“I wish this chaos would end, along with the corruption in our government. We may have had to break the law, but we’re willing to pay for all of our crimes, if it means the country will be at peace again.”
President Hidalgo charges Casillag to ensure his family’s safety should anything happen to him. When Casillag gives him assurance and prompts him to be careful of dangerous individuals, Oscar begins to wonder what Marco had been doing in Legarda during the encounter.
Casillag then reveals the report he had received – how Marco had tried to k!ll Teddy and his son. At the new hideout, Melba wakes up the guys and makes them some breakfast while Efren assures them of their safety in the neighborhood.
Romulo and the others thank the old couple for all their help, though Ramil and a few others worry about the possibility of Cardo’s police friends ratting them out. Flora has a talk with Delfin about the encounter that had led to Marco’s dëāth.
The General wants Cardo and his group to surrender and own up to their crimes so Flora asks if he can assure her of her grandson’s safety if he surrenders. Delfin says he can’t make any promises.
Alyana is in disbelief over how her illëgâl former boyfriend had k!lled all those people and also tried to k!ll her as well. She beats herself up for ignoring the signs of his mädnêss.
Soriano points out to our favorite hero that the vice president would probably stop at nothing to avenge his psychio son’s dëāth. At the wake of the psyçhö, General Borja shows up with his men and asks to talk to the vice president in private.
Catherine begins throwing a fit and making a scene. While the members of the Vendetta have breakfast, Marie, a young woman who happens to be the granddaughter of the old couple shows up. She’s surprised to see a lot of guests staying at their house.
After speaking her mind, she leaves the guys in peace to take her beauty rest. Meanwhile, Lucas takes General Borja outside and asks him to just say what he wants to say and leave since he’s already made his wife upset.
“Our office received a report about your youngest son,” Delfin begins. “It stated Marco threatened Alyana’s father and brother, the morning before the encounter in Legarda.”
“So what do you wanna do?” Lucas scoffs. “Arrest my son? Go ahead.”
“Sir, we’re trying to get to the bottom of things. How did Marco find out that Vendetta was hiding in Legarda, given that information is highly classified?”
“I’m also wondering the same thing. It’s too bad I can no longer ask Marco.”
General Borja asks the vice president if he was the one who had given out the classified information, and he evades the question.
Lucas plays dumb when he’s questioned about his connection to Hipolito and Homer’s gãñg. He actually gets upset and tells Delfin to go out there and capture his grandson who had k!lled his son. On their way back to the office, Billy expresses his disbelief over the kind of questions the General had asked the vice president.
“Now and then, you need to provoke a snake to make it bare its fangs for all to see,” Delfin states.
“If the president finds out, your position might be in jeopardy,” Billy cautions.
“I no longer care about that. There would be times when we would have to make grave sacrifices in order to fulfil our sworn duties.”
Lucas comes to check up on his wife and urges her to take her medication, and I can’t help but to wonder if insanity runs in the family. Catherine apologizes to her husband for blaming him for their son’s dëāth. Now, she blames Cardo, Vendetta and General Borja and eagerly hopes that they find a way to k!ll them all.
So I wasn’t mistaken. Mädnêss really does run in the Cabrera family.You see, Catherine wants their enemies to suffer first before they k!ll them and Lucas promises to help. But first, she has to take her medicine. Ramil, Anton and a few others of the guys continue to be wary of Jerome and Soriano.
The officers consider leaving and when Alyana decides to stay with Cardo until their current situation is settled, Soriano points out that the authorities would be hard on their tail because of how Cardo had k!lled Marco. As if the others hadn’t helped. Lucas pays his son a visit in jail and convinces him to come along for his brother’s funeral in order to garner the sympathy of the public.
Brandon is eager to get out of jail permanently and avenge his brother’s dëāth by k!lling every member of the Vendetta. As Billy feared, President Hidalgo lamely interrogates General Borja over how he had confronted the vice president at his son’s wake. Delfin tries to reason with him but the lamebrain refuses to let his brain function properly.
Efren has a talk with his family about the corrupt government system and together with Melba, they declare their support for the Vendetta who are willing to champion the rights of poor people like themselves.
While Homer cleans up his güñ which he plans to use on Bubbles, Bubbles narrates to Melba how she had come into the company of the Vendetta. As the funeral of Psyçhö Marco begins, Hipolito gives Homer the green light to carry out their plans.
“No one can see or hear about what you’ll be doing to their families.”
“We’ll make sure no one’s going to recognize us,” Homer declares. “We’ll törtùre those people until they tell us where Dalisay and his group are hiding.” Did Dalisay and his group escape with their families? Such idiōts.
Virgie is out of the city visiting her aunt and Teddy and JP talk to her on phone about the recent troubling incidents. While Teddy hopes that Lucas puts an end to his crusade, JP also hopes the vice president would stop hunting down Cardo so Alyana could come home.
Virgie doesn’t think either instance is possible. President Hidalgo and his wife waste their time to grace the funeral of psyçhö Marco. Catherine gives an overly emotional speech about her son and if we didn’t know better, we’d think he was some kind of adorable puppy.
Lucas takes the podium and rambles some nonsense about how he had tried to give his sons everything they ever needed. He laments over things he didn’t say or do for his departed psyçhö son. Brandon looks on angrily at no one in particular as if he’s ready for a fight or something.
Eventually, psyçhö Marco’s coffin is lowered into the grave. Hopefully, this would be the last time we hear of the creep. Efren declares his utmost support for the cause of the Vendetta because he just can’t seem to understand where the taxes they’ve been paying has been going to.
He prompts the guys to take a look around the slum neighborhood, asking if they think the government is out there providing support for it’s people. Efren goes on about the better standard of living the people would have if only the taxes they pay is used by the government in the right way.
Marie goes to ask Noel her boyfriend for some food since their guests have already done justice to everything at home. Noel brings her a plate of sardines but Marie rejects it.
Marie asks if sardines is the only food he would be able to give her should they get married, adding that she might end up giving birth to mermaids. Anyway, Cardo broods by himself, hoping for the time his country would finally become peaceful.

Mari asks her brother Patrick about who their guests are and she’s shocked and excited to learn that they’re members of the Vendetta group. Lucas charges Hipolito to make sure that his men don’t fail their mission this time around.
Teddy and JP set off for the bus station to pick up Virgie, unbeknownst to them that they’re being tailed by Roldan’s group. They soon arrive at the terminal, where a black tinted car drives past them. Inside is Virgie, who’s been gagged and tied up. The goons laugh wickedly as they take Virgie away.
