Windsor Saves Shannon (Pinky) From Being Exposed. Shannon Discovers Jenny’s Cunning Scheme After She Pulls A Fast One On Her.
Betsy reprimands Shannon for keeping her waiting and even thrêatens to go to another beauty salon. When she looks up, she startles at the sight of Shannon (Pinky). Shannon stares back at her innocently, regarding her with a confused expression.
The friends of Mrs. Hung show up and they’re also surprised to see Shannon, the manager of Dr. Queen. Betsy is shocked when Shannon tells her that she isn’t Pinky.
Shannon puts on a show and leaves to go and get a glass of water as requested by Mrs. Hung. Betsy’s friends tell her that though Shannon Gao looks like Pinky, she probably isn’t Pinky because she gives off a different vibe. She’s elegant and fearless and thus, not her ex daughter-in-law. Shannon returns with a glass of water.
She hands it to Mrs. Hung but it slips out of her hand and falls. Betsy is overwhelmed at the sight of Shannon so she runs off. Shannon observes as she goes, recalling the times she had been mistreated by her former mother-in-law. Shannon (Pinky) calls Jenny on the phone to taunt her about how her mother-in-law had come to her beauty salon.
On her way out of Dr. Queen, Mrs. Hung bumps into Mrs. Lin, spilling the dishes she had been carrying. Mrs. Lin makes a mockery of Mrs. Hung for coming to the rival of her daughter-in-law. Mrs. Hung tells her to stop saying nonsense because her mouth stinks. Mrs. Lin’s response is that it’s because Betsy and her soul stink altogether.
A battle of words ensues between both women and when Mrs. Hung calls the Lin family “a house of swindlers” and brings up her daughter’s dëāth, Mrs. Lin goes at her. It’s a terrible and ridiculous catfight for the ages. Mrs. Gao comes upon the scene and after having her girls restore order, she kicks Betsy out.
A moment later in her office, Mrs. Lin apologizes for the scene she had caused but Mrs. Gao can only be appalled with Mrs. Hung’s behavior. Mrs. Gao asks Mrs. Lin why she’s come to see her and she hands her a photo of her daughter and urges her to find some information on the person (Shannon) she had seen at the salon the other day.
Mrs. Gao indulges her but silently hopes for the day when she would finally meet her daughter so she would make her sincerest apology to her for keeping her in the dark. At Shufon Group, Mr. Hung offers to set up his daughter with Windsor but Shirleen doesn’t think it would work. She rejects such dating with ulterior motives.
Mr. Hung is informed that the arts school would soon send over the details of Shannon Gao. Mrs. Lin returns home to learn that Pauline had eaten all the food in the house and had decided to sleep on her bed. Appalled, she tries to go and drive her out but is cut off by Ethan’s arrival.
Pauline spies excitedly as Ethan heads to his room to take a nap. In no time, she makes her way into Ethan’s room in such comical manner to find him asleep. Pauline excitedly pokes Ethan. When he doesn’t wake up, she joins him on the bed and ki$$es him on the cheek. She then snuggles close and sleeps by his side.
Windsor brings some designs to Mr. Hung but he meets his absence and fortunately changes upon the information the arts school had just sent off the real Shannon through fax. Windsor quickly grabs it and calls Shannon (Pinky) to alert her. He then asks her to send her photo and other details to the office before Mr. Hung arrives. Pinky expresses her utmost appreciation.
Mr. and Mrs. Lin is shocked to find Pauline in bed with Ethan. They wake up their son and reprimand him. Ethan literally falls out of the bed in hørror when he sees Pauline in his bed. His father scolds him because of the lipstick stain on his cheek and Ethan annoyingly wakes up Pauline and tries to get her out of his bed.
Pauline is half asleep and doesn’t open her eyes. She protests and says that she’s ki$$ing Pinky’s brother. After making ki$$ing gestures much to Mr. Lin’s disbelief, she snuggles close to a pillow and goes back to sleep. Shannon (Pinky) desperately strives to build up her resume and replace it with that of the real Shannon Gao.
Mr. Hung returns to his office to find that the information on Shannon Gao hasn’t arrived yet. While his right-hand man is in the process of giving the school a call, a paper comes out of the fax machine. As Windsor spies, Mr. Hung goes through the details Shannon (Pinky) had sent and he’s surprised to see that Shannon is Windsor’s brother.
Mr. Hung decides to call off the investigation on Shannon because he now believes that she’s not Pinky. Mrs. Gao informs Shannon about a client of theirs who had decided to sign a 10 million contract with Jenny’s beauty salon.
Venus would supply the client with their newly launched skincare product. Shannon is shocked since Jenny knows absolutely nothing about skincare products. She compares a sample of Jenny’s product to that of a new import from France and realizes that they’re both the same.
Shannon begins to suspect that there’s something fishy going on so she plans to pay Jenny a visit. Speaking of, Jenny pesters her mother-in-law about her visit to Dr. Queen. When Betsy brings up Shannon, Jenny badmouths her and rants nonstop about how she would be a laughing stock to Shannon because she had gone to her salon.
Shirleen criticizes Jenny’s behavior and goes on about how she has never lifted a finger to help out in the house since she got married. Jenny throws a fit, saying that she’s nobody’s slave or a second Pinky. And with that, she storms off. Betsy is preoccupied thinking about how Shannon looks exactly like Pinky.
Pauline shocks Mrs. Hung and Shirleen by asking them about how she can become prėgnant. She pesters them for an answer so Betsy says that when a man and a woman hold hands and sleep in the same bed, then they would have a baby. Shirleen stifles laughter.
Pauline goes over her auntie’s words and asks if her belly is big enough. Betsy says it sure is big because she eats like a pig. Pauline gasps, saying that she’s pregnant. Shirleen shares a look of disbelief with her mother and tries to keep herself from laughing.
At Venus, Jenny orders her subordinate to carefully continue to copy and rewrap the french skincare products as their own as soon as they receive the advance payment from the client. In no time, Shannon shows up and questions her about the dirty trick she had used to steal the client of Dr. Queen.
Jenny plays dumb and Shannon asks how she could have had the time to whip up some organic skincare product overnight when her husband has been driving her crazy. Jenny claims she had started working on the product the time she had been studying in France.
She taunts Shannon with her victory and Shannon tells her that she should enjoy her moment while it lasts. Shannon says she’s a tiger who doesn’t prey on deãd victims – she would swallow up Jenny completely, on the day she feels most alive and vibrant.
Shannon walks out of Venus to see some workers carrying boxes of the new import from France. She takes one to examine and comes to realize that Jenny has been rewrapping and rebranding the french products as her own. On this note, she calls the client and asks them to request for a guarantor if they want to play it safe with Jenny.
In no time, Jenny receives a phone call from the client who tells her that she would have to bring along a guarantor for the signing of the contract. Jenny calls her husband and convinces him to go along with her to sign the contract. Mr. Hung interrogates Windsor about his sister.
Jack reluctantly signs the contract as Jenny’s guarantor and later asks if she would take responsibility should anything go wrong. Jenny is confident that they would soon be loaded with money once the products are in high demand. Meanwhile, Shannon thanks Windsor for helping her and keeping her secret intact.
Windsor proposes to Shannon that they go out and watch a movie together. Shannon tries to go and invites Mrs. Gao also but Windsor wants it to be just the two of them. Now back at Venus, Jenny tries to convince her husband to have dinner with her at a high-end restaurant. Jack is reluctant to dine with her.
He finds a file on her desk about a contract with a foreign company, so he asks why she’s importing from abroad when she produces her own products. Jenny says she wants to offer their customers more choices. Jack won’t be fööled though. He presses for an answer and when Jenny tells him to stay out of it because it’s none of his business, he asks why she had made him her guarantor.
Jenny begins ranting about how his family always keeps her in the dark concerning their family business. She says they always exclude her and treat her like an outsider, guarding against her like she’s a thiëf. Jack gets worked up about it and asks what nönseñse she’s talking about.
