
Gordon leaves to attend to someone who wants to buy Venus. He meets up with the person and is taken by surprise to see that it’s Giselle. After a little chitchat, Giselle hands him the drafted contract to sign and Gordon does so without even reading it. When Giselle questions him about it, Gordon tells her that he trusts that she wouldn’t pull a fast one on him.
Giselle indulges him and hands him the advance, saying that she would transfer the rest of the money to his account after the required procedures. Mrs. Gao turns to leave, only for Mr. Hung to bring up her daughter’s marriage with his son.
Gordon says Jack isn’t good enough for Shannon and Giselle tells him that her daughter knows what she’s doing and she can’t stop him. Gordon suggests that they make peace with each other since they would soon become in-laws.
However, Giselle vows to never forgive him unless he can return Mimi to her. Meanwhile, Jenny makes her son some instant noodles and leaves him to go in search of a job. Following a fruitless job hunt, Jenny has a quite embarrassing encounter with Shannon (Pinky) in town.
Shannon makes mockery of how misërãble she’s become in just a few days after losing Venus. Jenny flees like a chicken about to be slaughtered for a delicious, spicy meal. Anyway, Shannon informs her mother about her encounter with Jenny.
She then makes known her intention to hire her and give her the lowest of jobs to do at Venus. Mrs. Hung receives a handful of gifts from Giselle for the engagement and she gushes with excitement over how expensive they look. She considers getting Mrs. Gao some gifts in return.
Shirleen is still against Jack’s marriage with Shannon. She says her brother is a disgrace for divorcing twice and marrying thrice. She can’t seem to understand why her mother is allowing Jack to marry Shannon. Betsy tells Shirleen that she has no say in the matter and that she shouldn’t act like her father who’s like a dinosaur.
Shirleen receives a phone call from her brother, telling her that he’s found out where Jenny lives. Meanwhile, Shawn is cleaning the windows in the room when he slips and falls from the chair he’s standing on, injuring himself in the process. The boy begins crying for his mommy and Jenny soon arrives and comes to his aid. She carries him outside and begins running for the hospital.
On foot. Shawn continues to cry as he bleeds from the wound on his leg. Jack drives with his sister and mother and he spots Jenny on the road. He pulls over to confront her, asking how their son had gotten hurt. Jenny admits that he had fallen off a chair when he had been cleaning a window.
Betsy and Jack lash out at her while Shirleen takes Shawn from her. Jenny pleads for them to return her son but Shirleen says she can’t help her because she’s not capable of taking good care of Shawn. In spite of her pleas, Jack shrugs Jenny off and leaves as she cries for her son.
Shannon (Pinky) observes and comes over to offer Jenny a handkerchief. A moment later at Venus, she taunts Jenny with how she had gotten rid of her stuff and replaced them with her very own. Jenny gets upset and asks what she wants and Shannon offers to give her a job.
Jenny is reluctant to accept and Shannon manipulates her with her son and talks her into agreeing. Now, Jenny is eager to start work and become the best beautician. However, Shannon declares that she would be doing all the cleaning.
Jenny is appalled but it’s not like she has any other choice. She proceeds to start work as a cleaner and tolerate Shannon for her son’s sake. Jenny plans to buy two tickets and fly away with her son once she’s earned enough money.
Mrs. Gao is taken by surprise to learn that Jenny had actually accepted to be a cleaner. She informs Shannon that her mother has already been discharged from the hospital and Shannon thanks her for taking care of her.
Pauline walks the street with that ridiculous shade of red makeup on her face. She’s gotten lost in her attempt to go to Ethan’s house. Fortunately, Mrs. Gao comes across her and decides to take her along since she’s also going there.
In no time, they arrive there and Mr. Lin receives them warmly. Giselle hands him some tonic she had brought along for Mrs. Lin who’s asleep. Pauline offers Ethan some steaks she had also brought. She suggests that they make steak soup for his mother. Ethan tries to stop Pauline but she insists that she can cook because she used to watch Pinky do it.
Later that night, Giselle drops off Pauline at home and she’s amazed at the sight of the villa Gordon has been enjoying himself in after ruining her life. On that note, she vows to make sure that he loses the house, Shufon Group, as well as his other assets.
Jack is on a date with Shannon when some buddies of his show up and convince him to partake in a supposed lucrative business deal. Shannon returns home to inform her mother about how Jack had taken off with some old friends of his to do business with them.
She figures that it’s a scam and she gloats over the trouble he would eventually end up in. Apparently, he would get ten times of 50 million if he invests into the business. The next morning, Jack makes several futile attempts to reach the guys on phone and he soon realizes that he’s been duped.
Later that night, Shannon finds Jack sitting outside her house, looking so misërãble. Jack informs Shannon that he’s lost all the money that was meant for his father’s project. He worries about how his dad might react when he finds out and Shannon reprimands him for getting fööled so easily.
With the site breathing on his neck for the money, Jack asks Shannon to help him get a loan from Mrs. Gao. Shannon tells him that her mother has requested for a pledge before she would loan out the money to him. When Jack grumbles that he doesn’t have anything valuable, Shannon suggests that he use his shares in Shufon as collateral.
Jack worries about how to get the keys to the stocks which are kept in a private safe in the bank, so Shannon proposes a plan to steal the keys from Mr. Hung. In no time, Jack brings Shannon home to introduce her to his family. Pauline takes photos of her and insists that she’s Pinky and not Shannon.
Shirleen is speechless at the sight of Shannon. Cue in Gordon to ask to have a word with Shannon. Jack takes advantage of the opportunity to slip into his father’s room and he begins searching for the key. It doesn’t take long for him to find it.
Meanwhile, Gordon cautions Shannon of Jack’s marriage and relationship history but Shannon couldn’t care less. She assures him that she would treat Jack’s son like her own. Gordon is amazed and he asks Shannon why she had chosen to lövê Jack when there are far better men out there.
