Teddy and JP ask around the bus terminal about Virgie since the bus from Manila has already arrived. Nevertheless, they don’t get any solid lead pointing to her whereabouts. Speaking of, the masked goons make mockery of Virgie as they drive her away.
They promise to let her go in one piece if she tells them what they want to hear. Virgie’s phone rings just then. It’s a call from Teddy so masked goon Roldan turns it off and mocks the poor woman.Cardo is brooding by himself when Marie comes over and makes a show of trying to connect to the Wi-Fi.
She engages our favorite hero in a conversation and goes on about how nasty and unfortunate the neighborhood is, taking note of the trash scattered everywhere to the murky river below. Cardo begs to differ, saying that she doesn’t see the beauty. Kindness and compassion is the best thing about the place. Marie jokingly asks if he wants to go swimming and Cardo takes a glance at the dirty river.
Alyana stares with obvious jealousy as Marie comes down the stairs and past her. She joins her husband up there and as predictable as can be, she asks him what he had been talking about with Marie. Cardo says she had just been looking for cell reception. He worries about their family’s safety because of their situation so Alyana suggests that they call them to see how they’re doing.
Cardo objects to the idea, saying that it’s dangerous because their phones might have been tapped.Virgie is brought to a secluded place and questioned about the whereabouts of her daughter and husband. She insists that she doesn’t know anything, in spite of the persistence of her abductors.
The goons rough her up for a while and eventually, masked Roldan holds her at guñpoiñt and resolves to knock her out when it’s evident that they wouldn’t get anything from her. A moment later at the terminal, Teddy and Virgie overhear some people talking about some woman who had been tied up and beãten.Roldan reports back to Hipolito on phone and he’s berated for failing to do his job well.
When he suggests that they go after Teddy next, Hipolito lashes out at him some more and states that if Virgie doesn’t know anything, then neither does the husband or the son. Speaking of, Teddy and JP discover the crime scene where Virgie is being attended to by some officers. They reunite with her and get all emotional about her ordeal.
At the Cabreras, Lucas stops his mental wife from self harming.Lucas has a talk with his unstable wife and urges her to go and stay in the states with Menchu for the meantime so she doesn’t become another one of the Vendetta’s victims. He then promises to avenge their son at all cost.
President Hidalgo is beating himself up for what had happened to Psyçhö Marco as well as the civilians and officers who had died in the encounter against the Vendetta. Marissa assures him that he wasn’t to blame for anything. In the meantime, Lucas has his wife and Menchu driven to the airport.
“When you return, I would have fulfilled my promise,” says the rotten vice president.
“Once you’re done avenging our son, call me right away,” Catherine remarks. “I should be the first to know about it.”
“Of course.”
While Ramil, Anton and a few other comrades ponder over their mistrust for Cardo’s police friends, Soriano spots them and tells Jerome that he thinks they’re talking about them. Jerome suggests that they just ignore them.
He receives a phone call from General Borja and updates him on the current situation of the Vendetta. Outside, Tadpole insinuates that Jerome might be trying to rat them out since he’s always on his phone. Ramil doesn’t waste time to confront the two officers. He warns them and threatens to deal with them personally if he ever finds out that they’ve ratted them out to the authorities.
Jerome gets in his face and also threatens to make him eat his words if he accuses them wrongly. He says if he wasn’t Cardo’s friend, he would have arrested him already. A face-off ensues. Ramil reiterates his warning before walking away to join his other comrades.
When Virgie is brought home, some officers interrogate her about her ordeal. They ask if she has any idea of who her ättaçkers were or who might have sent them and she replies in the negative. While the members of the Vendetta have dinner that night at their hideout, Marie decides to take a photo of our favorite hero.
Alyana looks like she’s itching for a fight. Hipolito reports back to the rotten vice president and makes known to him their plan to go after Cardo’s family. The tension between Ramil’s group and Jerome and Soriano intensifies and Romulo and Diana strive to maintain order.
Patrick hangs out with his drüg dealing buddies and reveals his plan to steal one of the countless weäpoñs of the Vendetta so they could fight back should they encounter the police in their operations. Cardo makes it clear to Romulo that he can’t abandon his buddies considering their situation, and Diana assures him that Jerome and Soriano would never betray them.
Hipolito charges Homer not to fail him again but to make sure that they get some concrete information from their next targets. The next morning during breakfast, Romulo makes it clear to the guys that he didn’t like what had happened last night.
The guys express their wariness of Jerome and Soriano as they can’t help but to worry that they might betray them because they’re cops. Jerome and Soriano decide to have breakfast inside with Cardo, Diana and a few others in order to avoid another misunderstanding. They talk about their issue with Ramil and the others.

The mayor decides to eat at grandma Flora’s food stall so Councilor Gina resolves to make a scene, telling him to stay away from ‘that family’ if he wants to live a long, peaceful life. Flora asks Gina to let them do their business in peace but of course the rotten councilor refuses to do so.
She outright announces that Flora’s grandson is a fully pledged têrrørist named Cardo Dalisay of the Vendetta. The people begin whispering among themselves and making a fuss. Grandma Flora and her family look on deplorably. Margie strives to rebut all of Gina’s accusations against Flora’s family, even as Gina tries to brainwash the mayor into believing her.
Later, the family discuss about their plight. Yolly worries that they might go bankrupt if the councilor continues scheming against them and Flora suggests that they just focus on their job and offer quality dishes and services.
At the hideout, Bubbles recounts Jerome and Soriano her connection to Homer. QJerome asks Bubbles if she knows everyone who’s linked to Homer Adlawan and she replies in the positive and reveals the influential people backing them up.
A moment later, Jerome brings Bubbles to inform the whole group about the influential people she had seen with Homer when she had been locked up in the safe house. Hipolito and VP Lucas Cabrera are on top of the list.
Delfin pays a visit to his sister’s food stall at the city hall canteen. He asks how business has been going and Yolly and the others inform him of the troubles Councilor Gina has been causing for them.
Yolly points out the councilor to Delfin and the shady official actually waves at him happily. Paco and Wally go on about the charges Gina would face once her criminal activities are exposed. Flora asks them not to bother the General with such trivial matters since he has more important things to focus on.
“So we were right all along,” Cardo states at the hideout. “Hipolito and vice president Lucas Cabrera are working together. And Homer is the one they task to carry out all the dirty jobs for them.”
Over the phone, Lucas charges Hipolito to make sure that his men deliver and make Dalisay’s family talk at all cost. Flora has a talk with Delfin about the encounter in Legarda and Marco. They both begin to wonder how the psyçhö had known where to find Alyana and Cardo.
Meanwhile, our favorite hero ignorantly assures Romulo and the others not to worry about Homer any longer. He thinks he k!lled the Scorpion for sure during their fight in Legarda. Alyana is relieved as she also thinks that Homer’s dëāth means their son’s untimely death has finally been avenged.
Later, she has a talk with her husband and promises to stay by his side and support him throughout his mission. Cardo thanks her for opening up her mind and heart to what they’re fighting for. He assures her that they would put an end to everything. Every single thing they’re doing is for the sake of their country, and they would see it through, come what may.
