Jenny Desperately Tries To Save Her Marriage & Company From Total Destruction. Shannon (Pinky) Brings Jenny To Her Knees.
Jenny tells Jack to stay out of her business. Jack asks why she had made him her guarantor then and Jenny begins ranting about how his family always keeps her in the dark concerning their business. She says they always exclude her and treat her like an outsider, guarding against her like she’s a thief.
Jack gets worked up about it and asks what nönseñse she’s talking about. He tells her that he would stay out of her whole life and with that, he storms off. Windsor brings Shannon (Pinky) to the cinema. While he eagerly goes to get the tickets, Shannon receives a text message from Jack, asking that they meet up to have a drink.
Windsor returns to find Shannon gone. He also receives a text message of apology from her. Shannon says she had to go because something urgent came up. Mrs. Gao has a talk with the Lin family about her son’s predicament regarding Shannon.
Jack hangs out with Shannon at the bar and thanks her for coming. The next morning, he returns home, only to be grilled by his father for spending the night outside. Jack admits that he had gone drinking because Jenny had misled him to be her guarantor for a contract.
In no time, Mr. Hung confronts Jenny and demands that she get another guarantor and leave his son out of her schemes. Jenny gets pretty loud and after a few exchange of words, Gordon suggests that she even closes down the beauty salon.
Jenny lashes out at her father-in-law, saying that he must be dreaming if he thinks she would come back home to work as a servant. Jack reprimands her and tells her that he no longer wants to be her guarantor since he doesn’t even know what she’s doing.
And to top it all, the fact that the compensation for the breach of contract is 30 million. Jenny throws a tantrum and storms out. A moment later in her office at Venus, she’s compelled by some of Mr. Hung’s men to change the guarantor for the contract.
Shannon agrees to go out to lunch with Jack. Jack receives a phone call from his wife who nags him to come home because of the pressure being put on her by his father’s secretary and lawyer. Jack says she should go and take out her anger on his dad and not him.
He then hangs up and Shannon gets him to reveal to her about what’s going on. Shannon takes the opportunity to subtly inform him about the details of Jenny’s scheme. She says his company would suffer if he acts as the guarantor.
Jack returns home to greet his wife by calling her ‘a shæmelëss woman’. He confronts her with a document he had found in her office which proves that she had used some lousy french imports to sell off as her own products.
Jenny tears up the files and Jack taunts her, saying that he still has the original papers with him. Jenny asks for him to give it back but Jack will only do so after they get a divorce. He says he can’t continue living with a shæmelëss woman like herself.
Jenny softens up and tries to coax her husband into believing and forgiving her. Jack turns a deaf ear so Jenny drops the bømb about his mother being the president of Venus. Jack is taken by surprise and appalled to realize that his wife had plotted and schemed to get his family into trouble.
He considers cutting her heart out to see if she’s really human. Jenny claims that his mother had willingly begged her to make her the president of Venus.Jack refuses to be fööled by Jenny. He asks about the other heinous things she’s done apart from tricking his mother to become the president of Venus.
Jenny plays dumb and begins with her emotional blackmail. She makes a quite pathetic act of crying and apologizing but Jack bluntly tells her to save her tears because it won’t work anymore. He storms off and goes to have a drink.
In no time, Jack talks to Shannon on phone about what he’s discovered about his wife. Jenny spies as Jack thanks Shannon for helping him to see the true colors of his wife. Shannon is delighted with Jack’s misery. Jack notices his wife but fails to catch up to her.
A moment later, Jenny storms the Gao house to confront Shannon. Giselle reprimands her and asks her to leave but Jenny won’t be stopped. Windsor comes down to curtail her outrage so Jenny decides to literally bite his arm like a vampire. She finally finds Shannon with a shirt and tie of her husband and she confronts her.
Shannon (Pinky) makes a mockery of Jenny. When Jenny tries to slãp her, Windsor shows up to stop her. Jenny then slãps him with her other free hand before Windsor grabs her and drags her out of the house. After Mrs. Gao checks on Shannon, Shannon later treats Windsor’s injury and apologizes for the incident.
She asks if it hurts and he tells her that he’s alright as long as she’s fine. When Jenny gets home, she tries to guilt trip her husband about how she had been ‘bullied’ at Shannon’s house earlier.
Jack sees through his wife’s act and admonishes her. He says he will no longer share a bed with her and hopes that she would sign the divorce agreement as soon as possible. Jenny refuses to sign and give him away to Shannon.
Jack is indifferent and even plans on taking custody of their son Shawn. Jenny makes a pathetic attempt to get him to change his mind. Windsor buys a gift for Shannon and calls her on the phone, only for his mother to pick up. Mrs. Gao informs him that Shannon had left her phone at home.
Shannon (Pinky) has a talk with Jack at Dr. Queen about Jenny’s shady scheme. Jack worries that his mother might get into trouble if she’s discovered to be the president of Venus. He assures Shannon that he will be getting a divorce soon. As he hugs her, Windsor comes upon the scene and is left speechless.
A moment later, he catches up with Shannon and urges her to give up her rëveñge and forget about Jack. Shannon bluntly refuses again.
Windsor reveals the ring he had bought and proposes to Shannon right there and then, only to be turned down and ditched.
Windsor walks the street, reflecting on his past encounters with Pinky, and Pinky also does the same in her room at home. After Jenny fails to reach her husband on the phone, she unleashes her anger on his poor clothes and tears them up mercilessly with a pair of scissors.
On her return to Venus, she finds some papers of the divorce agreement waiting for her on her desk and she grudgingly tears them up too.Jenny is notified by her secretary that their client has discovered that they’ve been supplying them with fake products.
Apparently, Shannon was the one who tipped them off. Jenny gets worked up and pretty upset. Meanwhile, Shirleen arrives home to inform her family about how Jenny’s client is going after her for breach of contract. Mrs. Hung is appalled to realize that she would have to pay the 30 million compensation.
Jenny storms Dr. Queen and offers to make a deal with Shannon – she would reveal a secret about Jack and in return, Shannon would put in a good word for her so she doesn’t lose her contract. Shannon only taunts her and when Jenny pleads for her help, she asks about the reason for the drastic change.
She can’t help but to wonder where the aggressive Jennifer has gone. Shannon asks of Jack’s secret and Jenny tells her that she had witnessed him múrdęr his ex-wife. Shannon scoffs, saying that she had just made up the story to scare her off.
Jenny then admits that she had been present when it happened at the time. Nevertheless, Shannon refuses to break up with Jack. She makes a mockery of Jenny and tells her to think of a different way to solve her problem.
Shannon shows her a sample of the french import she had copied and taunts her with her scheme, compelling Jenny to actually go on her knees and beg her not to report her. Jenny fears that she might lose everything, including her family. Shannon (Pinky) looks on casually.
