“If you can help me take down the president. And I’ve taken over that position, those two stars on your shoulders I will turn to four. I will appoint you as my Director General.”
President Hidalgo talks to VP Cabrera on phone and wishes him well for his son’s upcoming hearing. Lucas is confident that Brandon would be acquitted because he’s hired the best defense lawyer. In no time, the hearing begins and Brandon strives to make the judge believe that he had merely been set up by the Vendetta because of his father’s affiliation with Hipolito.
He also denies the presence of brother Lorenzo at his house on the night in question. The commander urges the guys to give Cardo’s police friends another chance, only for Cardo to announce that Jerome and Soriano would be leaving soon to avoid another conflict.
Back in the courtroom, the prosecutor rubbishes Brandon’s claims and presents to the judge the DNA evidence of Lorenzo which the PNP had found in Brandon’s house. There’s no denying that the victim had been there at the house on that fateful night. Cardo urges Jerome and Soriano to settle their differences with the members of the Vendetta before they leave.
Back in the courtroom, the judge calls for a recess and Lucas is hounded by the press for comments as soon as he steps out. The rotten vice president still believes that his son would be acquitted. He then proceeds to badmouth the Vendetta as usual.
General Borja watches the live broadcast with his men and he hopes that they can find evidence against Lucas so he would rot in prison with his son. Jerome and Soriano express their gratitude to the members of Vendetta for how they had rescued them before. They assure the guys that they have never thought of betraying or snitching on them.
The commander declares that he can’t allow them to leave because they might be investigated and coerced to reveal their location. He and Diana urge the guys to become allies and forget their misunderstandings, and Cardo hopes that they can all be friends belonging to one family.
The Dalisay family watch Lucas’ mid-trial interview and are inclined to believe that those in power can get away with their crimes. Grandma Flora admonishes them not to lose their trust in the justice system. Brandon’s trial resumes and it’s now time for verdict to be announced.
The accused Brandon Cabrera is declared guilty beyond reasonable doubts for the charges of kidnãpping and frustrated múrdęr. He’s hereby sentenced to life imprisonment. Cheers to that. Lucas looks on in disbelief as his wretçhed son is cuffed and taken away.
While the members of the Vendetta have dinner, Romulo sends Tadpole to invite Jerome and Soriano to join them. Melba and Efren are glad to see that all differences have been settled. Tadpole, Greco and the others finally make peace with Cardo’s police friends at the table.
Meanwhile, Lucas comes to see President Hidalgo who sympathizes with him for the court’s decision. The vice president knows no shame as he insists that his son is innocent. He holds the Vendetta responsible for Brandon’s predicament and begins with his emotional blackmail.
Lucas strives to convince Oscar to give the order to have his son released from prison. However, President Hidalgo refuses to use his position to overturn the court’s decision. He tells Lucas to use the right approach by filing for an appeal and proving his son’s ‘innocence’.
“I can’t allow Oscar to refuse me just like that,” Lucas grumbles the moment he returns to his office.
“So what do you plan to do?” Hipolito asks.
“Something I should have done a long time ago.”
Homer is eager to regain the trust of the vice president, so he plots with his group to find Cardo and the Vendetta and get rid of them in order to avenge Marco and Brandon. If they can do that, they would regain the VP’s trust and become the henchmen of the country’s next president.
While Oscar confides in his wife about his talk with Lucas, Lucas goes to see his wretçhed son in prison and vows to do anything, even k!ll, to have him set free.VP Cabrera doesn’t waste time to contact a high-ranking officer in the PNP to ask for his help.
He’s eager to overthrow the president and use the power for his own selfish agenda. The Vendetta make amends with Jerome and Soriano and Ramil hopes that they would finally be able to see their noble intentions.
Jerome assures them that they’re one with them, escpecially when it concerns the country’s wellbeing. On that note, they all make a toast to their country’s wellbeing. General Terante comes to see the vice president in his office and Lucas asks for his help in creating his own private army.
Terante asks why he reached out to him for assistance and Lucas reveals that he knows he has many resources, private army and illegal businesses. He promises to offer him a much tighter protection if he helps him get rid of the Vendetta and the president as well. Once Oscar is no more, Lucas would replace him as his legitimate successor.
“You’re going to use me and the men in my unit to ässãssiñate the president, am I right?” Terante asks.

Hipolito passes by General Terante on his way to Lucas’ office and he stares at him warily.
At the hideout, Romulo makes known to Jerome and Soriano the group’s plan to kidnäp the president and they promise their loyalty. At the VP’s office, Hipolito makes a pathetic attempt to dissuade Lucas from working with General Terante.
Lucas only promises to give him a promising position once he assumes power but he refuses to risk his ambition with him. Hipolito schemes against VP Cabrera and vows to do everything he can in order to overthrow him and occupy the Palace.
He plans to do so after Lucas has gotten rid of President Hidalgo. Speaking of, the president has a meeting with his officials where he rants nonstop over the inability of the authorities to capture the Vendetta even after the encounter that had left hundreds deãd.
The Vendetta deliberate on their plan and decide to leave for Manila first thing tomorrow morning. Marissa decides to initiate her annual tree-planting program with her daughter Aubrey so Oscar deploys Casillag and his men to keep them safe. President Hidalgo has a talk with VP Cabrera and actually apologizes for not being able to help him out with Brandon’s case.
Gracey crashes the meeting and Yohan follows. And that’s Oscar’s cue to attend to his kids. Lucas regards him with absolute contempt as he asks Gracey and Yohan whether they have already eaten.
“Your entire family would be wiped out.” While the tree-planting program is still going on, some protestors crash the event and cry out for justice against the Vendetta.
Marissa stops the officers from driving the people away and resolves to hear out their sentiments. Meanwhile, President Hidalgo gives a public statement against the Vendetta and announces that he’s giving the PNP one week to eliminate ‘the threat’. He then appeals to the people to help out the authorities to bring the Vendetta to justice.
